⁷ And He will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering which covers all people, and the veil that is woven over all nations.

¹ Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of Jehovah has risen on you. ² For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the peoples; but Jehovah shall rise on you, and His glory shall be seen on you. ³ And the nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawning.

⁵¹ And, behold! The veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. And the earth quaked, and the rocks were sheared,

³² a light for revelation to the nations, and the glory of Your people Israel.

³⁰ Truly, then, God overlooking the times of ignorance, now He strictly commands all men everywhere to repent,

¹³ And we are not like Moses, who put a veil over his face so that the sons of Israel could not steadfastly look to the end of the thing being done away. ¹⁴ (But their thoughts were blinded; for until the present the same veil remains on the reading of the old covenant, not taken away.) But this veil has been done away in Christ. ¹⁵ But until this day, when Moses is read, the veil is on their heart. ¹⁶ But whenever it turns to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away. ¹⁷ And the Lord is that Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. ¹⁸ But we all, with our face having been unveiled, having beheld the glory of the Lord as in a mirror, are being changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Lord Spirit.

⁵ which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it is now revealed to His holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit, ⁶ that the nations should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and partaker of His promise in Christ through the gospel.

¹⁸ having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart.

⁸ For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light

⁸ the Holy Spirit signifying by this that the way into the Holiest of all was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing.
