¹⁹ How much less to Him who does not lift up the face of rulers, nor regard the rich before the poor? For all of them are the work of His hands.

¹⁵ You shall do no unrighteousness in judgment. You shall not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty; but you shall judge your neighbor in righteousness.

¹⁷ For Jehovah your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, the mighty, and a terrible God, who does not respect persons nor take a bribe.

⁷ And now let the fear of Jehovah be on you. Be careful and act wisely, for there is no iniquity with Jehovah our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts.

³ Is it good to You that You should press down, that You should despise the work of Your hands, and shine on the counsel of the wicked?

¹⁹ He leads priests away stripped, and overthrows the mighty.

²¹ He pours scorn on princes, and unties the belt of the mighty.

⁸ Will you lift up His person, or contend for God?

¹⁵ Did not He who made me in the womb make him? And did not One shape us in the womb?

¹⁹ If your cry for help is set in order, then it will not be in distress, but with all the forces of strength.

² The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers plot together, against Jehovah and against His anointed, saying, ³ Let us break their bands in two and cast away their cords from us. ⁴ He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; Jehovah shall mock at them.

⁶ Those who trust in their wealth, and their many riches, boast themselves. ⁷ A man cannot at all redeem a brother, nor give to God a ransom for him,

³¹ He who presses the poor curses his Maker, but he who honors Him has mercy upon the poor.

² The rich and poor meet together; Jehovah is the maker of them all.

⁸ If you see the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, do not marvel at the matter. For He who is higher than the highest watches; and there are some higher than they.

¹⁴ Jehovah will enter into judgment with the elders of His people, and their kings; for you have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses.

³⁴ Then Peter opened his mouth and said, Truly I see that God is no respecter of persons;

¹¹ For there is no respect of faces with God.

⁶ But from those who seemed to be something (what kind they were then does not matter to me; God does not accept the face of man), for those seeming important conferred nothing to me.

⁹ And masters, do the same things to them, forbearing threatening, knowing that your Master also is in Heaven. There is no respect of persons with Him.

²⁵ But he who does wrong shall receive justice for the wrong which he did, and there is no respect of persons.

²⁸ Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear,

⁵ Listen, my beloved brothers, has not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He has promised to those who love Him?

¹⁷ And if you call on the Father, who without respect of persons judges according to the work of each one, pass the time of your earthly residence in fear,
