²⁷ For as the lightning comes forth from the east and shines as far as the west, so also will be the coming of the Son of man.

And He said to them, Where the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together.

⁸ You also be long-suffering. Set your hearts firmly, because the coming of the Lord has drawn near.

⁴ and saying, Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue this way from the beginning of creation.
