² And he looked, and behold there was a well in the field, and, lo, there were three flocks of sheep lying by it; for out of that well they watered the flocks: and the stone upon the mouth of the well was great.

¹¹ And he made the camels to kneel down without the city by a well of water at the time of the evening, at the time that the women go out to draw water.

¹³ Behold, I stand by the well of water: and the daughters of the men of the city come out to draw water.

¹⁵ And Pharaoh heard this thing, and he sought to slay Moses; but Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh, and tarried in the land of Midian, and he sat down by a well. ¹⁶ Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters; and they came and drew water, and filled the troughs to water their father’s flock.

¹⁰ They shall not be hungry nor thirsty, and neither heat nor sun shall smite them; for he that hath mercy on them will lead them, and by springs of water will he guide them.
