²⁴ Behold, you are of nothing, and your work of nothing. He who chooses you is an abomination.

²⁶ And you shall not bring an abomination into your house, lest you be a cursed thing like it. You shall utterly hate it, and you shall utterly despise it. For it is a cursed thing.

¹⁵ Cursed is the man that makes any graven or molten image, an abomination to Jehovah, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and puts it in a secret place. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen.

⁸ The ones who make them are like them, and everyone who trusts in them.

¹⁹ and have cast their gods into the fire, for they were no gods, but the work of men's hands, wood and stone; so they have destroyed them.

²⁹ Behold, they are all evil; their works are nothing; their images are wind and vanity.

⁹ Those who make a graven image are all of them vanity; and the things in which they delight shall not help; and they are their own witnesses. They do not see nor know, that they may be ashamed. ¹⁰ Who has formed a god, or melted a graven image that is good for nothing?

²⁴ And they will go out and see the dead bodies of the men who have sinned against Me; for their worm will not die, nor will their fire be put out; and they will be an object of disgust to all flesh.

⁸ But they are all at once foolish and animal-like; the tree is an example of vanities.

¹⁴ Every man is stupid for lack of knowledge; every refiner is put to shame by the graven image; for his molten image is a lie, and no breath is in them.

¹⁷ Every man is brutish in knowledge; every refiner is put to shame by idols. For his molded image is a lie, and no breath is in them. ¹⁸ They are vanity, the work of errors; in the time of their judgment they shall perish.

⁴ Then concerning the eating of the things sacrificed to idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no other God except one.
