⁵ And your name shall no more be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraam, for I have made you a father of many nations.

¹⁵ And God said to Abraam, Sara your wife—her name shall not be called Sara, Sarrha shall be her name.

²⁸ And he said to him, Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel shall be your name; for you have prevailed with God, and shall be mighty with men.

⁷ You are the Lord God, you did choose Abram, and brought him out of the land of the Chaldeans, and gave him the name of Abraam:

² And the Gentiles shall see your righteousness, and kings your glory: and one shall call you [by] a new name, which the Lord shall name. ³ And you shall be a crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God. ⁴ And you shall no more be called Forsaken; and your land shall no more be called Desert: for you shall be called My Pleasure, and your land Inhabited: for the Lord has taken pleasure in you, and your land shall be inhabited.

¹⁵ For you⌃ shall leave your name for a loathing to my chosen, and the Lord shall destroy you: but my servants shall be called by a new name,

³ And Paschor brought Jeremias out of the dungeon: and Jeremias said to him, [The Lord] has not called your name Paschor, but Exile.

⁶ In his days both Juda shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell securely: and this is his name, which the Lord shall call him, Josedec among the prophets.
