¹⁴ Now, then, fear Jehovah, and serve Him in sincerity and truth. And put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt, and serve Jehovah.

¹ And when Abram was ninety-nine years old, Jehovah appeared to Abram and said to him, I am the Almighty God! Walk before Me and be perfect.

⁵ Did he not say to me, She is my sister? And she, even she herself said, He is my brother. In the sincerity of my heart and innocency of my hands I have done this. ⁶ And God said to him in a dream, Yes, I know that you did this in the sincerity of your heart. For I also withheld you from sinning against Me. Therefore I did not allow you to touch her.

² Then Jacob said to his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods among you, and be clean, and change your garments.

³ You shall have no other gods before Me. ⁴ You shall not make to yourselves any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

⁷ And they shall no more offer their sacrifices to goats, after whom they have gone whoring. This shall be a statute forever to them throughout their generations.

¹² And now, Israel, what does Jehovah your God ask of you, but to fear Jehovah your God, to walk in all His ways, and to love Him, and to serve Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul,

¹³ You shall be perfect with Jehovah your God.

² And Joshua said to all the people, So says Jehovah, the God of Israel, Your fathers lived Beyond the River in times past, Terah the father of Abraham, and the father of Nahor, and they served other gods.

²³ And now put away the strange gods among you, and incline your heart to Jehovah, the God of Israel.

²⁴ Only fear Jehovah, and serve Him in truth with all your heart. For consider what great things He has done for you.

³ I pray, O Jehovah, remember now how I have walked before You in truth and with a sincere heart, and have done good in Your sight. And Hezekiah wept with a great weeping.

¹¹ which You commanded by Your servants the prophets, saying, The land into which you go to possess it, is an unclean land with the filthiness of the people of the lands, with their abominations which have filled it from one end to the other with their uncleanness.

¹ There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job. And that man was perfect and upright, and one who feared God and turned aside from evil.

²⁸ And to man He said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom! And to depart from evil is understanding!

¹⁰ The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom; all practicing them have good understanding; His praise stands forever.

¹ ALEPH: Blessed are the upright in the way, who walk in the Law of Jehovah.

⁸⁰ Let my heart be sound in Your Precepts, so that I may not be ashamed.

⁴ But there is forgiveness with You, that You may be feared.

⁷ then I said to them, Let each man throw away the abominations of his eyes, and do not defile yourselves with the idols of Egypt. I am Jehovah your God. ⁸ But they rebelled against Me and would not listen to Me. They did not each man throw away the abominations of their eyes, nor did they forsake the idols of Egypt. And I said, I will pour out My fury against them to fulfill My anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.

¹⁸ But I said to their sons in the wilderness, Do not walk in the statutes of your fathers, nor observe their judgments, nor defile yourselves with their idols.

³ And they fornicated in Egypt; they whored in their youth, their breasts were handled, and there their virgin nipples were worked.

⁵ Afterward the sons of Israel shall return and seek Jehovah their God and David their king. And they shall fear Jehovah and His goodness in the ends of the days.

²⁵ Have you offered sacrifices and offerings to Me forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israel? ²⁶ But you have carried the booth of your king and Kiyyun, your images, the star of your gods which you made for yourselves.

¹⁵ But those on the good ground are the ones who, in an honest and good heart, having heard the Word, keep it and bring forth fruit with patience.

²³ But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to worship Him. ²⁴ God is a spirit, and they who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth.

³¹ Then, indeed, the churches had rest throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria, and having been built up. And having gone on in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, they were increased.

¹² For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity; not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God; we have had our conduct in the world, and more abundantly toward you.

²⁴ Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.
