²⁹ I am become a brother of monsters, and a companion of ostriches.

¹⁴ I have called upon death to be my father, and corruption [to be] my mother and sister.

⁶ The Lord executes mercy and judgment for all that are injured.

²¹ But wild beasts shall rest there; and the houses shall be filled with howling; and monsters shall rest there, and devils shall dance there, and satyrs shall dwell there; and hedgehogs shall make their nests in their houses. It will come soon, and will not wait.

¹⁴ As a swallow, so will I cry, and as a dove, so do I mourn: for mine eyes have failed with looking to the height of heaven to the Lord, who has delivered me, and removed the sorrow of my soul.
