^{10 (4:4)} And Judah said, The strength of the bearers of the burden is failing, and there is much rubbish; and we are not able to build on the wall.

³¹ But the men who had gone up with him said, We are not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.

⁹ For they went up as far as the valley of Eshcol, and they saw the land, and then they turned aside the heart of the children of Israel, so that they would not go into the land which the Lord had given them.
