⁵⁰ And He led them out as far as Bethany. And lifting up His hands, He blessed them.

¹⁸ And Melchizedek the king of Salem brought forth bread and wine. And he was the priest of the most high God. ¹⁹ And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of Heaven and earth. ²⁰ And blessed be the most high God, who has delivered your enemies into your hand. And he gave him tithes of all.

⁴ And make tasty meat for me, such as I love, and bring to me so that I may eat, that my soul may bless you before I die.

⁹ And Joseph said to his father, They are my sons, whom God has given me in this place. And he said, Please bring them to me, and I will bless them.

²⁸ All these were the twelve tribes of Israel. And this is what their father spoke to them, and blessed them; everyone according to his blessing he blessed them.

¹⁷ And leaving them, He went out of the city to Bethany, and spent the night there.

¹⁶ And taking them up in His arms, He put His hands on them and blessed them.

¹ And when they drew near to Jerusalem, to Bethphage and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, He sent out two of His disciples.

¹² Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount Of Olive Grove, which is a sabbath day's journey from Jerusalem.

⁵ And truly they who are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priest, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the Law, that is, from their brothers, though they come out of the loins of Abraham. ⁶ But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes from Abraham and blessed him who had the promises. ⁷ And without all contradiction the lesser is blessed by the better.
