⁷ Would you speak unrighteously for God and speak deceitfully for Him?

⁷ I beg you, remember, Who ever perished, being innocent? Or where were the righteous cut off?

² Should not a flood of words be answered? And should a man of lips be justified? ³ Should your lies make men silent? And will you mock, and no one make you ashamed? ⁴ For you have said, My doctrine is pure; and, I am clean in Your eyes.

⁵ He informs against friends for a share; even his son's eyes shall be consumed.

⁴ my lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.

²¹ I will not now lift up the face of a man, nor eulogize any man. ²² for I do not know how to eulogize; else after a little my Maker will take me away.

⁴ For truly my words are not false; the perfect One in knowledge is with you.

² They will put you out of the synagogue, but an hour is coming that everyone killing you will think to bear a service before God.

⁵ But if our unrighteousness commends the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who lays on wrath? I speak according to man. ⁶ Let it not be! Otherwise, how will God judge the world? ⁷ For if in my lie the truth of God abounded to His glory, why am I yet judged as a sinner? ⁸ And not (as we are wrongly accused, and as some report us to say), Let us do bad things so that good things may come, the judgment of whom is just.

² But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor adulterating the word of God, but by the revelation of the truth commending ourselves to every conscience of men before God.
