¹ And Jehovah called to Moses and spoke to him out of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying: ² Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, If any one of you brings an offering to Jehovah, from livestock of the herd, or from the flock, you shall bring near your offering. ³ If his offering is out of the herd, a male, a perfect one, he shall bring it to the opening of the tabernacle of the congregation, at his pleasure, before the face of Jehovah. ⁴ And he shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it is accepted for him to make atonement for him. ⁵ And he shall kill the son of the herd before the face of Jehovah. And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall bring near the blood and sprinkle the blood on the altar all around at the opening of the tabernacle of the congregation. ⁶ And he shall skin the burnt offering, and shall cut it into pieces. ⁷ And the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire on the altar and arrange wood on the fire. ⁸ And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall arrange the pieces, with the head and the fat, on the wood on the fire, which is on the altar. ⁹ And he shall wash its inward parts, and its legs, with water. And the priest shall burn as incense the whole of it on the altar for a burnt offering, a fire offering of soothing fragrance to Jehovah. ¹⁰ And if his offering is out of the flock, out of the sheep, or out of the goats, for a burnt offering, a male, a perfect one, he shall bring it near. ¹¹ And he shall slaughter it by the side of the altar northward, before the face of Jehovah. And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall sprinkle its blood all around on the altar. ¹² And he shall cut it to pieces with both its head and its fat, and the priest shall arrange them on the wood which is on the fire on the altar. ¹³ And he shall wash the inward parts and the legs with water, and the priest shall bring near all of it and burn it as incense on the altar; it is a burnt offering, a fire offering of soothing fragrance to Jehovah. ¹⁴ And if the burnt offering is a burnt offering out of the fowls to Jehovah, then he shall bring near his offering, of turtledoves or of the offspring of the dove. ¹⁵ And the priest shall bring it near to the altar and shall nip off its head. And he shall burn it as incense on the altar; its blood shall be drained by the side of the altar. ¹⁶ And he shall remove its crop with its feathers, and shall throw it near the altar eastward, to the place of the ashes. ¹⁷ And he shall cleave it with its wings, not dividing it, and the priest shall burn it as incense on the altar, on the wood which is on the fire; a burnt offering; it is a fire offering of soothing fragrance to Jehovah.

³ And Moses went up to God. And Jehovah called to him from the mountain, saying, You shall say this to the house of Jacob, and tell it to the sons of Israel.

¹ And He said to Moses, Come up to Jehovah, you and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy from the elders of Israel. And bow yourselves from a distance. ² And let Moses approach by himself to Jehovah, and they shall not approach. And the people shall not go up with him.

¹² And Jehovah said to Moses, Come up to Me to the mountain, and be there. And I will give to you the tablets of stone, and the law, and the commandments which I have written, to teach them.

²² And I will meet you there, and will speak with you, above the mercyseat, from between the two cherubs which are on the ark of testimony, all which I shall command you concerning the sons of Israel.

⁴² This shall be a continual burnt offering to your generations, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the face of Jehovah; there where I meet you to speak to you there.

⁷ And Moses took the tent and pitched it outside the camp, far off from the camp. And he called it the tabernacle of the congregation. And it happened that everyone seeking Jehovah went to the tabernacle of the congregation which was outside the camp.

³² And all the work of the tabernacle of the congregation was finished, And the sons of Israel did according to all which Jehovah commanded Moses; so they did.

³⁴ And the cloud covered the tabernacle of the congregation; and the glory of Jehovah filled the tabernacle. ³⁵ And Moses was not able to come into the tabernacle of the congregation because the cloud dwelt on it. And the glory of Jehovah filled the tabernacle.

⁸⁹ And when Moses went into the tabernacle of the congregation to speak with Him, he heard the voice speaking to him from the mercy-seat which is on the ark of the testimony, from between the two cherubs; and He spoke to him.

¹⁷ For the Law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

³ And in the end of days, it happened that Cain brought an offering to Jehovah from the fruit of the ground.

⁵ And He did not look to Cain and to his offering. And Cain glowed greatly with anger, and his face fell.

¹⁸ Speak to Aaron, and to his sons, and to all the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them, Any man of the house of Israel, or of the aliens in Israel, who brings near his offering, of all his vows, or of all his freewill offerings which they bring near to Jehovah for a burnt offering; ¹⁹ at your own will a male, a perfect one, of the oxen, of the sheep, or of the goats may be offered .

²⁹ Give to Jehovah the glory of His name; bring an offering and come before Him; worship Jehovah in the adornment of holiness.

¹ Therefore, brothers, I call on you through the compassions of God to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing to God, which is your reasonable service.

⁶ but having different gifts according to the grace given to us, whether prophecy, according to the proportion of faith;

² and walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for an odor of a sweet smell.

²⁰ And Noah built an altar to Jehovah, and took of every clean animal, and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

² And He said, Now take your son, Isaac, your only one whom you love, and go into the land of Moriah. And there offer him for a burnt offering on one of the mountains which I will say to you.

⁸ And Abraham said, My son, God will see to the lamb for Himself, for a burnt offering. And the two of them went together.

¹³ And Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked. And behold! A ram behind him was entangled in a thicket by its horns. And Abraham went and took the ram and offered it for a burnt offering instead of his son.

⁵ A flock animal, a perfect one, a male, a yearling, shall be to you. You shall take from the sheep or from the goats.

⁵ And he sent young men of the sons of Israel. And they offered up burnt offerings, and offered sacrifices of bullocks, peace offerings to Jehovah.

⁴ And you shall take Aaron and his sons to the door of the tabernacle of congregation. And you shall wash them in water.

¹⁸ And you shall burn all the ram on the altar; it is a burnt offering to Jehovah, a soothing fragrance; it is a fire offering to Jehovah.

⁶ And they rose early on the morrow, and they offered burnt offerings and brought near peace offerings. And the people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.

⁵ Take from among you an offering to Jehovah. Everyone willing of heart shall bring it, the offering of Jehovah: gold and silver and bronze,

²¹ And they came, every one whose heart was lifted up, and everyone whose spirit made him willing. They brought the offering of Jehovah for the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all its service, and for the holy garments.

²⁹ And every man and woman whose hearts made them willing to bring for all the work which Jehovah commanded to be done by the hand of Moses; the sons of Israel brought a willing offering to Jehovah.

³ And they took every offering before Moses which the sons of Israel had brought for the work of the service in the holy place, to do it. And they brought to him still more willing offerings morning by morning.

¹ And he made the altar of the burnt offering of acacia wood; five cubits its length and five cubits its width, square; and its height was three cubits.

¹ And if his offering is a sacrifice of peace offering, if he is offering it from the herd, whether male or female, a perfect one, he shall bring it near before the face of Jehovah.

²³ or his sin which he has sinned shall be made known to him, then he shall bring his offering, a buck of the goats, a male, a perfect one;

⁹ Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt offering; it is the burnt offering because it is burned on the altar all the night until the morning, and the fire of the altar is kept burning on it. ¹⁰ The priest shall put on his long robe of fine linen, and he shall put his linen underpants on his flesh. And he shall lift up the ashes which the fire consumed with the burnt offering on the altar, and shall put them beside the altar. ¹¹ And he shall strip off his garments, and shall put on other garments, and shall bring the ashes out to the outside of the camp, to a clean place. ¹² And the fuel on the altar shall be kept burning on it; it shall not be put out. And the priest shall burn wood on it morning by morning. And he shall lay the burnt offering in order on it. And he shall burn it as incense with the fat of the peace offering. ¹³ Fire shall be continually burning on the altar; it shall never go out.

¹⁶ And if the sacrifice of his offering is a vow, or freewill offering, in the day he brings his sacrifice near, it shall be eaten. And on the morrow the rest of it shall also be eaten.

¹⁸ And he brought the ram of the burnt offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram;

²¹ And he washed the inward parts and the legs with water, and Moses burned it as incense with the whole ram on the altar; it is a burnt offering, for a soothing fragrance; it is a fire offering to Jehovah, as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

⁷ And he shall take the two goats and shall cause them to stand before Jehovah, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

⁴ and has not brought it in to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation as an offering to Jehovah, before the tabernacle of Jehovah, blood shall be imputed to that man; he has shed blood. And that man shall be cut off from the midst of his people;

⁹ and does not bring it in to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation to offer it to Jehovah, that man shall be cut off from his people.

¹⁹ at your own will a male, a perfect one, of the oxen, of the sheep, or of the goats may be offered . ²⁰ You shall not offer that which has a blemish; for it shall not be acceptable for you. ²¹ And when a man brings near a sacrifice of peace offerings to Jehovah, to complete a vow, or for a freewill offering, of the herd or of the flock, it shall be perfect to be accepted; no blemish shall be in it; ²² blind, or broken, or maimed, or having a flow, or scurvy, or scabbed, you shall not bring these near to Jehovah; and you shall not make of them a fire offering on the altar to Jehovah. ²³ As to an ox or a sheep deformed, or dwarfed, you shall make it a freewill offering; but it is not acceptable for a vow. ²⁴ As to anything bruised, or beaten, or torn, or cut, you shall not bring it near to Jehovah; even you shall not do it in your land.

³ And Balaam said to Balak, Station yourself by your burnt offering, and I will go on; it may be that Jehovah will come to meet me, and I will declare to you the things which He reveals to Me. and he went to a high place.

¹⁰ Who can count Jacob's dust, and the number of the fourth part of Israel? Let me die the death of the righteous, and let my last end be like his! ¹¹ And Balak said to Balaam, What have you done to me? I took you to curse my enemies, and lo you have surely blessed.

¹⁹ God is not a man that He should lie, or a son of man that He should repent. Has He said, and shall He not do it? And has He spoken, and shall He not make it good?

²³ For there is not a spell against Jacob, nor any divination against Israel. Now it is said of Jacob and Israel, See what God has done! ²⁴ Behold, the people shall rise like a lioness and as a lion he shall lift himself up; he shall not lie down until he eats the prey and drinks the blood of the slain.

²⁷ And Balak said to Balaam, Come, please, I will take you to another place. It may be that it will be right in the eyes of God to curse it for me from there.

³⁰ And Balak did as Balaam said; and he offered a bullock and a ram on the altar.

⁸ And you shall offer a burnt offering to Jehovah, a soothing fragrance: one bullock, a son of the herd, one ram, seven lambs, sons of a year, they shall be perfect ones for you; ⁹ and their food offering, flour mixed with oil, three tenths parts for the bullock two tenths parts for the one ram; ¹⁰ one tenth part for the one lamb, for the seven lambs; ¹¹ one kid of the goats, a sin offering, besides the sin offering of the atonement, and the continual burnt offering, and its food offering, and their drink offerings.

¹³ And you shall offer a burnt offering, a fire offering, a soothing fragrance to Jehovah: thirteen bullocks, sons of the herd, two rams, fourteen lambs, sons of a year; they shall be perfect ones;

⁵ But you shall seek to the place which Jehovah your God shall choose out of all your tribes; for you shall seek His dwelling, to put His name there. And you shall go there. ⁶ And you shall bring your burnt offerings there, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and your vows, and your freewill offering, and the firstlings of your herd and of your flock.

¹³ Take heed to yourself that you not offer your burnt offerings in every place that you see; ¹⁴ but in the place which Jehovah shall choose in one of your tribes, there you shall offer your burnt offerings, and there you shall do all that I command.

²⁷ And you shall offer your burnt offerings, the flesh and the blood, on the altar of Jehovah your God; and the blood of your sacrifices shall be poured out by the altar of Jehovah your God; and you shall eat the flesh.

²¹ And if there is any blemish in it, lameness, or blindness, or any evil blemish whatever, you shall not sacrifice it to Jehovah your God.

¹ You shall not sacrifice to Jehovah your God an ox or sheep in which there is a blemish, any evil thing, for it is a hateful thing to Jehovah your God.

⁸ I delight to do Your will, O My God; and Your law is within My inmost soul .

³ Your people shall be willing in the day of Your power; in holy adornment from the womb of the dawn, to You is the dew of Your youth.

¹¹ What good to Me are your many sacrifices, says Jehovah? I am full of burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fattened cattle, and the blood of bulls; nor do I delight in the blood of lambs and he goats.

⁴⁰ For in My holy mountain in the mountain height of Israel, declares the Lord Jehovah, all the house of Israel shall serve Me there, all of them in the land. There I will accept them, and there I will seek your have offerings and the firstfruits of your offerings, with all your holy things.

⁷ O sword, awake against My Shepherd, and against the Man who is My companion, says Jehovah of hosts. Strike the Shepherd and the sheep will be scattered. And I will turn My hand against the little ones.

¹⁴ But cursed be a deceiver and there is a male in his flock, yet he vows it, but he sacrifices a blemished one to the Lord. For I am a great King, says Jehovah of hosts, and My name is feared among the nations.

³⁵ And answering, the angel said to her, The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you, and for this reason that Holy One being born of you will be called Son of God. ³⁶ And looking at Jesus walking, he said, Behold, the Lamb of God!

⁷ Then Jesus again said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you that I am the door of the sheep.

⁹ I am the door. If anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in, and will go out, and will find pasture.

¹² For if the eagerness is present, it is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.

⁷ Each one as he purposes in his heart, not out of grief or out of necessity, for God loves a cheerful giver. Prov. 22:8

¹⁸ For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

²⁷ that He might present it to Himself as the glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any such things, but that it be holy and without blemish.

²⁶ For such a High Priest was fitting for us: holy, harmless, undefiled, and separated from sinners, and having become higher than the heavens;

¹⁴ by how much more the blood of Christ (who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God), will purify your conscience from dead works for the serving of the living God!

⁸ Above, saying, "You did not desire nor were pleased with sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and sacrifices concerning sins," (which are offered according to the Law), ⁹ then He said, "Lo, I come to do Your will, O God." He takes away the first in order that He may set up the second; ¹⁰ by which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

¹⁸ knowing that not with corruptible things, silver or gold, you were redeemed from your worthless way of life handed down from your fathers, ¹⁹ but with precious blood of Christ, as of an unblemished and unspotted lamb,

¹⁰ And you shall bring near the bullock before the tabernacle of the congregation. And Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on he head of the bullock.

¹⁵ And you shall take one ram, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the ram.

¹⁹ And you shall take the second ram, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the ram.

² And he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering and slaughter it at the opening of the tabernacle of the congregation. And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall sprinkle the blood on the altar all around.

⁸ And he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering and shall slaughter it in front of the tabernacle of the congregation. And the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle its blood on the altar all around.

¹³ And he shall lay his hand on its head and shall slaughter it in front of the tabernacle of the congregation. And the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle its blood all around on the altar.

⁴ And he shall bring the bullock into the opening of the tabernacle of the congregation, before the face of Jehovah. And he shall lay his hand on the head of the bullock and shall slaughter the bullock before the face of Jehovah.

¹⁵ And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands on the head of the bullock before the face of Jehovah. And they shall slaughter the bullock before the face of Jehovah.

²⁰ And he shall do with the bullock as he has done to the bullock of the sin offering, so he shall do to it. And the priest shall atone for them; and it shall be forgiven them.

²⁴ and he shall lay his hand on the head of the goat and shall slaughter it in the place where he slaughters the burnt offering, before the face of Jehovah; it is a sin offering.

²⁶ And he shall burn it as incense on the altar, with all its fat, as the fat of the sacrifice of the peace offerings. And the priest shall atone for him because of his sin; and it shall be forgiven him.

²⁹ then he shall lay his hand on the head of the sin offering and shall slaughter the sin offering in the place of the burnt offering.

³¹ and he shall take off all its fat, as has been taken off the sacrifice of peace offerings. And the priest shall burn it as incense on the altar for a soothing fragrance to Jehovah. And the priest shall atone for him, and it is forgiven him.

³⁵ And he shall take off all its fat, as is taken off the fat of the lamb from the sacrifice of peace offerings. And the priest shall burn them as incense on the altar, on the fire offerings of Jehovah. And the priest shall atone for him for his sin which he has sinned; and it is forgiven him.

⁶ And he shall bring his guilt offering to Jehovah for his sin which he has sinned, a female out of the flock, a lamb, or a doe of the goats, for a sin offering. And the priest shall atone for him regarding his sin.

⁷ And the priest shall make atonement for him before Jehovah, and as regards to one thing of all that he has done, it shall be forgiven him, by being guilty in it.

¹⁴ And he brought the bullock of the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the bullock of the sin offering;

²² And he brought the second ram, a ram of the consecrations, and Aaron and his sons lay their hands on the head of the ram.

⁷ And Moses said to Aaron, Draw near to the altar and make your sin offering, and your burnt offering, and make atonement for yourself, and for the people, and make the offering of the people, and atone for them, as Jehovah has commanded.

²¹ then Aaron shall lay his two hands on the head of the living goat, and shall confess over it all the iniquities of the sons of Israel, and all their transgressions, and all their sins, and shall put them on the head of the goat, and shall send it by the hand of a chosen man into the wilderness.

²⁴ And he shall bathe his flesh with water in the sanctuary and shall put on his garments, and shall come out, and shall offer his burnt offering, and the burnt offering of the people, and shall atone for himself and for his people.

²¹ And when a man brings near a sacrifice of peace offerings to Jehovah, to complete a vow, or for a freewill offering, of the herd or of the flock, it shall be perfect to be accepted; no blemish shall be in it;

²⁷ When an ox, or lamb, or goat is born, and when it has been seven days under its dam, then from the eighth day and onward it is acceptable for an offering, a fire offering to Jehovah;

¹² And the Levites shall lay their hands on the head of the bullocks. And you shall offer the one for a sin offering, and one a burnt offering to Jehovah, to atone for the Levites.

²⁵ And the priest shall atone for all the congregation of the sons of Israel; and it shall be forgiven them. For it was in error, and they have brought their offering, a fire offering to Jehovah, and their sin offering before Jehovah for their error.

²⁸ And the priest shall atone for the soul that errs when he sins through error, before Jehovah, to atone for him. And he shall be forgiven,

¹³ And it shall be to him, and to his seed after him, the covenant of an everlasting priesthood; because he was zealous for his God, and atone for the sons of Israel.

²³ And they brought the he goats of the sin offering before the king and the congregation, and they lay their hands on them; ²⁴ and the priests slaughtered them, and made a sin offering with their blood on the altar, to atone for all Israel; for the king said, The burnt offering and the sin offering are for all Israel.

⁴ Surely He has borne our sicknesses, and He carried our pain; yet we esteemed Him plagued, smitten by God, and afflicted. ⁵ But He was wounded for our transgressions; He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His wounds we ourselves are healed. ⁶ All we like sheep have gone astray; we have each one turned to his own way; and Jehovah made meet in Him the iniquity of all of us.

⁷ even them I will bring to My holy mount and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted on My altar, for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the peoples,

²⁴ Seventy weeks are decreed as to your people, and as to your holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make atonement for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy.

²⁵ whom God set forth as a propitiation through faith in His blood, for a showing forth of His righteousness through the passing by of the sins that had taken place before, in the forbearance of God,

¹¹ and not only so, but also glorying in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we now received the reconciliation.

²⁰ Then on behalf of Christ, we are ambassadors, as God is exhorting through us, we beseech on behalf of Christ, Be reconciled to God. ²¹ For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

¹⁸ But I have all things and more than enough; I have been filled, receiving from Epaphroditus the things from you, an odor of sweet smell, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God.

⁴ for it is not possible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.

² And He is the propitiation relating to our sins, and not relating to ours only, but also relating to all the world.

⁶ And Moses took half of the blood, and he put it in basins. And he sprinkled half of the blood on the altar. ⁷ And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the ears of the people. And they said We will do all that Jehovah has spoken, and we will hear. ⁸ And Moses took the blood and sprinkled on the people, and said, Behold, the blood of the covenant which Jehovah has cut with you concerning these words.

¹⁶ And you shall slaughter the ram, and you shall take its blood and shall sprinkle it on the altar all around.

¹¹ And he shall slaughter it by the side of the altar northward, before the face of Jehovah. And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall sprinkle its blood all around on the altar.

¹⁵ And the priest shall bring it near to the altar and shall nip off its head. And he shall burn it as incense on the altar; its blood shall be drained by the side of the altar.

¹⁷ But the firstling of a cow, or the firstling of a sheep, or the firstling of a goat, you shall not redeem; they are holy. You shall sprinkle their blood on the altar, and you shall burn their fat as incense, a fire offering of soothing fragrance to Jehovah.

²² And they killed the oxen, and the priests received the blood, and sprinkled the blood on the altar. And they killed the rams, and sprinkled the blood on the altar. And they killed the lambs and sprinkled the blood on the altar.

¹¹ And they slaughtered the passover offering and the priests sprinkled out of their hand, and the Levites were stripping;

¹⁵ so He sprinkles from many nations. At Him kings shall shut their mouths; for they will see that which was not told to them; yea, what they had not heard, they will understand.

²⁵ Then I will sprinkle clean waters on you, and you shall be clean. I will cleanse you from all your defilement and from all your idols.

⁶ With what shall I come before Jehovah, to bow myself before the loftiness of God? Shall I come before Him with burnt offerings, with calves, sons of a year?

¹¹ And indeed every priest stands day by day ministering, and often offering the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.

²⁴ and to Jesus the Mediator of a new covenant, and to blood of sprinkling speaking better things than that of Abel.

² according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit to obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied to you.

²¹ And Jehovah God made coats of skin for the man and his wife, and clothed them.

⁸ And the priest who brings near any man's burnt offering, the skin of the burnt offering which he has brought near, it is the priest's, his own.

⁹ And they came to the place which God had said to him. And Abraham built there the altar, and arranged the wood. And he bound his son Isaac and laid him on the altar, on the wood.

²⁴ And fire came out from before Jehovah and consumed the burnt offering and the fat on the altar. And all the people saw, and cried aloud, and fell on their faces.

²⁶ And David built an altar there to Jehovah, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings, and called to Jehovah; and He answered him with fire from the heavens on the altar of the burnt offering.

¹ And when Solomon finished praying, then the fire came down from Heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of Jehovah filled the house;

³¹ and for the wood offering, at appointed times, and for the firstfruits. Remember me, O my God, for good!

¹⁰ Who is even among you that will shut the doors, and you not kindle fire on My altar in vain? There is no delight to Me in you, says Jehovah of hosts. I will not be pleased with a food offering from you.

¹⁷ And you shall cut the ram into pieces; and you shall wash its inward parts, and its legs, and shall place them on its pieces and on its head. ¹⁸ And you shall burn all the ram on the altar; it is a burnt offering to Jehovah, a soothing fragrance; it is a fire offering to Jehovah.

¹² And he shall cut it to pieces with both its head and its fat, and the priest shall arrange them on the wood which is on the fire on the altar.

¹⁸ And he brought the ram of the burnt offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram; ¹⁹ and one killed it, and Moses sprinkled the blood on the altar all around; ²⁰ and he cut the ram into its pieces, and Moses burned it as incense with the head, and the pieces, and the fat. ²¹ And he washed the inward parts and the legs with water, and Moses burned it as incense with the whole ram on the altar; it is a burnt offering, for a soothing fragrance; it is a fire offering to Jehovah, as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

¹³ and they presented to him the burnt offering, by its pieces, and the head, and he burned them with incense on the altar. ¹⁴ And he washed the inward parts and the legs, and burned them as incense for the burnt offering on the altar.

²³ Then let them give us two bullocks; and let them choose one bullock for themselves, and cut it in pieces, and place it on the wood, and place no fire. And I, I will prepare the other bullock and will put it on the wood, and I will not place fire.

³³ And he arranged the wood, and cut the bullock in pieces, and placed it on the wood, and said, Fill four water jars of water and pour on the burnt offering and on the wood.

²¹ And Jehovah smelled the soothing fragrance, and Jehovah said in His heart, I will never again curse the ground for the sake of man, because the imagination of the heart of man is evil from his youth. Yea, I will not again smite every living thing as I have done;

²⁵ And you shall take them from their hands, and you shall burn the burnt offering on the altar for a soothing fragrance before the face of Jehovah; it is a fire offering to Jehovah.

¹³ And he shall wash the inward parts and the legs with water, and the priest shall bring near all of it and burn it as incense on the altar; it is a burnt offering, a fire offering of soothing fragrance to Jehovah.

¹⁷ And he shall cleave it with its wings, not dividing it, and the priest shall burn it as incense on the altar, on the wood which is on the fire; a burnt offering; it is a fire offering of soothing fragrance to Jehovah.

¹¹ And the priest shall burn it as incense on the altar, bread of the fire offering to Jehovah.

¹⁴ And he washed the inward parts and the legs, and burned them as incense for the burnt offering on the altar.

⁸ And when you prepare a son of the herd for a burnt offering, or for a sacrifice, in fulfillment of a vow, or peace offerings to Jehovah, ⁹ then he shall bring near for the son of the herd a food offering of flour, three tenth parts, mixed with oil, a half of a hin; ¹⁰ and you shall bring wine near for a drink offering, a half of a hin, as a fire offering of soothing fragrance to Jehovah.

⁶ Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts; and in the hidden parts You teach me wisdom.

¹⁵ I will offer burnt sacrifices of fatlings to You, with the incense of rams; I will offer bulls with goats. Selah.

¹⁴ O Jerusalem, cleanse your heart from evil so that you may be saved. Until when will your vain thoughts lodge within you?

²⁸ When I had brought them into the land for which I lifted up My hand, to give it to them, then they saw every high hill and every leafy tree; and they offered their sacrifices there. And they have their provoking offering there. They also made their soothing aroma there and poured out their drink offerings there.

⁴¹ I will accept you with a soothing aroma when I bring you from the peoples and gather you from the lands where you have been scattered in them. And I will be sanctified among you in the eyes of the nations.

²⁵ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and of the dish, but within they are full of robbery and excess. ²⁶ Blind Pharisee! First cleanse the inside of the cup and of the dish, that the outside of them may become clean also. ²⁷ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitened graves which outwardly indeed appear beautiful, but within are full of bones of the dead, and of all uncleanness. ²⁸ So you also indeed outwardly appear righteous to men, but within are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.

¹⁵ For we are a sweet smell to God because of Christ in those being saved, and in those being lost;

⁴ And Abel brought, he also, from the firstlings of his flocks, even from their fat. And Jehovah looked to Abel and to his offering.

² Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, If any one of you brings an offering to Jehovah, from livestock of the herd, or from the flock, you shall bring near your offering. ³ If his offering is out of the herd, a male, a perfect one, he shall bring it to the opening of the tabernacle of the congregation, at his pleasure, before the face of Jehovah.

¹⁹ at your own will a male, a perfect one, of the oxen, of the sheep, or of the goats may be offered .

⁶ All we like sheep have gone astray; we have each one turned to his own way; and Jehovah made meet in Him the iniquity of all of us. ⁷ He was oppressed, and He was afflicted, but He did not open His mouth. He was led as a lamb to the slaughter; and as a ewe before her shearers is dumb, so He opened not His mouth.

²⁹ On the morrow, John sees Jesus coming toward him and said, Behold! The Lamb of God, taking away the sin of the world!

²² And he gave the table into the tabernacle of the congregation, on the side of the tabernacle, northward outside the veil.

⁵ And he shall kill the son of the herd before the face of Jehovah. And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall bring near the blood and sprinkle the blood on the altar all around at the opening of the tabernacle of the congregation.

⁷ And the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire on the altar and arrange wood on the fire. ⁸ And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall arrange the pieces, with the head and the fat, on the wood on the fire, which is on the altar. ⁹ And he shall wash its inward parts, and its legs, with water. And the priest shall burn as incense the whole of it on the altar for a burnt offering, a fire offering of soothing fragrance to Jehovah.

²⁵ Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, This is the law of the sin offering: In the place where the burnt offering is killed, the sin offering shall be killed before Jehovah. It is most holy.

² In the place where they kill the burnt offering, they shall kill the guilt offering, and its blood shall be sprinkled on the altar all around.

¹² And he killed the burnt offering. And Aaron's sons presented the blood to him and he sprinkled it on the altar all around;

⁵ And He said to me, Son of man, lift up your eyes now to the way of the north. So I lifted up my eyes the way of the north, and, behold, from the north, at the gate of the altar, was this image of jealousy at the entrance.

⁹ And he shall wash its inward parts, and its legs, with water. And the priest shall burn as incense the whole of it on the altar for a burnt offering, a fire offering of soothing fragrance to Jehovah.

⁹ And He said to him, Take for Me a heifer three years old, and a she-goat three years old, and a ram three years old, and a turtledove, even a nestling.

⁷ And if his hand does not reach to a lamb, then he shall bring his guilt offering, he who has sinned, two turtledoves, or two offspring of a dove, to Jehovah; one for a sin offering, and one for a burnt offering.

⁸ And if her hand is not able to find a lamb, then she shall take two turtle doves, or two young doves one for a burnt offering, and one for a sin offering, and the priest shall atone for her; and she shall be cleansed.

²⁹ Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, because I am meek and lowly in heart, "and you will find rest to your souls." Jer. 6:16

²⁴ and to offer a sacrifice according to that said in the Law of the Lord, a pair of turtledoves, or two nestlings of doves. Lev. 12:8

⁸ And he shall bring them to the priest, who shall bring near for a sin offering first. And he shall nip off its head from its neck, but shall not divide it . ⁹ And he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin offering on the side of the altar, and that which remains of the blood shall be drained at the base of the altar; it is a sin offering.

¹ To the Chief Musician, on the deer of the dawn. A Psalm of David. My God, my God, why have You forsaken me, and are far from my deliverance, from the words of my groaning?

²¹ Save Me from the lion's mouth; and from the horns of the wild oxen. You have answered Me.

¹ To the chief musician. Concerning the Lilies. Of David. Save me, O God, for the waters have come in to my soul. ² I sink in deep mire, and there is no standing; I have come into deep waters where the floods overflow me. ³ I am weary from my crying, my throat is scorched; my eyes fail while I wait for my God. ⁴ They who hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head; they who would destroy me are mighty, my lying enemies; then I restored what I did not take by violence. ⁵ O God, You know my foolishness, and my guiltiness is not hidden from You. ⁶ O Jehovah of hosts, do not let those who wait on You be ashamed for my sake; let not the ones who seek You be ashamed for my sake, O God of Israel. ⁷ Because I suffered reproach for Your sake, shame has covered my face. ⁸ I have become a stranger to my brothers and a foreigner to my mother's children. ⁹ For the zeal of Your house has consumed Me; and the reproaches of the ones who reproach You have fallen on Me. ¹⁰ When I humbled my soul with fasting, it also was to my reproach; ¹¹ I also made sackcloth my clothing, and I became a mockery to them. ¹² They who sit in the gate spoke of me; and I was the song of drunkards. ¹³ But as for me, my prayer is to You, O Jehovah, at a time of favor, O God! in the plentitude of Your mercy answer me, in the truth of Your salvation. ¹⁴ Deliver me out of the mire, that I may not sink; let me be delivered from those who hate me, and out of the deep waters. ¹⁵ Let not the flood waters overflow me, nor let the deep swallow me up; and let not the pit shut its mouth on me. ¹⁶ Hear me, O Jehovah, for Your mercy is good; in the plentitude of Your tender mercies, turn toward me. ¹⁷ And do not hide Your face from Your servant; for I am distressed; hear me quickly; ¹⁸ draw near my soul; redeem it; ransom me because of my enemies. ¹⁹ You know my reproach and my shame, and my dishonor; my enemies are all before You. ²⁰ Reproach has broken my heart, and I am faint; and I waited for one to show pity, but there was no one; and for comforters, but I found none. ²¹ They also gave Me gall in my food; and in My thirst they gave Me vinegar to drink.

⁴ Surely He has borne our sicknesses, and He carried our pain; yet we esteemed Him plagued, smitten by God, and afflicted. ⁵ But He was wounded for our transgressions; He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His wounds we ourselves are healed.

¹⁰ But Jehovah pleased to crush Him, to make Him sick, so that If He should put His soul as a guilt offering, He shall see His seed; He shall prolong His days; and the will of Jehovah shall prosper in His hand.

¹ And it happened, when Jesus finished all these sayings, He said to His disciples, ² You know that the Passover is coming after two days, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified. ³ Then the chief priests and the scribes and the elders of the people were assembled to the court of the high priest, the one named Caiaphas. ⁴ And they plotted together in order that they might seize Jesus by guile and kill Him . ⁵ But they said, Not during the feast, that there be no uproar among the people. ⁶ And Jesus being in Bethany, in Simon the leper's house, ⁷ a woman came to Him having an alabaster vial of ointment, very precious. And she poured it on His head as He reclined. ⁸ But seeing, His disciples were indignant, saying, For what is this waste? ⁹ For this ointment could have been sold for much and be given to the poor. ¹⁰ But knowing, Jesus said to them, Why do you cause trouble to the woman? For she worked a good work toward Me. ¹¹ For you always have the poor with you, but you do not always have Me. ¹² For in putting this ointment on My body, she did it in order to bury Me. ¹³ Truly I say to you, Wherever this gospel is proclaimed in all the world, what she did will be spoken of as a memorial of her. ¹⁴ Then one of the twelve going to the chief priests, the one named Judas Iscariot, ¹⁵ said, What will you give to me, and I will deliver Him up to you? "And they weighed to him thirty silver pieces." Zech. 11:12 ¹⁶ And from then he sought opportunity that he might betray Him. ¹⁷ And on the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus, saying to Him, Where do you desire we should prepare for You to eat the Passover? ¹⁸ And He said, Go into the city to a certain one and say to him, The Teacher says, My time is near; to you I will prepare the Passover with My disciples. ¹⁹ And the disciples did as Jesus ordered them, and prepared the Passover. ²⁰ And evening coming, He reclined with the Twelve. ²¹ And as they were eating, He said, Truly I say to you that one of you will betray Me. ²² And grieving exceedingly, they began to say to Him, each of them, Lord, not I am the one ? ²³ But answering, He said, The one dipping the hand with Me in the dish will betray Me. ²⁴ Indeed, the Son of man goes, as it has been written about Him. But woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed. It were good for him if that man was never born. ²⁵ And answering, the one betraying Him, Judas, said, Not I am the one, Rabbi? He said to him, You said it . ²⁶ And as they ate, taking the bread and blessing it, Jesus broke and gave to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is My body. ²⁷ And taking the cup, and giving thanks, He gave to them, saying, Drink all of it.

²⁷ And the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone teach you. But as His anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and as He taught you, abide in Him.

¹² he shall bring out all the bullock to the outside of the camp, to a clean place, to the place of the pouring of ashes; and he shall burn it on the wood with fire; it shall be burned at the place of pouring of ashes.

¹⁰ The priest shall put on his long robe of fine linen, and he shall put his linen underpants on his flesh. And he shall lift up the ashes which the fire consumed with the burnt offering on the altar, and shall put them beside the altar. ¹¹ And he shall strip off his garments, and shall put on other garments, and shall bring the ashes out to the outside of the camp, to a clean place.

²⁷ And the bullock of the sin offering, and the goat of the sin offering, whose blood has been brought in to atone in the sanctuary, one shall carry out to the outside of the camp; and they shall burn their skins with fire and their flesh, and their dung.

¹¹ For of the animals whose "blood is brought" by the high priest "into the Holy of Holies" concerning sins, of these the bodies "are burned outside the camp." Lev. 16:27 ¹² Indeed, because of this, in order that He might sanctify the people by His own blood, Jesus suffered outside the gate. ¹³ So let us go forth to Him outside the camp bearing His reproach. ¹⁴ For we do not have here a continuing city, but we seek the city coming.

¹⁰ And he took all these for Him, and he divided them in the middle; and he laid each piece against one another, but he did not divide the bird.

⁹ And he shall wash its inward parts, and its legs, with water. And the priest shall burn as incense the whole of it on the altar for a burnt offering, a fire offering of soothing fragrance to Jehovah. ¹⁰ And if his offering is out of the flock, out of the sheep, or out of the goats, for a burnt offering, a male, a perfect one, he shall bring it near.

⁸ And he shall bring them to the priest, who shall bring near for a sin offering first. And he shall nip off its head from its neck, but shall not divide it .

¹⁰ For You will not leave My soul in Sheol; You will not give Your Holy One to see corruption.

⁵⁰ And crying again with a loud voice, Jesus released His spirit.

³⁰ Then when Jesus took the vinegar, He said, It has been finished. And bowing His head, He delivered up the spirit.

²⁵ who was delivered because our offenses and was raised because of our justification.

⁶ You did not delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices concerning sins." ⁷ "Then I said, Lo, I come, in the heading of the Book, it was written concerning Me, to do Your will, O God." LXX-Psa. 39:7 -9; MT-Psa. 40:6 -8 ⁸ Above, saying, "You did not desire nor were pleased with sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and sacrifices concerning sins," (which are offered according to the Law), ⁹ then He said, "Lo, I come to do Your will, O God." He takes away the first in order that He may set up the second; ¹⁰ by which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. ¹¹ And indeed every priest stands day by day ministering, and often offering the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. ¹² But He, offering but one sacrifice for sins, "sat down" in perpetuity " at the right hand " of God,

¹⁵ Then through Him let us offer up a sacrifice of praise to God always, that is, the fruit of the lips, confessing to His name. ¹⁶ But do not be forgetful of doing good and sharing, for God is well pleased with such sacrifices.

¹⁹ but with precious blood of Christ, as of an unblemished and unspotted lamb, ²⁰ indeed having been foreknown before the foundation of the world, but revealed in the last times because of you, ²¹ the ones believing in God through Him, He raising Him from the dead, and giving glory to Him so that your faith and hope may be in God.

¹⁸ Because even Christ once suffered concerning sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God; indeed being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit;
