³ The Eternal is the Lord of war; the Eternal is his name.

¹³ And Moses said unto God, Behold, if I come unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they then say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?

¹⁵ And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The Everlasting One, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

² And God spoke unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the Lord: ³ And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God, the Almighty, but by my name The Eternal was I not made known to them.

⁶ Therefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the Eternal, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will release you from their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm, and with great judgments: ⁷ And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you for a God; and ye shall know that I am the Lord your God, who bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. ⁸ And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning which I did lift up my hand to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for a heritage: I am the Lord.

¹⁴ The Lord will fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

⁸ Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.

⁸ I am the Everlasting One, that is my name; and my glory will I not give to any other, nor my praise to graven images.
