⁷ And they brought the ass and the colt, and they put their garments on the colt, and Jesus rode on it.

⁴ So they went and found the colt tied by the door, outside, in the street. And as they were untying it, ⁵ Some of the men who stood there said to them, What are you doing, are you untying the colt? ⁶ And they said to them as Jesus had instructed them; and they permitted them. ⁷ And they brought the colt to Jesus, and they put their garments on it, and Jesus rode on it. ⁸ And many spread their garments on the road; and others cut down branches from the trees, and spread them on the road.

³² And those who were sent went away, and found just as he had told them. ³³ And as they were untying the colt, its owners said to them, Why do you untie the colt? ³⁴ And they said to them, Our Lord needs it. ³⁵ And they brought it to Jesus; and they put their garments on the colt, and they set Jesus on it.
