¹³ And you say, What does God know? Can He judge through the dark cloud?

¹¹ He has said in his heart, God has forgotten; He hides His face; He will not see forever!

⁷ Behold, they bellow out with their mouth; swords are in their lips; for they say, Who hears?

⁵ They encourage themselves in an evil plan; they talk of laying snares secretly; they say, Who shall see them?

¹¹ And they say, How does God know? And is there knowledge in the Most High?

⁷ Yet they say, Jehovah shall not see, nor shall the God of Jacob observe it. ⁸ Understand, you beastly ones among the people; and fools, when will you be wise? ⁹ He who planted the ear, shall He not hear? He who formed the eye, shall He not see?

¹⁵ Woe to those who go deep to hide their purpose from Jehovah! And their works are in the dark, and they say, Who sees us? And who knows us?

¹² And He said to me, Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, each man in his image room? For they are saying, Jehovah does not see us; Jehovah has forsaken the earth.

⁹ And He said to me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is great, and the land is full of blood, and the city is full of perversity. For they say, Jehovah has forsaken the land; and, Jehovah does not see.

¹² And it shall be in that time I will search Jerusalem with lamps, and punish the men who are settled on their lees; who say in their heart, Jehovah will not do good, nor will He do evil.
