⁹ And the Lord will be king over all the earth: on that day shall the Lord be acknowledged one, and his name be one.

¹⁰ The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet; until Shiloh come, and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.

⁴ Hear, O Israel! The Lord, our God, is the One Eternal Being.

¹⁰ The Lord—his adversaries will be crushed; out of heaven will he thunder upon them: the Lord will judge the ends of the earth; and he will give strength unto his king, and lift up the horn of his anointed.

⁶ Saying, Yet have I appointed my king upon Zion my holy mount. ⁷ I will announce the decree, the Lord hath said unto me, “My son art thou: I have indeed this day begotten thee. ⁸ Ask it of me, and I will give thee nations for an inheritance, and for thy possession the uttermost ends of the earth.

⁸ And he shall have dominion from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth. ⁹ Before him shall bend down those that dwell in the wilderness; and his enemies shall lick the dust. ¹⁰ The kings of Tharshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts. ¹¹ Yea, there shall bow down before him all kings: all nations shall serve him.

¹⁷ His name will endure for ever; in the presence of the sun his name shall flourish: and men shall bless themselves with him: all nations shall call him happy.

⁹ All the nations whom thou hast made shall come and bow themselves down before thee, O Lord; and they shall ascribe honor unto thy name.

² And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be firmly established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and unto it shall flow all the nations. ³ And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; that he may teach us of his ways, and we may walk in his paths; for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord out of Jerusalem. ⁴ And he will judge among the nations, and decide for many people; and they shall beat their swords into ploughshares, and their spears into pruning-knives: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, and they shall not learn any more war.

²² Turn unto me, so that ye may be helped, all ye ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no one else. ²³ By myself have I sworn, righteousness is gone out of my mouth, a word which shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bend, every tongue shall swear. ²⁴ Only in the Lord,—shall men say of me,—there are righteousness and strength. Unto him shall come and be ashamed all that are incensed against him. ²⁵ In the Lord shall be justified, and shall glory themselves all the seed of Israel.

⁶ And he said, It is too light a thing that thou shouldst be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to bring back the preserved of Israel! but I will also appoint thee for a light to the nations, that my salvation may reach as far as the end of the earth. ⁷ Thus hath said the Lord, the Redeemer of Israel, his Holy One, to him who is despised by men, to him who is abhorred by nations, to the servant of rulers, Kings shall see it and rise up, princes, and they shall prostrate themselves, for the sake of the Lord, who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel, who hath made choice of thee.

⁵ For thy husband is thy Maker, the Lord of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel, “The God of all the earth,” shall he be called.

¹² For the nation and the kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; and the nations shall be utterly destroyed. ¹³ The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir, the cypress, and the box together, to adorn the place of my sanctuary, and the resting place of my feet will I glorify. ¹⁴ And then shall come unto thee bent down the sons of those who afflicted thee, and there shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet all thy revilers; and they shall call thee, The city of the Lord, Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

⁶ In his days shall Judah be helped, and Israel shall dwell in safety: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, The Lord is our righteousness.

⁴⁴ But in the days of these kings will the God of heaven set up a kingdom: which shall to eternity not be destroyed, and its rule shall not be transferred to any other people; but it will grind up and make an end of all these kingdoms, while it will itself endure for ever. ⁴⁵ Whereas thou sawest that out of the mountain a stone tore itself loose, not through human hands, and that it ground up the iron, the copper, the clay, the silver, and the gold: the great God hath made known to the king what is to come to pass after this. And the dream is reliable, and its interpretation certain.

²⁷ And the kingdom and the dominion, and the power over the kingdoms under the whole heaven, will be given to the people of the saints of the Most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all governments are to worship and obey him.

¹² In order that they may take possession of the remnant of Edom, and of all the nations, which are called by my name, saith the Lord that doth this.

¹ And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be firmly established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and unto it shall people flow. ² And many nations shall come, and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob; that he may teach us of his ways, and we may walk in his paths; for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord out of Jerusalem. ³ And he shall judge between many people, and decide for strong nations even afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plough-shares, and their spears into pruning-knives: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, and they shall not learn any more war.

^{4 (5:3)} And he shall stand forward and feed Israel through the strength of the Lord, through the excellency of the name of the Lord his God: and they shall abide safely; for now shall he be great even unto the ends of the earth.

⁹ Yea then will I change unto the people a pure language, that they may all call on the name of the Lord, to serve him with one accord.

²⁰ Thus hath said the Lord of hosts, A time shall yet be when there shall come people, and the inhabitants of many cities; ²¹ And the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us only go to pray before the Lord, and to seek the Lord of hosts: I too will likewise go. ²² And many people and strong nations shall come to seek the Lord of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the Lord. ²³ Thus hath said the Lord of hosts, In those days it shall happen, that ten men out of all the languages of the nations shall take hold—yea, they shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, Let us go with you; for we have heard that God is with you.

¹⁶ And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left out of all the nations who will have come against Jerusalem, yea, these shall go up year by year to bow down before the King, the Lord of hosts, and to celebrate the feast of tabernacles. ¹⁷ And it shall happen, that whoso will not come up out of the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to bow down before the King, the Lord of hosts,—even upon these there shall be no rain.
