¹ A Song of Ascents. Of David. Behold! How good and how pleasant is the living of brothers, even in unity. ² It is like the precious oil on the head that ran down on the beard, Aaron's beard, going down to the mouth of his garments; ³ like the dew of Hermon coming down on the mountains of Zion; for there Jehovah commanded the blessing: life till everlasting.

⁸ And Abram said to Lot, Please let there be no strife between me and you, and between my herdsmen and your herdsmen, for we are men, brothers.

²⁴ And he sent his brothers away; and they went. And he said to them, Do not quarrel along the way.

²⁶ And Abner called to Joab, and said, Does the sword devour forever? Do you not know that it will be bitter in the end? And until when will you say to the people to turn back from after their brothers? ²⁷ And Joab said, As God lives, for if you had not spoken, surely then in the morning the people would have gone up, each one from following his brother.

¹ A Song of Ascents; of David. I was glad when they said to me, Let us go into the house of Jehovah.

⁶ Pray for the peace of Jerusalem; those who love you shall prosper. ⁷ Peace be within your walls; prosperity in your towers. ⁸ Because of my brothers and my companions, I will now say, Peace be in you.

¹ A Song of Ascents. Of David. O Jehovah, my heart is not proud, nor have my eyes been lofty; nor have I walked in great things, nor in things too wondrous for me.

⁶ And the wolf shall live with the lamb; and the leopard shall lie with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little boy shall lead them.

⁹ They shall not do evil, nor destroy in all My holy mountain. For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of Jehovah, as the waters cover the sea.

¹³ And the envy of Ephraim shall turn off; and Judah's foes shall be cut off. Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not trouble Ephraim.

³⁹ And I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me all the days, for good to them and to their sons after them.

³⁵ By this all shall know that you are My disciples, if you have love among one another.

²¹ that all may be one, as You are in Me, Father, and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.

¹⁰ Now I exhort you, brothers, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ that you all say the same thing, and there be no divisions among you, but you be united in the same mind and in the same judgment.

³ being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. ⁴ There is one body and one Spirit, even as you also were called in one hope of your calling; ⁵ one Lord, one faith, one baptism, ⁶ one God and Father of all, He above all and through all and in you all.

² fulfill my joy, that you think the same, having the same love, one in soul, minding the one thing, ³ doing nothing according to party spirit or self-glory, but in humility, esteeming one another to surpass themselves; ⁴ each not looking at their own things, but each also at the things of others. ⁵ For let this mind be in you which also was in Christ Jesus,

¹ Let brotherly love continue.

⁸ And, finally, be all of one mind, sympathetic, loving the brothers, tenderhearted, friendly,

¹⁴ We know that we have passed from death to life because we love the brothers. The one not loving the brother remains in death. ¹⁵ Everyone hating the brother is a murderer, and you know that every murderer does not have everlasting life abiding in him. ¹⁶ By this we have known the love of God, because that One laid down His life for us; and on behalf of the brothers we ought to lay down our lives. ¹⁷ Whoever has the means of life of the world, and sees his brother having need, and shuts up his bowels from him, how does the love of God abide in him? ¹⁸ My little children, let us not love in word, or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. ¹⁹ And in this we shall know that we are of the truth, and shall persuade our hearts before Him,

³³ And you shall make pomegranates of blue and purple and crimson on its hem, all around on its hem; also bells of gold shall be among them all around:

⁷ And you shall take the oil of anointing and shall pour on his head, and shall anoint him.

²⁵ And you shall make it an oil of holy anointing, ointment compound, the work of a perfumer, an oil of holy anointing it shall be. ²⁶ And you shall anoint with it the tabernacle of the congregation and the ark of the testimony, ²⁷ and the table and all its vessels and the altar of incense, ²⁸ and the altar of burnt offering, and all its vessels, and the laver and its base. ²⁹ And you shall sanctify them, and they shall become most holy; everything touching them shall become holy. ³⁰ And you shall anoint Aaron and his sons, and you shall consecrate them to minister as priests to Me.

²⁴ And they made on the hems of the robe pomegranates of blue, and purple, and crimson, bleached, twined linen .

¹² And he poured of the anointing oil on the head of Aaron, and anointed him, to sanctify him.

⁵ Let the righteous strike me; it is a mercy; and he rebuking me, it is oil of the head, let not my head refuse it; for yet my prayer also shall be against their evils.

⁹ Ointment and perfume give joy to the heart, and one's friend is sweet from the counsel of the soul.

³ For Your ointments have a lovely fragrance; Your name is as ointment poured out; on account of this the virgins love You.

³ Then taking a pound of ointment of pure, costly spikenard, Mary anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped off His feet with her hairs. And the house was filled with the odor of the ointment.

²¹ Then I have commanded My blessing on you in the sixth year, and it shall produce the increase for three years;

⁸ And we took the land that was beyond the Jordan from the valley of Arnon to Mount Hermon, out of the hand of the two kings of the Amorites. ⁹ The Sidonians call Hermon Sirion, and the Amorites call it Senir;

⁴⁸ from Aroer, which is on the edge of the river of Arnon, even to Mount Sion, which is Hermon;

⁸ Jehovah shall command the blessing on you in your storehouses and all that you set your hand to . And He shall bless you in the land which Jehovah your God is giving to you.

¹¹ and Gilead, and the border of the Geshurites, and of the Maachathite, and all Mount Hermon, and all Bashan to Salcah;

¹¹ You will make Me know the way of life. In Your presence is fullness of joys; at Your right hand are pleasures forever.

⁴ He asked life from You: You gave to him length of days forever and ever.

⁸ Jehovah will command His loving-kindness by day, and His song shall be with me in the night, a prayer to the God of my life.

¹² The king's wrath is like a lion's roar, but his favor is like dew on the grass.

⁷ And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many peoples as dew from Jehovah, as showers on a blade of grass, which does not wait for man, nor delay for the sons of men.

¹⁴ but whoever may drink of the water which I will give him will never ever thirst, but the water which I will give to him will become a fountain of water in him, springing up into everlasting life.

²⁴ Truly, truly, I say to you, the one who hears My word, and believes the One who has sent Me, has everlasting life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

²⁹ And they will come out, the ones having done good into a resurrection of life; and the ones having practiced evil into a resurrection of judgment.

⁵⁰ This is the Bread coming down out of Heaven, that anyone may eat of it and not die. ⁵¹ I am the Living Bread that came down from Heaven. If anyone eats of this Bread, he will live forever. And indeed the bread which I will give is My flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

⁶⁸ Then Simon Peter answered Him, Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of everlasting life.

²⁵ Jesus said to her, I am the Resurrection and the Life. The one believing into Me, though he die, he shall live. ²⁶ And everyone living and believing into Me shall not ever die forever. Do you believe this?

²¹ that as sin ruled in death, so also grace might rule through righteousness to everlasting life, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

²³ For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is everlasting life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

²⁵ And this is the promise which He promised us: everlasting life.

¹¹ And this is the witness: that God gave us everlasting life, and this life is in His Son.

¹⁸ and the Living One; and I became dead; and, behold, I am living forever and ever. Amen. And I have the keys to Hades, and of death.
