⁵ The sun also arises, and the sun goes down, and hurries to its place where it arose.

²² While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

¹³ And the sun stood still, and the moon stood still, until the people had avenged themselves on their enemies. Is this not written in the Book of Jasher? And the sun stood still in the midst of the heavens, and did not hasten to go down about a whole day. ¹⁴ And there was no day like that before it or after it, that Jehovah listened to the voice of a man. ⁴ Their line has gone out through all the earth and their words to the end of the world. In them He has set a tabernacle for the sun, ⁵ and he comes forth as a bridegroom from his canopy; he rejoices as a strong man to run a race, ⁶ going forth from the end of the heavens, and its course is to their ends.
