² And a man shall be as a hiding place from the wind, and a shelter from the tempest, like streams of water in a dry place, like the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.

² Bow down Your ear to me; deliver me quickly; be my strong rock, a fortress to save me. ³ For You are my rock and my fortress; and for Your name's sake lead me and guide me.

⁷ You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall circle me with songs of deliverance. Selah.

¹ A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, You are my God; I will seek You earnestly; my soul thirsts for You; my flesh longs for You, as in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;

⁹ Deliver me, O Jehovah, from my enemies; I flee to You to hide me.

³ Do not put your trust in princes, nor in the son of man in whom there is no salvation. ⁴ His breath goes forth; he returns to the earth; in that very day his thoughts perish. ⁵ Blessed is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose help is in Jehovah his God,

⁵ And Jehovah will create over all the site of Mount Zion, and on her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for on all the glory shall be a defense. ⁶ And there shall be a booth for a shade by day from the heat, and for a refuge, and for a hiding place from storm and rain.

¹⁴ So, the Lord Himself shall give you a sign. Behold, the virgin will conceive and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call His name Immanuel.

¹⁰ Counsel a counsel, and it is frustrated. Speak a word, and it shall not stand; for God is with us. ¹¹ For so Jehovah spoke to me with a strong hand, and warned me against walking in the way of this people, saying, ¹² Do not say, A conspiracy! to everything of which this people says, A conspiracy! ⁶ For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be on His shoulder; and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

⁴ For You are a stronghold to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the fearful ones is like a storm against the wall.

²⁰ Come, my people, enter into your rooms and shut your doors around you; hide for a little moment, until the fury has passed by. ²¹ For behold, Jehovah comes out of His place to punish the people of the earth for their iniquity; the earth also shall reveal her blood, and shall no more cover her dead.

¹⁷ Also I will lay judgment to the line, and righteousness to the plummet; and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.

¹⁸ And my people shall dwell in a peaceable home, and in secure dwellings and quiet resting places. ¹⁹ Though it hails, when the forest is felled, and the city laid low.

⁶ Then the lame shall leap like a deer, and the tongue of the dumb shall sing; for in the wilderness waters shall break out, and streams in the desert. ⁷ And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land shall become springs of water in the home of jackals, in its lair, and a place for the reed and rush.

¹⁸ I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.

²⁰ The beasts of the field shall honor Me, the jackals and the ostriches; because I give waters in the wilderness, rivers in the desert, to give drink to My people, My chosen.

³ For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and floods on the dry ground. I will pour My spirit on your seed, and My blessing on your offspring;

⁴ And He shall stand and feed in the strength of Jehovah, in the majesty of the name of Jehovah His God. And they shall sit, for now He shall be great to the ends of the earth. ⁵ And this One shall be peace. When Assyria shall come into our land; and when he shall walk in our palaces, then we shall raise against him seven shepherds and eight anointed ones from men.

⁷ Awake, O sword, against My Shepherd, and against the Man who is My companion, says Jehovah of Hosts; strike the Shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered. And I will turn My hand on the little ones.

²⁴ Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock. ²⁵ And the rain came down, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house. And it did not fall, for it was founded on a rock. ²⁶ And everyone who hears these sayings of Mine and does not do them shall be compared to a foolish man who built his house on the sand. ²⁷ And the rain came down, and the floods came, and the wind blew and beat on that house. And it fell, and great was its fall.

³⁷ And in the last day of the great feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.

¹⁶ And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among nations, believed on in the world, and received up into glory.

¹ And he showed me a pure river of Water of Life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
