⁵ And there shall be no night there; and they shall neither need a candle, nor the light of the sun; for the LORD God shines on them: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

³⁴ Then the King will say to those at his right, Come, you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom which has been prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

⁴⁶ And these shall go into everlasting torment, and the righteous into eternal life.

¹⁷ For if by one manÆs offence, death reigned, how much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.

¹² If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:

³ Blessed be God, the Father of our LORD Jesus Christ, who by his abundant mercy has again renewed us spiritually to a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, ⁴ To an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled, that does not fade away, and is prepared in heaven for you,

²¹ To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with me on my throne, even as I also overcame, and have sat down with my Father on his throne.

¹⁵ And the seventh angel sounded, and there were great sounds of thunders, saying, The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdom of our LORD, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

²³ And the light of a lamp shall shine no more at all in you; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in you: for your merchants were the great men of the earth; for by your sorceries were all peoples deceived.

⁴ And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given to them: and the souls of those who were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and who had not worshipped the wild beast, neither his image, nor had received his mark upon their foreheads or on their hand, lived and reigned with their Christ these thousand years. * But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished.

²² But I saw no temple therein: for the LORD Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. ²³ The city has no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God lightens it, and the Lamb is the lamp of it. ²⁴ And the people who have been saved shall walk by that very light: and the kings of the earth shall bring their own glory and the honor of the people into it. ²⁵ And the gates of it shall not be barred by day: for there is no night there.
