¹⁹ Then having rowed about twenty-five or thirty furlongs, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and drawing near the ship. And they were afraid.

⁸ who alone stretches out the heavens, and walks on the waves of the sea;

¹⁰ Jehovah sits on the flood; yea, Jehovah sits as King forever.

⁴ Jehovah on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, than the mighty waves of the sea.

And about the fourth watch of the night He came toward them walking on the sea, and would have passed by them. ⁴⁹ But when they saw Him walking on the sea, they supposed that it was a phantom, and cried out.

¹³ And behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, it being about sixty stadia from Jerusalem.

³⁶ And as they spoke this, Jesus Himself stood in their midst, and said to them, Peace to you! ³⁷ But they were terrified and filled with fear, for they thought they saw a spirit. ³⁸ And He said to them, Why are you troubled, and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? ³⁹ Behold My hands and My feet, that I am He! Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see Me have.

¹⁸ And Bethany was near Jerusalem, fifteen stadia away.
