² Command the sons of Israel that they bring to you pure olive oil, beaten, for the light, to cause the lamps to burn continually.

²⁰ And you shall command the sons of Israel that they bring you pure olive oil beaten for the light, to cause the lamp to burn always ²¹ in the tabernacle of the congregation, outside the veil which is before the testimony. Aaron and his sons shall order it from evening to morning before Jehovah. It shall be a statute forever to their generations on behalf of the sons of Israel.

³⁷ the pure lampstand, its lamps, even the lamps to be set in order, and all the vessels of it, and the oil for light,

²⁴ And he put the lampstand in the tent of the congregation across from the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.

² Speak to Aaron, and say to him, When you bring the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light in front of the lampstand. ³ And Aaron did so. He lighted its lamps in front of the lampstand, as Jehovah commanded Moses. ⁴ And this work of the lampstand was of beaten gold, to its base and to its blossoms; it was beaten work. According to the pattern which Jehovah had showed Moses, so he made the lampstand.

³ And the lamp of God had not gone out. And Samuel was lying down in the temple of Jehovah, where the ark of God was. ⁴ And Jehovah called Samuel. And he answered, Here am I.

¹¹ And they burn to the Lord every morning and every evening burnt sacrifices and sweet incense, and the showbread on the pure table, and the lampstand of gold with its lamps, to burn every evening. For we keep the charge of Jehovah our God. But you have forsaken Him.

¹⁰⁵ NUN: Your Word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path.

¹³⁰ The entrance of Your Words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.

²³ For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life;

²⁰ To the Law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this Word, it is because no light is in them.

² And the Spirit of Jehovah shall rest on Him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Jehovah.

¹⁶ The people who sat in darkness saw a great Light; and Light has sprung up to those who sat in the region and shadow of death."

¹⁶ Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in Heaven.

¹ Then shall the kingdom of Heaven be likened to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. ² And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. ³ The foolish ones took their lamps, but took no oil with them. ⁴ But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. ⁵ While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. ⁶ And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes! Go out to meet him. ⁷ Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. ⁸ And the foolish said to the wise, Give us some of your oil, for our lamps have gone out.

⁷⁹ to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

³⁵ Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning.

⁴ In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

⁹ He was the true Light; He enlightens every man coming into the world.

³⁵ He was a burning and shining light, and you were willing for a time to rejoice in his light.

¹² Then Jesus spoke again to them, saying, I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

¹⁸ in order to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the authority of Satan to God, so that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.

⁶ For it is God who said, "Out of darkness Light shall shine;" who shone in our hearts to give the brightness of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

¹⁷ that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, ¹⁸ the eyes of your understanding being enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of His calling, and what is the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

⁸ For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light ⁹ (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth), ¹⁰ proving what is acceptable to the Lord. ¹¹ And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. ¹² For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. ¹³ But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. ¹⁴ Therefore he says, "Awake, sleeping ones! And arise from the dead, and Christ shall give you light."

¹⁵ so that you may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation. Among these you shine as lights in the world, ¹⁶ holding forth the Word of Life, so that I may rejoice with you in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain nor labored in vain.
