²¹ So when they had further threatened them, they let them go; for they found no cause to punish them because of the people: for all men praised God for that which was done.

⁸ But when the crowds saw it, they were frightened, and they glorified God, because he had given such power as this to men.

³³ And as soon as he was restored, the dumb man spoke, and the people were amazed and said, Such a thing has never been seen in Israel.

²⁶ Then the leaders went with the soldiers to bring them, not by force, for they were afraid that the people might stone them.
