⁷ When I went out to the gate close by the city, when in the open place I established my seat:

¹⁸ Judges and officers shalt thou appoint unto thyself in all thy gates, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, throughout thy tribes: and they shall judge the people with a just judgment.

¹⁹ Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place;

¹ But Bo’az went up to the gate, and sat down there; and, behold, the kinsman of whom Bo’az had spoken came passing by; and he said unto him, Turn aside hither, sit down here, such a one.
