²¹ I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness is through law, then Christ died without cause.

⁹ And He said to them, Do you do well to set aside the commandment of God, so that you may keep your own tradition?

³¹ What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

³ For they, being ignorant of God's righteousness and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves to the righteousness of God.

⁶ But if by grace, then it is no more of works; otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it is of works, then it is no more of grace; otherwise work is no more work.

² by which you also are being kept safe, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain.

¹⁴ And if Christ has not been raised, then our proclamation is worthless, and your faith is also worthless.

²¹ Is the Law then against the promises of God? Let it not be said! For if a law had been given which could have given life, indeed righteousness would have been out of Law.

² Behold, I, Paul, say to you that if you are circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. ³ For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do all the Law, ⁴ you who are justified by Law are deprived of all effect from Christ; you fell from grace.

¹¹ Therefore if perfection were by the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the Law), what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchizedek, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
