⁴ Let that day be darkness. Let not God look upon it from above, neither let the light shine upon it.

²² And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven. And there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days. ²³ They did not see one another, nor did any rise from his place, for three days. But all the sons of Israel had light in their dwellings.

¹² It is a land which Jehovah your God cares for. The eyes of Jehovah your God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even to the end of the year.
