⁵ And he shall take from the congregation of the sons of Israel two kids of the goats for a sin offering, and one ram for a burnt offering.

¹³ And if the whole company of Israel shall err, and the thing has been hidden from the eyes of the assembly, and they do that which is not to be done to any of all the commands of Jehovah, and are guilty; ¹⁴ When the sin shall be known, that which they have sinned against it, then the congregation shall bring near a bullock, a son of the herd, for a sin offering. And they shall bring it in front of the tabernacle of the congregation. ¹⁵ And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands on the head of the bullock before the face of Jehovah. And they shall slaughter the bullock before the face of Jehovah. ¹⁶ And the priest who is anointed shall bring in of the blood of the bullock to the tabernacle of the congregation. ¹⁷ And the priest shall dip his finger in the blood and shall sprinkle seven times before the face of Jehovah, at the front of the veil. ¹⁸ And he shall put of the blood on the horns of the altar before the face of Jehovah in the tabernacle of the congregation. And he shall pour out all the blood at the base of the altar of burnt offering at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. ¹⁹ And he shall lift up all its fat from it and shall burn it as incense on the altar. ²⁰ And he shall do with the bullock as he has done to the bullock of the sin offering, so he shall do to it. And the priest shall atone for them; and it shall be forgiven them. ²¹ And he shall bring the bullock to the outside of the camp, and he shall burn it as he burned the first bullock; it is a sin offering of the congregation.

² Take Aaron, and his sons with him, and the garments, and the anointing oil, and the bullock of the sin offering, and the two rams, and the basket of unleavened things,

¹⁴ And he brought the bullock of the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the bullock of the sin offering;

⁸ And Aaron drew near to the altar and killed the calf of the sin offering, which is for himself; ⁹ and Aaron's sons brought the blood near to him, and he dipped his finger in the blood and put it on the horns of the altar. And he poured out the blood at the base of the altar; ¹⁰ and the fat, and the kidneys, and the fold of the liver, of the sin offering, he burned with incense on the altar, as Jehovah had commanded Moses. ¹¹ And he burned the flesh and the skin with fire, at the outside of the camp. ¹² And he killed the burnt offering. And Aaron's sons presented the blood to him and he sprinkled it on the altar all around; ¹³ and they presented to him the burnt offering, by its pieces, and the head, and he burned them with incense on the altar. ¹⁴ And he washed the inward parts and the legs, and burned them as incense for the burnt offering on the altar. ¹⁵ And he brought the offering of the people, and took the goat of the sin offering which is for the people, and killed it, and made it a sin offering like the first. ¹⁶ And he brought the burnt offering, and offered it, according to the ordinance.

¹¹ one kid of the goats, a sin offering, besides the sin offering of the atonement, and the continual burnt offering, and its food offering, and their drink offerings.

²¹ And they brought in seven bullocks, and seven rams, and seven lambs, and seven young he goats for a sin offering for the kingdom, and for the holy place, and for Judah. And he commanded the sons of Aaron, the priests, to offer on the altar of Jehovah.

¹⁷ And they offered at the dedication of this house of God a hundred bulls, two hundred rams, four hundred lambs, and twelve male goats, for a sin offering for all Israel, according to the number of the tribes of Israel.

²² And the prince shall prepare on that day for himself and for the people of the land, a bull for a sin offering. ²³ And seven days of the feast he shall prepare a burnt offering to Jehovah, seven bulls and seven rams, without blemish, daily for the seven days, and for a sin offering a kid of the goats daily.

³ For the law being powerless, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and concerning sin, condemned sin in the flesh,

²⁷ who has no need, as do the high priests, to offer sacrifices day by day, first for His own sins, then for those of the people. For He did this once for all, offering up Himself. ²⁸ For the Law makes men high priests who have infirmity, but the word of the swearing of an oath, after the Law, appoints the Son forever, having been perfected.

⁵ For this reason, coming into the world, He says, "Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but You prepared a body for Me. ⁶ You did not delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices concerning sins." ⁷ "Then I said, Lo, I come, in the heading of the Book, it was written concerning Me, to do Your will, O God." LXX-Psa. 39:7 -9; MT-Psa. 40:6 -8 ⁸ Above, saying, "You did not desire nor were pleased with sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and sacrifices concerning sins," (which are offered according to the Law), ⁹ then He said, "Lo, I come to do Your will, O God." He takes away the first in order that He may set up the second; ¹⁰ by which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. ¹¹ And indeed every priest stands day by day ministering, and often offering the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. ¹² But He, offering but one sacrifice for sins, "sat down" in perpetuity " at the right hand " of God, ¹³ from then on expecting "until His enemies are placed as a footstool" of His feet. Psa. 110:1 ¹⁴ For by one offering He has perfected in perpetuity the ones being sanctified.
