¹⁶ All Scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,

³⁶ He made you hear His voice out of Heaven so that He might teach you. And He showed you His great fire upon earth. And you heard His words out of the midst of the fire.

² The Spirit of Jehovah spoke by me, and His Word was in my tongue.

²⁰ You also gave Your good Spirit to teach them, and did not withhold Your manna from their mouth, and gave them water for their thirst.

⁷ The Law of Jehovah is perfect, converting the soul; the testimony of Jehovah is sure, making the simple wise. ⁸ The Precepts of Jehovah are right, rejoicing the heart; the Commandments of Jehovah are pure, giving light to the eyes. ⁹ The fear of Jehovah is clean, enduring forever; the judgments of Jehovah are true and righteous altogether, ¹⁰ more to be desired than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. ¹¹ And Your servant is warned by them; in keeping them there is great reward.

⁹ BETH: With what shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your Word.

¹¹ I have hidden Your Word in my heart, so that I might not sin against You.

⁹⁷ MEM: Oh how I love Your Law! It is my meditation all the day. ⁹⁸ Through Your Commandments You make me wiser than my enemies, for they are ever with me. ⁹⁹ I have more understanding than all my teachers; for Your testimonies are my prayer. ¹⁰⁰ I understand more than the old men, because I keep Your Commandments. ¹⁰¹ I have kept my feet from every evil way, so that I might keep Your Word. ¹⁰² I have not departed from Your judgments; for You have taught me. ¹⁰³ How sweet are Your Words to my taste! More than honey to my mouth! ¹⁰⁴ Through Your Commandments I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way.

¹³⁰ The entrance of Your Words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.

²³ For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life;

¹⁰ Correction is grievous to him who forsakes the way; he who hates reproof shall die.

³¹ The ear that hears the reproof of life shall remain among the wise.

⁷ House of Jacob, it is said, The Spirit of Jehovah is limited, if these are His doings. Do not My words do good to him who walks uprightly?

⁵² Then He said to them, Therefore every scribe who is instructed to the kingdom of Heaven is like a man who is a householder, who brings out things new and old out of his treasure.

⁴² Jesus said to them, Did you never read in the Scriptures, "The stone which the builders rejected, this One has become the head of the corner; this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes?"

³¹ But regarding the resurrection of the dead, have you not read that which was spoken to you by God, saying, ³² "I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?" God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

⁴³ He said to them, How then does David by the Spirit call him Lord, saying,

⁵⁴ But how then shall the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must be so?

⁵⁶ But all this happened that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples fled, forsaking Him.

²⁴ And answering Jesus said to them, Do you not err because of this, not knowing Scriptures, nor the power of God?

³⁶ For David himself said by the Holy Spirit: "The LORD said to my Lord, Sit at My right hand until I place Your enemies as Your footstool."

²⁰ For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light, lest his deeds should be exposed.

³⁵ If He called those gods with whom the Word of God was, and the Scripture cannot be broken,

¹⁶ Men, brothers, this Scripture must have been fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit by the mouth of David spoke before concerning Judas, who became guide to those who seized Jesus.

²⁵ This man was instructed in the way of the Lord. And being fervent in the spirit, he spoke and taught the things of the Lord diligently, knowing only the baptism of John.

²⁰ and how I kept back nothing that was profitable, but have shown you and have taught you publicly, and from house to house,

²⁷ For I did not keep back from declaring to you all the counsel of God.

²⁵ And disagreeing with one another, they were let go, Paul saying one word: Well did the Holy Spirit speak through Isaiah the prophet to our fathers,

²⁰ an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, who have the form of knowledge and of the truth in the Law.

² Much, by every way! Chiefly, indeed, because they were entrusted with the oracles of God.

²³ Now it was not written for him alone that it was imputed to him,

⁴ For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, so that we through patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.

⁷ But to each one is given the showing forth of the Spirit to our profit.

⁸ And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the nations through faith, preached the gospel before to Abraham, saying, "In you shall all nations be blessed."

¹¹ And truly He gave some to be apostles, and some to be prophets, and some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, ¹² for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. ¹³ And this until we all come into the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a full-grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; ¹⁴ so that we no longer may be infants, tossed to and fro and carried about by every wind of doctrine, in the dishonesty of men, in cunning craftiness, to the wiles of deceit. ¹⁵ But that you, speaking the truth in love, may in all things grow up to Him who is the Head, even Christ; ¹⁶ from whom the whole body, fitted together and compacted by that which every joint supplies, according to the effectual working in the measure of each part, producing the growth of the body to the edifying of itself in love.

¹¹ And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. ¹² For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. ¹³ But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light.

²⁵ in meekness instructing those who oppose, if perhaps God will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth,

² preach the Word, be instant in season and out of season, reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine.

⁷ Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, "Today if you will hear His voice,

¹² For the Word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing apart of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

¹ Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

¹⁹ We also have a more sure Word of prophecy, to which you do well to take heed, as to a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the Daystar arises in your hearts, ²⁰ knowing this first, that no prophecy of the Scripture came into being of its own private interpretation. ²¹ For prophecy was not borne at any time by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke being borne along by the Holy Spirit.
