²¹ For there will be great affliction, such as has not happened from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever will be.

²² Let their table be a trap before them, and to those at ease a snare. ²³ Let their eyes be darkened from seeing, and cause their loins to quiver continually. ²⁴ Pour out Your wrath on them; and let the glow of Your anger overtake them. ²⁵ Let their home be made desolate; let no one dwell in their tents. ²⁶ For whom You have stricken, they have persecuted; and they gossip to the pain of those You pierced. ²⁷ Put iniquity to their iniquity, and do not let them enter into Your righteousness. ²⁸ Blot them out from the Book of Life; yea, let them not be written with the righteous.

¹² And I will number you to the sword; and you shall all bow down to the slaughter; because I called and you did not answer. I spoke, and you did not hear; and you did the evil in My eyes; and you chose that in which I had no pleasure. ¹³ So the Lord Jehovah says this: Behold, My servants shall eat, but you shall be hungry. Behold, My servants shall drink, but you shall be thirsty. Behold, My servants shall rejoice, but you shall be ashamed. ¹⁴ Behold, My servants shall sing for joy of heart, but you shall cry from heartbreak, and howl from breaking of spirit. ¹⁵ And you shall leave your name for a curse to My chosen. And the Lord Jehovah shall kill you; and He shall call His servants by another name. ¹⁶ He who blesses himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth. And he who swears in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former distresses are forgotten; and because they are hidden from My eyes.

¹⁵ For, behold, Jehovah will come with fire, and His chariots like the tempest, to return His wrath in fury, and His rebuke in flames of fire. ¹⁶ For by fire and by His sword Jehovah will execute judgment with all flesh; and the slain of Jehovah shall be many.

²⁶ And after sixty two weeks, Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself. And the people of a coming prince shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. And its end shall be with the flood, and ruins are determined, and war shall be until the end.

¹ And at that time, Michael shall stand up, the great ruler who stands for the sons of your people. And there shall be a time of distress, such as has not been from the existence of a nation until that time. And at that time, your people shall be delivered, everyone that shall be found written in the Book.

² Hear this, you old men, and give ear, all you people of the land. Has this been in your days, or even in the days of your fathers?

² a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, as the dawn spread out on the mountains, a great and a strong people. There has never been the like, nor shall there ever be again to the years of many generations;

⁸ I also cut off three shepherds in one month. And My soul despised them, and their soul also detested Me. ⁹ Then I said, I will not feed you; that which dies, let it die; and that which is to be cut off, let it be cut off. And let the rest eat, each woman the flesh of her neighbor.

² For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem. And the city shall be captured, and the houses plundered, and the women ravished. And half the city shall go into exile and the rest of the people shall not be cut off from the city. ³ And Jehovah shall go out and fight against those nations, like the day He fought in the day of battle.

¹ For, behold, the day is coming, burning like a fire pot; and all the proud and every doer of wickedness shall be chaff. And the coming day will set them ablaze, says Jehovah of hosts, which will not leave root or branches to them.

²⁹ And immediately after the affliction of those days the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give her light, and the stars will fall from the heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

⁹ But you yourselves be careful, for they will deliver you up to sanhedrins and to synagogues. You will be beaten, and you will be led before governors and kings for My sake, for a testimony to them.

⁴³ For the days will come on you, and your enemies will raise up a rampart to you and will surround you and will keep you in on every side, ⁴⁴ and will tear you down, and your children in you, and will not leave a stone on a stone, because you did not know the time of your visitation.

²⁴ And they will fall by the mouth of the sword and will be led captive to all the nations. And Jerusalem will be trodden down by nations, until the times of the nations are fulfilled.

¹⁶ hindering us from speaking to the nations in order that they be saved, to fill up their sins always. But the wrath has come on them to the uttermost.

²⁶ For if we are willfully sinning after receiving the full knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice concerning sins, ²⁷ but a certain fearful expectation of judgment and "zealous fire being about to consume the adversaries." Isa. 26:11 ²⁸ If anyone did not regard the Law of Moses, that one dies without pities on " the word of two or three witnesses." Deut. 17:6 ²⁹ How much worse punishment do you think will be thought worthy to receive, the one trampling the Son of God, and having counted common the blood of the covenant in which he was sanctified, and having insulted the Spirit of grace?
