²⁰ Wherefore giveth He now light to the labor-laden, and life unto the bitter in soul?

¹⁰ But she had bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the Lord, and wept greatly.

²⁷ And she came to the man of God to the mount, and caught hold of his feet; and Gechazi came near to thrust her away; but the man of God said, Let her alone; for her soul is grieved within her; and the Lord hath hidden it from me, and hath not told it me.

²⁸ Thus he redeemeth his soul from passing into the pit, and his life will look joyously on the light.

⁶ Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those who have an embittered soul.
