¹ AND a great sign was seen in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: ² And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. ³ And there appeared another sign in heaven; and behold, there was a great dragon of fire, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. ⁴ And his tail cut off a third of the stars of heaven and cast them to the earth; and the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to be delivered, so as to devour her child as soon as it was born. ⁵ And she brought forth a male child, who was to shepherd all the nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up to God, and to his throne. ⁶ And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she had a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there a thousand and two hundred and three score days. ⁷ And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, ⁸ But did not prevail; neither was their place found any longer in heaven. ⁹ Thus the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world: he was cast out on the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. ¹⁰ And I heard a loud voice in heaven saying, Now the deliverance and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ, has been accomplished: for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before God day and night, is cast down. ¹¹ And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they did not spare themselves even unto death. ¹² Therefore rejoice, O ye heavens and you who dwell in them. Woe to the inhabitants of the earth, and of the sea! for the Devil has come down to you; and his wrath is great, because he knows that his time is short. ¹³ And when the dragon saw that he was cast down to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to a son. ¹⁴ And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly from the presence of the serpent to the wilderness, into her place, where she would be nourished for years, and months, and days. ¹⁵ Then the serpent sent a flood of water out of his mouth after the woman, so that he might cause her to be swept away by the flood. ¹⁶ But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth, and swallowed up the water which the dragon had gushed out of his mouth. ¹⁷ And the dragon was enraged at the woman, and he went to make war with the remnant of her seed, who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus.

³⁸ Then some of the men of the scribes and Pharisees answered and said to him, Teacher, we would like to see a sign from you.

³⁰ Then the sign of the Son of man will appear in the sky; and then all the generations of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of the sky, with an army and great glory.

²⁵ And the stars will fall down from the sky, and the powers of the universe will be shaken.

¹¹ And there will be great earthquakes in different places, and famines and plagues; and there will be alarming sights, and great signs will appear from heaven; and the winters will be severe.

²⁵ And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars; and on earth distress of the nations, and confusion because of the roaring of the sea;

²⁹ He who has a bride is the bridegroom; and the best man of the bridegroom is he who stands up and listens to him, and rejoices greatly because of the bridegroomÆs voice; this my joy therefore is fulfilled.

¹⁹ And I will show wonders in heaven, and signs on the earth; blood and fire and vapor of smoke:

²² But the righteousness of God is by the faith of Jesus Christ to every one, also to every man who believes in him, for there is no discrimination:

¹⁴ But clothe yourselves with our LORD Jesus Christ, and take no heed for the lusts of the flesh.

² For I am zealous for you with the zealousness of God, for I have espoused you to a husband, that I may present you as a pure virgin to Christ.

²⁷ For those who have been baptized in the name of Christ have been clothed with Christ.

¹⁴ But as for me, I have nothing on which to boast, except the cross of our LORD Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me and I am crucified unto the world.

²⁵ Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ loved his church, and gave himself for it; ²⁶ That he might sanctify and cleanse it, by the washing of water and by the word, ²⁷ In order to build for himself a glorious church, without stain or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

³² This is a great mystery; but I speak concerning Christ and his church.

¹¹ For the grace of God that brings salvation has been revealed to all men. ¹² It teaches us to renounce ungodliness and worldly lusts, and to live in this world soberly, righteously, and in godliness;

²⁰ The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks are the seven churches.

¹⁹ And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his covenant; and there were lightnings, and thunderings, and voices, and an earthquake, and a great hailstorm.

³ And there appeared another sign in heaven; and behold, there was a great dragon of fire, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

¹ AND I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is fulfilled the wrath of God.

¹⁴ And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

²³ The city has no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God lightens it, and the Lamb is the lamp of it.

²¹ When a woman is in travail, she is depressed, because her day has arrived; but when she has given birth to a son, she no longer remembers her troubles, because of the joy that a male child * is born into the world.

¹⁹ My little children, for whom I am in travail again, until Christ be a reality in you,

²⁷ For as it is written, Make merry, O you barren who bear not; rejoice and cry, O you who travail not; for the children of the forsaken are more numerous than the children of the one who is favored.

⁴ And his tail cut off a third of the stars of heaven and cast them to the earth; and the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to be delivered, so as to devour her child as soon as it was born.

⁹ Thus the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world: he was cast out on the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

¹⁷ And the dragon was enraged at the woman, and he went to make war with the remnant of her seed, who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus.

¹³ And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the wild beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

³ So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet wild beast inscribed with many words of blasphemy and having seven heads and ten horns. ⁴ And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls; and she had a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her adultery on earth.

⁷ And the angel said to me, Why do you wonder? I will tell you the mystery of the woman, and of the wild beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.

⁹ Here is understanding for him who has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sits. ¹⁰ And there are seven kings of whom five have fallen, and one is, and the other has not yet come; and when he comes he shall continue only for a short time.

¹² And the ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet; but receive authority as kings for one hour with the beast.

¹⁶ And the ten horns, and the wild beast which you saw shall hate the harlot, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.

¹² His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had names written, and one of the names written, no man knew but he himself.

² And he seized the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Tempter and Satan, who deceived the whole world, and bound him a thousand years,

³ But when Herod the king heard it, he trembled, and all Jerusalem with him. ⁴ So he gathered together all the high priests and the scribes of the people, and he kept asking them, where the Christ would be born? ⁵ They said, In Bethlehem of Judah, for thus it is written in the book of the prophet: ⁶ Even you, Bethlehem of Judah, you are not insignificant in the eyes of the kings of Judah, for from you shall come out a king, who will shepherd my people Israel. ⁷ Then Herod called the Magi secretly, and he learned from them at what time the star appeared to them. ⁸ And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said to them, Go and enquire very carefully concerning the boy, and when you have found him, come back and let me know, so that I also may go and worship him. ⁹ When they had heard from the king, they went away; and behold, the same star that they had seen in the east was going before them, until it came and stood just above the place where the infant boy was. ¹⁰ When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly. ¹¹ And they entered the house, and they saw the infant boy with Mary, his mother; and they threw themselves down and worshipped him; and they opened their treasures and offered to him gifts - gold and frankincense, and myrrh. ¹² And they saw in a dream not to return to Herod, so they departed to their own country by another way. ¹³ When they had gone, the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, and said to him, Arise, take the infant boy and his mother, and escape to Egypt, and stay there until I tell you, for Herod is ready to demand the child so as to destroy him. ¹⁴ Then Joseph rose up, took the infant boy and his mother in the night, and escaped to Egypt. ¹⁵ And he remained there until the death of Herod, so that what was said from the Lord by the prophet, might be fulfilled, I have called my son from Egypt. ¹⁶ When Herod saw that he was insulted by the Magi, he was greatly enraged, so he sent forth and had all the infant boys in Bethlehem and in its suburbs killed, from two years old and down, according to the time that he had enquired from the Magi.

⁴⁴ You are from the father of accusation, and you want to do the lusts of your father, he who is a murderer of men from the very beginning and who never stands by the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks he speaks his own lie, because he is a liar, and the father of it.

⁸ Be vigilant, and be cautious; because your adversary, the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour:

⁷ The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with water, and they were poured upon the earth: and a third part of the earth was burnt up and a third part of the trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

¹⁰ And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and they had power to hurt men five months.

¹⁹ For the power of the horses was in their mouths, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents and had heads, and with them they do harm.

² And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. ³ And there appeared another sign in heaven; and behold, there was a great dragon of fire, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

¹⁸ And the woman whom you saw is that great city, which has dominion over the kings of the earth.

²⁵ And he did not know her until she gave birth to her first-born son; and she called his name Jesus.

¹⁹ Then our Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, ascended to heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

² I knew a man in Christ more than fourteen years ago, but whether I knew him in the body or without the body, I do not know: God knows; this very one was caught up to the third heaven.

²⁶ And he who overcomes, and keeps my works unto the end, to him I will give authority over the nations: ²⁷ And he shall shepherd them with a rod of iron; like the vessels of the potter, they shall be shattered: even as I was disciplined by my Father.

¹² And they heard a great voice from heaven saying to them, Come up here. And they went up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies saw them.

² And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

¹⁵ And out of his mouth came a sharp twoedged sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he shall tread the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

¹¹ Then the adversary left him alone; and behold the angels drew near and ministered unto him.

² But leave out the outer court of the temple, and do not anoint it; for it has been given to the Gentiles; and they shall tread the holy city under foot for forty and two months. ³ Then I will give power to my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand and two hundred and three score days, clothed in sackcloth.

¹⁴ And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly from the presence of the serpent to the wilderness, into her place, where she would be nourished for years, and months, and days.

⁵ And there was given to him a mouth that he might utter great things and blasphemies; and power was given to him to make war for forty and two months.

⁴¹ The Son of man will send his angels, and they will pick out from his kingdom all things which cause stumbling, and all workers of iniquity.

²⁷ For the Son of man will come in the glory of his Father with his holy angels; and then he will reward each man according to his works.

³¹ And he will send his angels with a large trumpet, and they will gather his chosen ones from the four winds, from one end of the universe to the other.

⁴¹ Then he will also say to those at his left, Go away from me, you cursed, to the everlasting fire, which is prepared for the adversary and his angels.

⁵³ Or do you think that I cannot ask of my Father, and he will now raise up for me more than twelve legions of angels?

⁷ And lest I should be exalted through the abundance of the revelations, there was delivered to me a thorn in my flesh, the angel of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted.

¹² For your conflict is not only with flesh and blood, but also with the angels, and with powers, with the rulers of this world of darkness, and with the evil spirits under the heavens.

⁷ And to you who are oppressed, he shall grant to be at peace with us, when our LORD Jesus Christ shall be revealed from heaven with the host of his angels,

¹⁰ And it was meet and proper for him, in whose hand is everything and for whom are all things, to bring many sons to glory, so that from the very beginning of their salvation, they are made perfect through sufferings.

⁴ God did not spare the angels, who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for tormenting judgment;

⁹ Yet Michael, the archangel, when contending with the devil about the body of Moses, did not dare to bring railing accusation against him, but said, The LORD rebuke thee.

³ And there appeared another sign in heaven; and behold, there was a great dragon of fire, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. ⁴ And his tail cut off a third of the stars of heaven and cast them to the earth; and the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to be delivered, so as to devour her child as soon as it was born.

⁷ And power was given to him over every tribe and kindred and tongue, and nation, and it was given to him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them.

¹¹ And I saw heaven opened, and behold, I saw a white horse; and he who sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. ¹² His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had names written, and one of the names written, no man knew but he himself. ¹³ And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and he called his name, The Word of God. ¹⁴ And the armies which were in heaven followed him on white horses clothed in fine linen, pure and white. ¹⁵ And out of his mouth came a sharp twoedged sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he shall tread the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. ¹⁶ And he had a name written on his vesture and on his thigh, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. ¹⁷ And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together for the great supper of God; ¹⁸ That you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. ¹⁹ Then I saw the wild beast and the kings of the earth, and their armies gathered together to fight against him who sat on the horse, and against his armies. ²⁰ And the wild beast was taken and with him the false prophet who wrought miracles before him with which he deceived those who had received the mark of the wild beast, and those who worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

¹⁸ I tell you also that you are a stone, and upon this stone I will build my church; and the doors of Sheol shall not shut in on it.

²⁵ That he may receive the lot to the ministry and apostleship, from which Judas has been relieved to go his own way.

³¹ What then shall we say concerning these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? ³² If he did not spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, why will he not freely give us all things with him? ³³ Who is to complain against the chosen ones of God? It is God who justifies. ³⁴ Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died and rose again, and he is at the right hand of God making intercession for us. ³⁵ What shall separate me from the love of Christ? tribulation, or imprisonment, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? ³⁶ As it is written, For your sake we die every day, and we are accounted as lambs for the slaughter. ³⁷ But in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. ³⁸ For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor empires, nor armies, nor things present, nor things to come, ³⁹ Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shall be able to separate me from the love of God, which is in Jesus Christ our LORD.

⁶ And the angels that did not keep their first estate but left their own habitation, he has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

¹¹ And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they did not spare themselves even unto death.

¹ THEN Jesus was carried away by the Holy Spirit into the wilderness, to be tempted by the adversary.

⁵ Then the adversary took him to the holy city, and he made him to stand up on the pinnacle of the temple.

⁸ Again the adversary took him to a very high mountain, and he showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.

¹⁰ Then Jesus said to him, Go away, Satan, for it is written, You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.

³⁹ The enemy who sowed them is Satan; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

²⁴ For there will rise false Christs and lying prophets, and they will show signs and great wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the chosen ones.

¹² Those on the roadside are those who hear the word; and the enemy comes and takes away the word from their heart, so that they may not believe and be saved.

¹⁸ He said to them, I saw Satan falling like lightning from heaven.

¹⁶ This one is a daughter of Abraham, and behold, the adversary has bound her for eighteen years; was it not necessary for her to be loosened from this bond on the sabbath day?

³ But Satan had taken possession of Judas who is called of Iscariot, who was of the number of the twelve.

³¹ And Jesus said to Simon, Simon, behold Satan wants to sift all of you as wheat;

³¹ Now is the judgment of this world; now the leader of this world will be cast out.

³⁰ Hereafter I will not talk much with you; for the prince of this world comes; and yet he has nothing against me.

¹¹ Concerning judgment, because the leader of this world has been judged.

³ And Simon Peter said to him, An-a-niÆas, why has Satan so filled your heart that you should lie to the Holy Spirit and hide part of the money of the price of the field?

¹⁸ To open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, and receive forgiveness of sins, and a portion with the saints who are of the faith in me.

¹⁸ For those who are such do not serve our LORD Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by smooth words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple people.

²⁰ The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The Grace of our LORD Jesus Christ be with you.

¹¹ Lest Satan might take advantage of us: for we know his devices.

⁴ To those in this world whose minds have been blinded by God, because they did not believe, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the likeness of God, should shine on them.

³ But I am afraid, that just as the serpent through his deceitfulness misled Eve, so your minds should be corrupted from the sincerity that is in Christ.

¹⁴ There is no marvel in this; for if Satan disguises himself as the angel of light,

¹⁴ That we henceforth be not as children easily stirred and carried away by every wind of false doctrines of men who through their craftiness are artful in deceiving the people;

³ Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, unless it is preceded by a rebellion, and the man of sin be revealed as the son of perdition,

⁹ Even him, whose coming is due to the working of Satan, with all power and signs and lying wonders, ¹⁰ And with all deceitfulness of unrighteousness in those who perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved thereby. ¹¹ For this cause God shall send them strong delusion that they should believe a lie.

¹⁴ And Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and she transgressed the law.

⁶ He should not be a recent convert, lest he become proud and fall into the condemnation of the devil. ⁷ Moreover, he must have a good report from outsiders; lest he fall into reproach and the snares of the devil.

¹³ But bad and deceptive men shall grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

¹⁴ Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also likewise partook of the same; and by his death he has destroyed him who had the power of death, that is, the devil.

⁸ He who commits sin is of the devil; because the devil has been a sinner from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God appeared, that he might destroy the works of the devil. ⁹ Whoever is born of God does not commit sin because GodÆs seed is in him; and he cannot sin because he is born of God. ¹⁰ In this the children of God can be distinguished from the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness and does not love his brother, does not belong to God.

¹⁹ And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in wickedness.

⁹ I know your works and your suffering and poverty, but you are rich, and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews, and are not, but are of the synagogue of Satan.

¹³ I know your works and where you dwell even where SatanÆs seat is: And you uphold my name, and you did not deny my faith, even in those days when that witness of mine appeared, that faithful one of mine who was slain among you, where Satan dwells.

²⁴ But I say unto you, the rest of you in Thy-a-tiÆra, those of you who do not have this doctrine, and those who have not known, as they say, the depths of Satan, that I will not put upon you another burden.

⁹ Behold I turn over those of the synagogue of Satan, who say that they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.

¹ AND the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven upon the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.

²⁰ And the rest of the men who were not killed by these plagues, neither repented of the works of their hands, that is to say, the worship of devils and idols of gold and silver and brass and stone and of wood, which can neither see nor hear;

⁷ And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought,

¹⁴ Beguiling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the wild beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived.

¹⁴ For they are the spirits of devils, who work miracles which go forth to the kings of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

² And he cried with a mighty voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, and has become a habitation of those possessed with devils, and the shelter of every foul spirit and the shelter of every unclean and detestable bird and the shelter of every unclean and loathsome wild beast.

²³ And the light of a lamp shall shine no more at all in you; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in you: for your merchants were the great men of the earth; for by your sorceries were all peoples deceived.

²⁰ And the wild beast was taken and with him the false prophet who wrought miracles before him with which he deceived those who had received the mark of the wild beast, and those who worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

² And he seized the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Tempter and Satan, who deceived the whole world, and bound him a thousand years, ³ And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up and set a seal over him, that he should no more deceive the nations until the thousand years should be fulfilled: after that he will be loosed for a short time.

⁸ And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, even to China and Mongolia, to gather them together for war: the number of them is as the sand of the sea.

¹⁰ And the devil who deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where also are the beast and the false prophet; and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

¹⁰ Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven so on earth.

⁶⁴ Jesus said to him, You say that. But I say to you that from henceforth you will see the Son of man sitting at the right hand of the power, and coming upon the clouds of the sky.

¹⁸ And Jesus came up and spoke with them, and said to them, All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Just as my Father has sent me I am also sending you.

² Jesus said to them, When you pray, say like this, Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Let thy will be done, as in heaven, so on earth.

⁴ In the name of our LORD Jesus Christ, gather together, and I will be with you in spirit and with the power of our LORD Jesus Christ;

⁹ And he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore I would rather boast in my infirmities that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

³ Teach the older women likewise, to behave as becomes the worship of God, not false accusers, not enslaved to much wine, but to become teachers of good things;

²⁶ And he who overcomes, and keeps my works unto the end, to him I will give authority over the nations:

¹⁰ And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God, who sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb.

¹⁵ And the seventh angel sounded, and there were great sounds of thunders, saying, The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdom of our LORD, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

¹ AND after these things, I heard a great voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and power, and glory, and honor to our God: ² For his judgments are true and righteous: for he has condemned the great harlot, who has corrupted the earth with her adultery, and has avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. ³ And a second time, they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever. ⁴ And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God who sat on the throne, saying, Amen, Alleluia. ⁵ And a voice came out from the throne, saying, Praise our God, all you his servants, and you who fear him, both small and great. ⁶ And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for our LORD God, omnipotent, reigns. ⁷ Let us be glad and rejoice, and give glory to him: for the time of the marriage feast of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.

²⁶ He who comes to me and does not put aside his father, and his mother, and his brothers, and his sisters, and his wife, and his children, and even his own life, he cannot be a disciple to me.

³³ These things I have said to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but have courage; I have conquered the world.

²⁴ But to me my life is nothing; I am not afraid. I desire only that I may finish my course with joy and finish the ministry, which I have received from our LORD Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

¹³ Then Paul answered and said, Why do you weep and break my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem, for the sake of the name of our LORD Jesus Christ.

⁵⁷ But thanks be to God, who has given us the victory through our LORD Jesus Christ.

³ For though we do live an earthly life, yet we do not serve worldly things. ⁴ For the weapons which we use are not earthly weapons, but of the might of God by which we conquer rebellious strongholds; ⁵ Casting down imaginations, and every false thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and to capture every thought to the obedience of Christ;

¹³ Wherefore put you on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to meet the evil one, and being prepared you shall prevail. ¹⁴ Arise, therefore, gird your loins with truth, and put on the breastplate of righteousness; ¹⁵ And have your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; ¹⁶ Together with these, take for yourselves the shield of faith, for with it you shall be able to quench all the flaming darts of the wicked. ¹⁷ And put on the helmet of salvation, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: ¹⁸ And pray always, with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and in that prayer be watchful at all times, praying constantly and supplicating for all the saints,

⁷ I have fought a good fight, I have finished my race, I have kept my faith: ⁸ Henceforth there is preserved for me a crown of righteousness, which my LORD, the righteous judge, will give me at that day: and not to me only but also to all those who eagerly await his appearance.

¹⁴ Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also likewise partook of the same; and by his death he has destroyed him who had the power of death, that is, the devil. ¹⁵ And has released them who, through fear of death all their lives, were subject to slavery.

³⁵ Restored to women their sons, raised from the dead: while others died through tortures, not hoping for deliverance; that they might have a better resurrection: ³⁶ Others endured mockings and scourgings, still others were delivered to bonds and imprisonment: ³⁷ Others were stoned, others were sawn apart, others died by the edge of the sword: others wandered about, wearing sheep skins and goat skins; destitute, afflicted and tormented; ³⁸ Of whom the world was not worthy: they wandered as though lost in the desert, and in mountains, and in dens and in caves of the earth.

¹³ I write to you, fathers, because you have known him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I write to you, little children, because you have known the Father. ¹⁴ I have written to you, fathers, because you have known him that is from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the evil one.

⁴ But you are of God, my children, and have overcome them: because he who is among you is greater than he who is in the world.

⁵ Who is he who triumphs over the world but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

² Who bore record of the word of God and of the testimony of Jesus Christ and of all things that he saw.

⁹ I, John, your brother, and companion in suffering, and in the hope of Jesus Christ, was in the island which is called Patmos, because of the word of God, and because of the testimony of Jesus Christ.

⁷ He who has ears, let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches: To him who overcomes, I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of my God.

¹⁰ Fear none of those things which you shall suffer: behold, the devil will cast some of you into prison, that you be tried; and you will be oppressed for ten days: be faithful even to death, and I will give you a crown of life. ¹¹ He who has ears, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches; He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death.

¹⁷ He who has ears, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches; To him who overcomes, I will give to eat of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no man knows except he who receives it.

⁵ He who overcomes, the same shall be clothed in white robes; and I will not blot his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

¹² He who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall not go out again: and I will write upon him the name of my God and the name of the new Jerusalem which comes down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

²¹ To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with me on my throne, even as I also overcame, and have sat down with my Father on his throne.

⁹ And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the sake of the word of God and for the testimony of the Lamb which they had:

¹⁰ And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God, who sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb. ¹¹ And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before his throne on their faces, and worshipped God. ¹² Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power and might to our God for ever and ever. Amen. ¹³ And one of the elders answered and said to me, Who are these who are arrayed in white robes? And from whence did they come? ¹⁴ And I said to him, My LORD, you know. And he said to me, These are those who came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

⁷ And when they have finished their testimony, the wild beast which ascends out of the bottomless pit, shall make war against them and shall overcome them.

¹⁷ And the dragon was enraged at the woman, and he went to make war with the remnant of her seed, who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus.

¹ AND I looked, and, lo, the Lamb stood on mount Sion, and with him a hundred forty and four thousand in number, having the name of his Father written on their brows. ² Then I heard a voice from heaven, as the sound of many waters, and as the sound of a great thunder: and the voice I heard was as the music of many harpists playing on their harps: ³ And they sang a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts and the elders: and no man was able to learn that song, except the hundred forty and four thousand who were redeemed from the earth. ⁴ These are those who were not defiled with women for they are virgins. These are those who follow the Lamb wheresoever he goes. These were redeemed by Jesus, from among men, to be the first fruits to God and to the Lamb.

² And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and those who were victorious over the beast, and over his image, and over the number of his name, were standing on the sea of glass, and had the harps of God. ³ And they were singing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are your works, LORD God Almighty; just and true are your ways, O King of ages.

¹⁰ And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said to me, Do not do that: I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

⁴ And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given to them: and the souls of those who were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and who had not worshipped the wild beast, neither his image, nor had received his mark upon their foreheads or on their hand, lived and reigned with their Christ these thousand years. * But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished.

¹⁴ Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace and good hope for men.

¹⁰ I say to you, that such will be the joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents.

³⁷ For the time is all too short, and he who is to come will come, and will not delay.

⁸ But, my beloved, do not forget this one thing, that one day is with the LORD as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

¹³ And I beheld, and heard an eagle having a tail red as it were blood, flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe to those who dwell on the earth, by reason of the other sounds of the trumpets of the three angels which are yet to sound!

¹² The first woe is passed; and behold, two more woes follow after.

⁶ Swore by him who lives for ever and ever, who created heaven and the things which are therein, and the earth and the things which are therein, and the sea and the things which are therein, that there should be no more reckoning of time:

¹⁰ And those who dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented those who dwelt on the earth.

¹⁴ The second woe is passed; and behold, the third woe comes quickly.

²⁰ Rejoice over her, O heaven, and angels, apostles, and prophets, for God has avenged you on her.

³ And there appeared another sign in heaven; and behold, there was a great dragon of fire, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. ⁴ And his tail cut off a third of the stars of heaven and cast them to the earth; and the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to be delivered, so as to devour her child as soon as it was born. ⁵ And she brought forth a male child, who was to shepherd all the nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up to God, and to his throne. ⁶ And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she had a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there a thousand and two hundred and three score days.

³ So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet wild beast inscribed with many words of blasphemy and having seven heads and ten horns.

¹⁵ Then he said to me, The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

²⁰ And teach them to obey everything that I have commanded you; and, behold, I am with you all the days, to the end of the world. Amen.

¹ AND I, my brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellency of speech, nor did I preach to you with learning the mystery of God.

³ And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

² And by this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

¹⁰ He who believes on the Son of God has this testimony in himself: he who does not believe God, has made him a liar; because he does not believe the record that God gave of his Son.

¹¹ And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they did not spare themselves even unto death. ¹² Therefore rejoice, O ye heavens and you who dwell in them. Woe to the inhabitants of the earth, and of the sea! for the Devil has come down to you; and his wrath is great, because he knows that his time is short.

¹² Here is the patience of the saints: here are they who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

⁶ And I saw that the woman was drunk with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great amazement.

¹⁴ They will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall conquer them: for he is LORD of lords, and King of kings; and those who are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

¹⁹ Then I saw the wild beast and the kings of the earth, and their armies gathered together to fight against him who sat on the horse, and against his armies.

⁸ And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, even to China and Mongolia, to gather them together for war: the number of them is as the sand of the sea. ⁹ And they went up on a broad plain, and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven and consumed them.

¹⁴ Blessed are those who do his commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
