¹ Now the sum of the things which we have spoken is this: We have such a High Priest, who has sat down on the right of the throne of the Majesty in Heaven, ² a Minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man. ³ For every high priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices. Therefore it is necessary that this One have something to offer also. ⁴ For if indeed He were on earth, He would not be a priest, since there are priests who offer gifts according to the Law, ⁵ who serve the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was warned of God when he was about to make the tabernacle. For, He says "See that you make all things according to the pattern shown to you in the mountain." ⁶ But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, by so much He is also the Mediator of a better covenant, which was built upon better promises. ⁷ For if that first covenant had been without fault, then no place would have been sought for the second. ⁸ For finding fault with them, He said to them, "Behold, days are coming, says the Lord, and I will make an end on the house of Israel and on the house of Judah; a new covenant shall be, ⁹ not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day I took hold of their hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt," because they did not continue in My covenant, and I did not regard them, says the Lord. ¹⁰ "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My Laws into their mind and write them in their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. ¹¹ And they shall not each man teach his neighbor, and each man his brother, saying, Know the Lord, for all shall know Me, from the least to the greatest. ¹² For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities I will remember no more." ¹³ In that He says, A new covenant, He has made the first one old. Now that which decays and becomes old is ready to vanish away.

⁷ And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your seed after you in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God to you and to your seed after you. ⁸ And I will give the land to you in which you are a stranger, and to your seed after you, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession. And I will be their God.

¹³ Yet you have forsaken Me and served other gods; therefore, I will deliver you no more. ¹⁴ Go and cry to the gods which you have chosen. Let them deliver you in the time of your tribulation.

²⁷ And the king of Assyria commanded, saying, Cause one of the priests whom you removed from there to go there. And they shall go and live there, and he shall teach them the way of the God of the land. ²⁸ And one of the priests whom they had removed from Samaria came and lived in Bethel. And he taught them how they should fear Jehovah.

⁹ And you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father and serve Him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind. For Jehovah searches all hearts and understands all the imaginations of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you. But if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever.

⁵ And the land is defiled under its people; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, and have broken the everlasting covenant. ⁶ Therefore the curse has devoured the earth, and they who dwell in it are deserted; therefore the people of the earth are burned, and few men left.

¹⁴ They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of Jehovah, they shall cry aloud from the sea.

⁵ Behold, the days come, says Jehovah, that I will raise to David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and act wisely, and shall do judgment and justice in the earth.

⁷ Therefore, behold, the days come, says Jehovah, that they shall no more say, Jehovah lives, who brought the sons of Israel up out of the land of Egypt;

I will bring them out from the land where they reside, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel. And you shall know that I am Jehovah.

³⁰ And they shall know that I, Jehovah their God, am with them, and they, the house of Israel, are My people, says the Lord Jehovah.

And I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. ²⁷ And I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you shall keep My judgments and do them. ²⁸ And you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers. And you shall be My people, and I will be your God.

²⁶ And I will cut a covenant of peace with them. It shall be an everlasting covenant with them. And I will place them, and multiply them, and will set My sanctuary in their midst forever. ²⁷ And My tabernacle shall be with them. Yea, I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

²² Though you offer Me burnt offerings and your food offerings, I will not be pleased. Nor will I regard the peace offerings of your fat animals.

⁴ And He shall stand and feed in the strength of Jehovah, in the majesty of the name of Jehovah His God. And they shall sit, for now He shall be great to the ends of the earth.

¹⁹ He will turn again; He will have pity on us. He will trample our iniquities. Yea, You will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

¹⁴ For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of Jehovah, as the waters cover the sea.

⁸ And I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. And they shall be My people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.
