⁸ in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God and who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ,

²⁴ And He drove out the man. And He placed cherubs at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.

² And Pharaoh said, Who is Jehovah, that I should obey His voice to let Israel go? I do not know Jehovah, neither will I let Israel go.

¹¹ And you came near and stood under the mountain. And the mountain burned with fire to the midst of heaven, with darkness, clouds, and thick darkness.

³⁰ When you are in trouble and when all these things have found you in the latter days, then you shall return to Jehovah your God and shall be obedient to His voice.

⁵ (I stood between Jehovah and you at that time, to show you the Word of Jehovah, for you were afraid because of the fire, and did not go up into the mountain,) saying,

³⁵ Vengeance and retribution belong to Me. Their foot shall slide in time, for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come on them make haste.

⁴¹ If I sharpen My glittering sword, and if My hand takes hold in judgment, I will give vengeance to My enemies and will reward those that hate Me. ⁴² I will make My arrows drunk with blood, and My sword shall devour flesh, with the blood of the slain and of the captives, from the hairy scalp of the enemy.

¹² And the sons of Eli were sons of Belial. They did not know Jehovah.

⁹ You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. ¹⁰ And now be wise, O kings; be instructed, O judges of the earth. ¹¹ Serve Jehovah with fear, and rejoice with trembling. ¹² Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish from the way, when His wrath is kindled in but a little time. Blessed are all who put their trust in Him.

¹⁰ And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; for You, Jehovah, have not forsaken those who seek You.

⁴⁴ As soon as they hear of Me, they shall obey Me; the sons of strangers shall bow down to Me.

⁸ Your hand shall find out all Your enemies; Your right hand shall find out those who hate You. ⁹ You shall make them as a fiery oven in the time of Your presence; Jehovah will swallow them up in His wrath, and the fire shall devour them.

² Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God has shone. ³ Our God comes, and He is not silent; a fire shall devour before Him, and it shall be very stormy all around Him. ⁴ He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, so that He may judge His people. ⁵ Gather My saints to Me; and those who cut My covenant by sacrifice. ⁶ And the heavens shall declare His righteousness; for God Himself is judge. Selah.

⁶ Pour out Your wrath on the nations who have not known You, and on the kingdoms who have not called on Your name.

¹ O God of vengeance, Jehovah, the God of vengeance, shine forth!

¹⁹ If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land;

¹¹ When its branches are dried up, they shall be broken off; the women come and set them on fire; for it is a people of no understanding. Therefore His Maker will not have mercy on them, and He who formed them will not favor them.

² to preach the acceptable year of Jehovah and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn;

⁴ For the day of vengeance is in My heart, and the year of My redeemed has come. ⁵ And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was no one to uphold; therefore My own arm has saved for Me; and My fury upheld Me. ⁶ And I will tread down the people in My anger, and make them drunk in My fury, and I will pour their juice to the earth.

⁶ Your dwelling is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know Me, says Jehovah.

¹⁰ A stream of fire went out and came out from before Him. A thousand thousands served Him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him. The judgment was set, and the books were opened.

⁶ and those drawing back from Jehovah, and who have not sought Jehovah, nor asked for Him.

⁴¹ Then He also shall say to those on the left hand, Depart from Me, you cursed, into everlasting fire prepared for the Devil and his angels.

⁴⁶ And these shall go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into everlasting life.

¹⁹ And this is the condemnation, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than the Light, because their deeds were evil.

¹⁹ Then they said to Him, Where is your father? Jesus said to them, You neither know Me nor My Father. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also.

⁷ And the Word of God was increasing. And the number of the disciples in Jerusalem was multiplying exceedingly; even a great crowd of the priests obeyed the faith.

⁵ by whom we have received grace and apostleship, to obedience to the faith among all nations, for His name;

²⁸ And even as they did not think fit to have God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do the things not right,

⁷ indeed to those who with patience in good work are seeking for glory, and honor, and incorruptibility, everlasting life. ⁸ But to those who indeed disobeying the truth out of self-seeking, and obeying unrighteousness, will be anger and wrath,

¹⁶ Do you not know that to whom you yield yourselves as slaves for obedience, you are slaves to him whom you obey; whether it is of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness.

¹⁶ But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our report?"

¹⁸ For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ did not work out by me for the obedience of the nations in word and deed,

²⁶ but now has been made plain, and by the prophetic Scriptures, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith;

³⁴ Be righteously awake, and sin not; for some have ignorance of God. I speak this to your shame.

⁵ pulling down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought into the obedience of Christ;

¹ O foolish Galatians, who bewitched you not to obey the truth, to whom before your eyes Jesus Christ was written among you crucified?

⁸ But then, indeed, not knowing God, you served as slaves to those not by nature being gods.

⁵ (not in the passion of lust, even as the nations who do not know God),

³ how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by those who heard Him;

⁹ And being perfected, He became the Author of eternal salvation to all those who obey Him,

²⁷ but a certain fearful looking for judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

³⁰ For we know Him who has said, "Vengeance belongs to Me, I will repay, says the Lord." And again, "The Lord shall judge His people."

⁸ By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out into a place which he was afterward going to receive for an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he went.

²⁹ for also, "Our God is a consuming fire."

² according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, to obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ. May grace and peace be multiplied to you.

⁶ as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord; whose children you became, doing good and fearing no terror.

¹⁷ For the time has come for the judgment to begin from the house of God. And if it first begins from us, what will be the end of those disobeying the gospel of God?

⁷ But the present heavens and the earth being kept in store by the same Word, are being kept for fire until the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.

¹⁰ But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a rushing noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat. And the earth and the works in it will be burned up. ¹¹ Then, all these things being about to be dissolved, what sort ought you to be in holy behavior and godliness, ¹² looking for and rushing the coming of the Day of God, on account of which the heavens, being on fire, will melt away, and the elements will melt, burning with heat?

¹⁰ And they cried with a loud voice, saying, Until when, Master, holy and true, do You not judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?

¹⁶ And they said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him sitting on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb; ¹⁷ for the great day of His wrath has come, and who will be able to stand?

¹⁰ And the Devil who deceived them was cast into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet were . And he will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

¹⁴ And death and hell were cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death. ¹⁵ And if anyone was not found having been written in the Book of Life, he was cast into the Lake of Fire.

⁸ But the fearful, and the unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, will have their part in the Lake burning with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.
