⁸ Also in Choreb you⌃ provoked the Lord, and the Lord was angry with you to destroy you;

⁷ And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, Go quickly, descend hence, for your people whom you brought out of the land of Egypt have transgressed; ⁸ they have quickly gone out of the way which you commanded; they have made for themselves a calf, and worshipped it, and sacrificed to it, and said, ⁹ These are your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. ¹⁰ And now let me alone, and I will be very angry with them and consume them, and I will make you a great nation.

¹⁶ And the tables were the work of God, and the writing the writing of God written on the tables.

¹⁹ Then they cried to the Lord in their affliction, and he saved them out of their distresses. ²⁰ He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them out of their destructions. ²¹ Let them acknowledge to the Lord his mercies, and his wonderful works to the children of men. ²² And let them offer to him the sacrifice of praise, and proclaim this works with exultation.
