¹¹ And behold, Amariah the chief priest is over you in all matters of Jehovah. And Zebadiah the son of Ishmael is the ruler of the house of Judah for all the king's matters. Also the Levites shall be officers before you. Take courage and act, and Jehovah shall be with the good.

¹⁹ And he set the gatekeepers at the gates of the house of Jehovah, so that the unclean in any way could not go in.

²⁴ And he took all the gold and the silver, and all the vessels which were found in the house of God with Obed-edom, and the treasures of the king's house, the hostages also, and returned to Samaria.

¹⁷ And Azariah the priest went in after him, and with him eighty priests of Jehovah, mighty men.

¹¹ And Hezekiah commanded storehouses to be prepared in the house of Jehovah. And they prepared, ¹² and brought in the offerings and the tithes and the things dedicated to God faithfully. And over them was Cononiah the Levite ruler, and Shimei his brother the next.

¹³ and over the bearers of burdens, and overseers of all who worked the work in any manner of service. And of the Levites were scribes and officers and gatekeepers.

⁶⁹ They gave according to their ability to the treasure of the work, sixty one thousand drachmas of gold, and five thousand minas of silver, and one hundred priest's garments.

³² Also we put commands upon ourselves, to charge ourselves yearly with the third part of a shekel for the service of the house of our God, ³³ for the showbread, and for the continual meal offering, and for the continual burnt offering, of the sabbaths, of the new moons, for the set feasts, and for the holy things, and for the sin offerings to make an atonement for Israel, and for all the work of the house of our God. ³⁴ And we cast the lots among the priests, and the Levites, and the people, for the wood offering, to bring into the house of our God, according to the houses of our fathers, at times appointed year by year, to burn upon the altar of Jehovah our God, as it is written in the Law

³⁸ And the priest, the son of Aaron, shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take tithes, and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes to the house of our God, to the rooms, into the treasure house.

¹⁴ and their brothers, mighty men of power, were a hundred and twenty-eight. And their overseer was Zabdiel, the son of one of the great men.

¹⁶ And Shabbethai and Jozabad, of the chief of the Levites, were over the outward business of the house of God.

²⁴ And the chief of the Levites were Hashabiah, Sherebiah; and Jeshua the son of Kadmiel, with their brothers next to them, to praise and to give thanks, according to the command of David the man of God, watch by watch.

⁹ On account of this I will weep with the weeping of Jazer, the vine of Sibmah. I will water you with my tears, O Heshbon and Elealeh; for the shouting has fallen on your fruit and on your harvest.

¹⁰ Bring all the tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house. And test Me now with this, says Jehovah of Hosts, to see if I will not open the windows of Heaven for you, and pour out a blessing for you, until there is not enough room.

¹⁵ And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to each according to his ability. And he went abroad at once.

⁴ But there are differences of gifts, but the same Spirit. ⁵ And there are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. ⁶ And there are differences of workings, but it is the same God working all things in all. ⁷ But to each one is given the showing forth of the Spirit to our profit. ⁸ For through the Spirit is given to one a word of wisdom; and to another a word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit; ⁹ and to another faith by the same Spirit; and to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; ¹⁰ and to another workings of powers, to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; and to another kinds of tongues; and to another the interpretation of tongues. ¹¹ But the one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing separately to each one as He desires.

⁶ who also has made us able ministers of the new covenant; not of the letter, but of the spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit makes alive.

¹² Fight the good fight of faith. Lay hold on eternal life, to which you are also called and have professed a good profession before many witnesses.

³ Therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

¹¹ If anyone speaks, let it be as the words of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as of the ability which God gives, so that God may be glorified in all things through Jesus Christ, to whom is the glory, and the might forever and ever. Amen.
