¹ Blessed is the man who has not walked in the counsel of the ungodly, and has not stood in the way of sinners and has not sat in the seat of scorners. ² But his delight is only in the law of Jehovah, and he meditates in His law day and night. ³ And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivulets of waters, which will give its fruit in its seasons, and its leaf will not wither, and all which he does will prosper. ⁴ Not so are the wicked, but they are only as chaff which the wind drives about. ⁵ On account of this the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. ⁶ For Jehovah is knowing the way of the righteous, and the way of the wicked shall perish.

²⁴ And Enoch walked with God; then he was not; for God took him.

⁶ Let not my soul come into their counsel; let not my spirit be joined to their company. For in their anger they killed a man; and in selfwill they hamstrung a bull.

²⁷ If you will not listen to Me for this, and shall walk contrary to Me, ²⁸ then I also will walk contrary to you in fury. I also will chastise you, I also, seven times for your sins.

² And all these blessings shall come on you and overtake you. If you will listen to the voice of Jehovah your God. ³ You shall be blessed in the city, and you shall be blessed in the field. ⁴ The fruit of your body shall be blessed, and the fruit of your ground, and the fruit of your livestock, the offspring of your oxen, and the young ones of your flock. ⁵ Your basket and your kneadingtrough shall be blessed. ⁶ You shall be blessed when you come in, and you shall be blessed when you go out. ⁷ Jehovah shall cause your enemies that rise up against you to be stricken before your face. They shall come out against you one way, and flee before you seven ways. ⁸ Jehovah shall command the blessing on you in your storehouses and all that you set your hand to . And He shall bless you in the land which Jehovah your God is giving to you. ⁹ Jehovah shall establish you a holy people to Himself, as He has sworn to you, if you shall keep the commands of Jehovah your God and welcome His ways. ¹⁰ And all the peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of Jehovah, and they shall fear you. ¹¹ And Jehovah shall prosper you in goods, and in the fruit of your body, and in the fruit of your livestock, and in the fruit of your ground in the land which Jehovah swore to your fathers to give it to you. ¹² Jehovah shall open to you His good treasure, the heavens to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. And you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. ¹³ And Jehovah shall make you the head, and not the tail. And you shall be only above, and you shall not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of Jehovah your God, which I am commanding you today, to be careful to do them. ¹⁴ And you shall not turn away from all the words which I am commanding you today, right or left, to go after other gods, to serve them. ¹⁵ And it shall be, it you will not heed the voice of your God, to take heed to do all His commandments and His statutes which I am commanding you today, even all these curses shall come on you and overtake you: ¹⁶ You shall be cursed in the city, and you shall be cursed in the field. ¹⁷ Your basket and your kneading-trough shall be cursed. ¹⁸ The fruit of your body shall be cursed, and the fruit of your land, the offspring of your oxen, and the young ones of your sheep. ¹⁹ You shall be cursed when you come in, and you shall be cursed when you go out. ²⁰ Jehovah shall send cursing on you, trouble and rebuke in all that you set your hand, all which you will do, until you are destroyed, or until you quickly perish, because of the badness of your doings by which you have forsaken Me. ²¹ Jehovah shall make the plague cling to you until He has consumed you from off the land where you are going, to possess it. ²² Jehovah shall strike you with lung disease and with a fever, and with an inflammation, and with extreme burning, and with the sword, and with blasting and mildew. And they shall pursue you until you perish. ²³ And your heavens over your head shall become bronze, and the earth under you iron. ²⁴ Jehovah shall make the rain of your land be dust and ashes. It shall come down on you from the heavens until you are destroyed. ²⁵ Jehovah shall cause you to be stricken before your enemies. You shall go out one way against them, and shall flee seven ways before them. And you shall be a trembling to all the kingdoms of the earth. ²⁶ And your body shall be food to all the birds of the heavens, and to the beasts of the earth; and there shall be none to cause them to tremble. ²⁷ Jehovah shall strike you with the ulcer of Egypt, and with hemorrhoids, and with the scab, and with itch, of which you cannot be healed. ²⁸ Jehovah shall strike you with madness, and with blindness, and with astonishment of heart. ²⁹ And you shall grope at noonday as the blind grope in darkness. And you shall not prosper in your ways. And you shall be always oppressed and plundered all the days; and there will be no one to save. ³⁰ You shall betroth a wife, and another shall lie with her. You shall build a house, and you shall not live in it. You shall plant a vineyard, and shall not use its fruit. ³¹ Your ox shall be slaughtered before your eyes, and you shall not eat of it. Your ass shall be violently taken away from before you, and it will not be given back. Your sheep shall be given to your enemies, and you shall have no deliverer. ³² Your sons and your daughters shall be given to another people; and your eyes shall look and fail for them all the day. And no power shall be in your hand. ³³ The fruit of your ground, and all your labor, shall be eaten up by a nation which you do not know And you shall always be oppressed and crushed. ³⁴ And you shall be maddened because of that which you shall see with the sight of your eyes. ³⁵ Jehovah shall strike you with an evil ulcer on the knees, and on the legs, of which you cannot be healed from the sole of your foot even to your crown. ³⁶ Jehovah shall cause you and your king whom you shall raise up over you, to go to a nation which you have not known, you and your fathers. And you shall serve other gods there, wood and stone. ³⁷ And you shall be an astonishment, a proverb and a byword among all the peoples where Jehovah shall lead you. ³⁸ You shall carry much seed out to the field, and you shall gather in little; for the locusts will devour it. ³⁹ You shall plant vineyards, and shall labor, and you shall not gather, nor drink wine; for the worm will devour it. ⁴⁰ You shall have olive trees in all your border, and you shall not anoint with oil; for your olive shall fall off. ⁴¹ You shall father sons and daughters, and they shall not be with you; for they shall go into captivity. ⁴² The locust shall possess all your trees and fruit of your ground. ⁴³ The alien in your midst shall go above you, higher and higher; and you shall come down, lower and lower. ⁴⁴ He shall lend to you, and you shall not lend to him. He shall be the head, and you shall be the tail. ⁴⁵ And all these curses shall come on you and shall pursue you and overtake you, until you are destroyed; for you did not heed the voice of Jehovah your God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which He commanded you. ⁴⁶ And they shall be on you for a sign and for a wonder, and on your seed forever. ⁴⁷ Because you did not serve Jehovah your God with joyfulness and with gladness of heart for the abundance of all things, ⁴⁸ and you shall serve your enemies whom Jehovah shall send on you, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in lack of all things . And He shall put an iron yoke on your neck until He has destroyed you. ⁴⁹ Jehovah shall raise a nation against you from afar, from the end of the earth, as the eagle flies; a nation whose tongue you will not understand, ⁵⁰ a nation fierce of face, who will not regard the person of the aged, nor show favor to the young. ⁵¹ And he shall eat the fruit of your livestock, and the fruit of your land, until you are destroyed. He shall not leave to you grain, new wine, and oil, offspring of your oxen, or young ones of your flock, until he has destroyed you. ⁵² And he shall lay siege to you in all your gates, until your high and fortified walls in which you are trusting come down, in all your land; yea, he shall lay siege to you in all your gates, in all your land which Jehovah your God has given to you. ⁵³ And you shall eat the fruit of your body, the flesh of your sons and your daughters whom Jehovah your God has given to you, in the siege, and in the anguish with which your enemies shall distress you. ⁵⁴ The man who is tender and very delicate among you, and his eye shall be evil against his brother, and against the wife of his bosom, and against the remnant of his sons which he has left; ⁵⁵ so that he will not give to any of them of the flesh of his sons that he shall eat, because he has nothing left to him in the siege, and in the anguish with which your enemies shall distress you in all your gates. ⁵⁶ The tender and delicate woman among you, who would not have ventured to set the sole of her foot on the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil against the husband of her bosom, and against her son, and against her daughter; ⁵⁷ and against her fetus which comes out from between her feet, even against her sons whom she shall bear. For she shall eat them in secret, for the lack of everything in the siege and in the anguish with which the enemy shall distress you within your gates. ⁵⁸ If you will not take heed to do all the words of this law written in this book, to fear this glorious and fearful Name, Jehovah your God, ⁵⁹ then Jehovah will make your plagues remarkable, and the plagues of your children shall be great and persistent plagues with evil and long lasting sicknesses. ⁶⁰ He shall also bring on you all the diseases of Egypt, of which you were afraid; and they shall cling to you. ⁶¹ Also every sickness and every plague which is not written in the book of this law, Jehovah shall cause them to come on you until you are destroyed. ⁶² And you shall be left few in number, whereas you were as the stars of the heavens for multitude, because you would not obey the voice of Jehovah your God. ⁶³ And it shall be, as Jehovah rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you, so Jehovah shall rejoice over you to destroy you, and to lay you waste. And you shall be plucked from the land you are going to possess. ⁶⁴ And Jehovah shall scatter you among all people, from one end of the earth even to the other, and you shall serve other gods there, wood and stone, which you have not known, nor your fathers. ⁶⁵ And among these nations you shall find no ease, nor shall the sole of your foot have rest. But Jehovah shall give you there a trembling heart and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind. ⁶⁶ And your life shall hang in doubt before you, and you shall fear day and night, and shall have no assurance of your life. ⁶⁷ In the morning you shall say, Oh that it were evening! And in the evening you shall say, Oh that it were morning! For the fear of your heart with which you fear, and for the sight of your eyes which you shall see. ⁶⁸ And Jehovah shall bring you into Egypt again with ships, by the way of which I said to you, You shall never see it again. And you shall be sold to your enemies there, for male slaves and slave-girls; and there shall be no buyer.

²⁹ Blessed are you, O Israel! Who is like you? A people saved by Jehovah, the Shield of your help, and He who is the Sword of your excellency! And your enemies shall be found liars before you, and you shall tread on their high places.

³¹ And it happened as if it were a light thing, that he walked in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took a wife, Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal, the king of the Sidonians, and went and served Baal, and bowed himself to it.

³ He also walked in the ways of the house of Ahab, for his mother was his counselor to do evilly.

³ Is it good to You that You should crush, that You should despise the work of Your hands, and You shine on the counsel of the wicked?

¹⁶ Behold, their good is not in their hand! The counsel of the wicked is far from me.

⁵ If I have walked with vanity, or my foot has hurried to deceit,

⁶ For Jehovah is knowing the way of the righteous, and the way of the wicked shall perish.

¹² Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish from the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Oh the blessings of all those who flee to Him for refuge!

⁴ I have not sat with lying men; and I will not go in with hypocrites; ⁵ I have hated the assembly of evildoers, and I will not sit with the wicked.

¹² My foot stands in an even place; in the assemblies, I will bless Jehovah.

¹ A Psalm of David. A Contemplation. Blessed is he whose transgression is lifted, whose sin is covered. ² Blessed is the man to whom Jehovah does not charge iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.

⁸ Taste and see that Jehovah is good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him.

⁴ He plots evil on his bed; he sets himself on a way that is not good; he does not hate evil.

² Hide me from the council of those who injure, from the tumult of evildoers,

¹² So I gave them up to the stubbornness of their own hearts; they walked in their own conceits.

¹² O Jehovah of hosts, blessed is the man who trusts in You!

³ Blessed are those keeping judgment, he who does righteousness in every season.

¹ Praise Jehovah! Blessed is the man who fears Jehovah, delighting greatly in His commands.

¹² Jehovah remembers us; He will bless; He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron; ¹³ He will bless those who fear Jehovah, the small and the great. ¹⁴ Jehovah will add on to you; on you and on your sons. ¹⁵ You are blessed to Jehovah, He who makes heavens and earth.

¹ Aleph Blessed are the upright in the way, who walk in the law of Jehovah. ² Blessed are those keeping His testimonies, who seek Him with the whole heart.

¹¹⁵ Depart from me, O evildoers, for I will keep my God's commands.

¹⁵ Blessed are the peoples that are so; blessed are the peoples whose God is Jehovah!

⁵ Blessed is he who has the God of Jacob in his help; his hope is on Jehovah his God;

⁹ Jehovah watches over the strangers; He relieves the orphan and the widow, but He warps the way of the wicked.

¹⁵ My son, do not walk in the way with them! Hold back your foot from their path;

²² How long will you love to be simple, you simple ones? And will scorners desire scorn for themselves? And will fools hate knowledge?

¹² to deliver you from the evil way, from the man who speaks perverse things;

³⁴ Surely He scorns the scorners, but He gives grace to the lowly.

¹⁴ Do not enter the path of the wicked, and do not go in the way of evildoers. ¹⁵ Avoid it, do not pass by it; turn from it and pass on.

¹⁹ The way of the wicked is as darkness; they do not know at what they stumble.

¹² If you are wise, you shall be wise for yourself, but if you scorn, you alone shall bear it .

¹⁵ Good sense gives grace, but the way of traitors is ever flowing.

²⁰ He who walks with the wise shall be wise, but one associating with fools shall be broken.

²⁹ Judgments are prepared for scorners, and blows for the backs of fools.

¹⁷ I did not sit in the circle of merrymakers, nor exult. I sat alone because of Your hand; for You have filled me with indignation.

⁷ Blessed is the man who trusts in Jehovah, and Jehovah is his trust.

¹⁸ But I said to their sons in the wilderness, Do not walk in the statutes of your fathers and do not keep their judgments, and do not defile yourselves with their idols.

¹³ Go in through the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are the ones who go through it. ¹⁴ For narrow is the gate, and constricted is the way that leads away into life, and few are the ones who find it.

¹⁷ And answering, Jesus said to him, Blessed are you, Simon, son of Jonah, for flesh and blood did not reveal it to you, but My Father in Heaven.

²⁸ But He said, No; rather, blessed are those hearing the Word of God, and keeping it.

⁵¹ This one was not assenting to their counsel and deed ( he was from Arimathea, a city of the Jews), and who himself was eagerly expecting the kingdom of God,

¹⁷ If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.

²⁹ Jesus said to him, Because you have seen Me, Thomas, you have believed. Blessed are the ones not seeing and believing.

² through whom also we have had access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we glory on the hope of the glory of God.

¹³ Because of this, take up all of the armor of God that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having worked out all things, to stand.

³ For the time of life having passed is sufficient for us to have worked out the will of the nations, having gone on in wantonness, lusts, drunkenness, parties, carousings, and unlawful idolatries;

¹⁴ Blessed are the ones doing His commands, that their authority will be over the Tree of Life, and by the gates they may enter into the city.

⁸ This book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, and you shall meditate on it by day and by night, so that you shall be on guard to do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall prosper your way, and then you shall act wisely.

¹² nor have I departed from the command of His lips; I treasured the words of His mouth more than my portion.

⁸ I delight to do Your will, O My God; and Your law is within My inmost soul .

³⁴ My thoughts on Him shall be sweet; I will be glad in Jehovah.

¹¹ I have hidden Your word in my heart, that I might not sin against You.

¹⁵ I will meditate in Your precepts and I will regard Your ways. ¹⁶ I will delight myself in Your statutes. I will not forget Your word.

³⁵ Make me walk in the way of Your commands, for in it I delight.

⁴⁷ And I will delight myself in Your commandments, which I have loved. ⁴⁸ And I will lift up my hands to Your commandments that I love; and I will meditate on Your statutes.

⁷² The law of Your mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver.

⁹² If Your law had not been my delight, then I had perished in my grief.

⁹⁷ Mem. Oh how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day. ⁹⁸ You make me wiser than my enemies by Your commands; for they are forever mine. ⁹⁹ I have more wisdom than all my teachers; for Your testimonies are a meditation to me.

¹⁶ Your words were found and I ate them; and Your Word was to me the joy and gladness of my heart. For I am called by Your name, O Jehovah, God of hosts.

³⁷ and she was a widow of eighty four years, who did not depart from the temple, serving night and day with fastings and prayers.

⁷ and will God not at all execute the avenging of His elect, those crying to Him day and night, also having been long-suffering over them?

²² For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man;

⁹ For, brothers, you remember our labor and toil, night and day, working in order not to put a burden on any one of you, we proclaimed to you the gospel of God.

¹⁵ Give care to these things; be in these things in order that your progress may be plain in all.

³ I have thanks to God, whom I worship from my forebears in a pure conscience, how unceasingly I have remembrance concerning you in my petitions night and day,

³ For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not heavy.

³ And his master saw that Jehovah was with him, and Joseph was prospering in his hand everything which he did.

²³ There was no looking of the warden of the prison house to anything in his hand, in that Jehovah was with him, and Jehovah was prospering what he was doing.

⁷ Only be strong and very brave, so that you may take heed to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you. Do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may act wisely wherever you go. ⁸ This book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, and you shall meditate on it by day and by night, so that you shall be on guard to do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall prosper your way, and then you shall act wisely.

¹¹ Now, my son, may Jehovah be with you, and may you prosper and build the house of Jehovah your God, as He spoke concerning you.

²¹ And in every work that he began for the service of the house of God, and in the Law, and in the commandment, to seek his God with all his heart, he worked and prospered.

²³ And many brought an offering to Jehovah, to Jerusalem, and precious things to Hezekiah the king of Judah; and he was lifted up before the eyes of all the nations after this.

⁹ at the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth branches like a plant.

¹⁴ They shall bear fruit in old age; they shall be fat and fresh,

² For you shall surely eat the labor of your hands; you shall be happy, and all is good to you.

⁸ And those who pass by have never said, The blessing of Jehovah be on you; we bless you in the name of Jehovah.

¹⁰ Say to the righteous that it is well; for they shall eat of the fruit of their doings.

¹¹ When its boughs dry up, they are broken off. Women shall come and burn them, for it is a people with no understanding. On account of this His Maker shall not pity him, and His Former will not favor him.

⁴ And they shall sprout as among grass, as willows by streams of water.

⁸ For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters. It sends out its roots by the stream, and it will not fear when the heat comes; but its foliage will be green; and it is not anxious in the year of drought, nor will it cease from yielding fruit.

⁸ It was planted in a good field by great waters to make branches and to bear fruit, to be a splendid vine.

¹⁰ Your mother is like a vine in your blood, planted by the waters. She was fruitful and full of branches because of many waters.

¹² And all trees for food shall go up by the torrent, on its lip on this side and on that. Its leaf shall not fade, and its fruit shall not fail; it will bear by its months, because its waters come out from the sanctuary. And its fruit shall be for food, and its leaf for healing.

⁶ And the sun rising, it was scorched; and because of having no root, it was dried up.

¹⁹ And seeing one fig tree by the road, He went up to it, and found nothing on it except leaves only. And He said to it, Let there be no more fruit from you forever. And the fig tree immediately dried up.

³⁴ And when the season of the fruits came, he sent his slaves to the vinedressers to receive his fruits.

⁴¹ They said to Him, Bad men! He will miserably destroy them, and he will rent out the vineyard to other vinedressers who will give to him the fruits in their seasons.

⁶ Unless one remains in Me, he is cast out as the branch and is dried up; and they gather and throw them into a fire, and they are burned.

¹² These are sunken rocks in your love feasts, feasting together with you, feeding themselves without fear, waterless clouds being carried about by winds, fruitless autumn trees, having died twice, having been plucked up by the roots;

² In the midst of its street and of the river, from here and from there, was a tree of life producing twelve fruits: according to one month each yielding its fruit. And the leaves of the tree were for healing of the nations.

¹⁸ they are as straw before the wind, and as chaff that the tempest steals away.

⁵ Let them be as chaff before the wind, and the Angel of Jehovah driving away.

¹³ The nations shall crash like the crashing of many waters, but He rebukes it, and it flees far away; yea, it is driven like the chaff of mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before a tempest.

⁵ And the host of your strangers shall be as fine powder, and as chaff passing, the host of terrifying ones; and it will be suddenly, instantly;

³ So they shall be as the morning cloud, and as the early dew that passes away, as chaff storm driven from the threshing floor, and as the smoke out of the window.

¹² whose fan is in His hand, and He will cleanse His floor and will gather His wheat into the barn. But He will burn up the chaff with fire that cannot be put out.

⁵ The boasters shall not set themselves before Your eyes. You hate all workers of iniquity.

⁷ But Jehovah is seated forever; He has established His throne for judgment. ⁸ And He shall judge the world in righteousness; He shall judge the peoples in uprightness.

¹⁶ Jehovah has been known, He has executed judgment; the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. A meditation, Selah.

³ Who shall go up into the hill of Jehovah? And who shall stand in His holy place?

⁹ Do not take away my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men,

¹⁸ Then you shall again see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between him who serves God and him who does not serve Him.

⁴⁹ So it will be in the end of the age: the angels will go out and will separate the wicked from the midst of the righteous,

³² And before Him shall be gathered all the nations; and He will separate them from one another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.

⁴¹ Then He will also say to those on His left, Go away from Me, cursed ones, into the everlasting fire having been prepared for the Devil and his angels.

⁴⁶ And these shall go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into everlasting life.

³⁶ Then be watchful at every time, begging that you be counted worthy to escape all these things which are about to happen, and to stand before the Son of man.

¹⁵ "to do judgment against all, and to rebuke all" the ungodly of them concerning all their ungodly works which :they ungodly" did, "and concerning all the hard things ungodly sinners spoke against Him." I Enoch 1:9; 5:4; 60:8

¹⁰ But He knows the way with me. When I am tried, I shall come forth as gold.

⁶ The desolations of the enemy are ended forever; and You have uprooted the cities; their memory has perished with them.

¹⁸ Jehovah knows the days of the upright, and their inheritance shall be forever. ¹⁹ They shall not be ashamed in an evil time; and they shall be full in days of famine. ²⁰ But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of Jehovah shall be like the beauty of pastures; they are consumed like smoke; they are consumed. ²¹ The wicked borrows and never repays, but the righteous is gracious and giving. ²² For His blessed ones inherit the earth, and those cursed by Him shall be cut off. ²³ The steps of a man are ordered from Jehovah, and He will delight in his way. ²⁴ Though he falls, he is not cast down; for Jehovah upholds his hand.

¹⁰ The wicked shall see and be vexed; he shall gnash his teeth and melt; the desire of the wicked shall perish.

¹ To the chief musician. A Psalm of David. O Jehovah, You have searched me and known me . ² You know my sitting down, and my rising up; You understand my thought from afar off.

³ When my spirit faints within me, then You know my path; they have hidden a snare for me in the path in which I walk.

¹² There is a way that seems right to a man, but the end of it is the ways of death.

⁹ The way of the wicked is hateful to Jehovah, but He loves him who pursues righteousness.

⁷ Jehovah is good for a stronghold in the day of distress; and He knows those who trust in Him.

¹³ Go in through the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are the ones who go through it.

¹⁴ I am the Good Shepherd, and I know those that are Mine, and I am known by the ones that are Mine.

²⁷ My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

¹⁹ However, the foundation of God stands firm, having this seal, " The Lord knew those being His;" Num. 16:5, also, Let everyone naming the name of Christ depart from unrighteousness.

¹² But these as unreasoning natural beasts, having been born for capture and corruption, speaking evil in that of which they are ignorant, they shall utterly perish in their corruption,
