²¹ for then shall be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world to this time; no, nor ever shall be.

²² Let their table become a snare before them; and to those at ease a trap. ²³ Let their eyes be darkened, so that they do not see; and make their loins shake without ceasing. ²⁴ Pour out Your wrath on them, and let the glow of Your anger take hold of them. ²⁵ Let their dwelling be wasted; let none dwell in their tents. ²⁶ For they persecute him whom You have stricken, and they talk to the grief of those You pierced. ²⁷ Add iniquity to their iniquity, and let them not come into Your righteousness. ²⁸ Let them be blotted out of the Book of Life, and not be written with the righteous.

¹² Therefore I will number you to the sword; and you will all bow down to the slaughter; because I called and you did not answer; when I spoke, you did not hear and did evil before My eyes, and chose that in which I did not delight. ¹³ So the Lord Jehovah says, Behold, My servants will eat, but you will be hungry. Behold, My servants will drink, but you will be thirsty. Behold, My servants will rejoice, but you will be ashamed. ¹⁴ Behold, My servants will sing for joy of heart, but you will cry for sorrow of heart, and will howl because of a breaking of spirit. ¹⁵ And you will leave your name for a curse to My elect; for the Lord Jehovah will kill you, and call His servants by another name. ¹⁶ He who blesses himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth. And he who swears in the earth will swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hidden from My eyes.

¹⁵ For, behold, Jehovah will come with fire, and with His chariots like a tempest, to refresh His anger with fury, and His rebuke with flames of fire. ¹⁶ For by fire and by His sword Jehovah will execute judgment with all flesh; and the slain of Jehovah will be many.

²⁶ And after sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself. And the people of the ruler who shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. And the end of it shall be with the flood, and ruins are determined, until the end shall be war.

¹ And at that time Michael shall stand up, the great ruler who stands for the sons of your people. And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation; until that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

² Hear this, you old men, and give ear, all dwellers of the land. Has this been in your days or even in the days of your fathers?

² a day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread on the mountains; a great people and a strong people; there has not been ever the like, nor shall there ever be again, even to the years of many generations.

⁸ I also cut off three shepherds in one month; and my soul was impatient with them, and their soul also despised me. ⁹ And I said, I will not feed you; that which dies, let it die; and that which is to be cut off, let it be cut off. And those left, let them eat, each woman her neighbor's flesh.

² For I will gather all nations to battle against Jerusalem; and the city shall be taken, and the houses plundered, and the women raped. And half of the city shall go into exile, and the rest of the people shall not be cut off from the city. ³ And Jehovah shall go out and fight against those nations, like the day He fought in the day of battle.

¹ For behold, the day is coming, burning like a fire pot; and all the proud, and every doer of wickedness, shall be chaff. And the coming day will set them ablaze, says Jehovah of Hosts, which will not leave root or branches to them.

²⁹ And immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun shall be darkened and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from the heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.

⁹ But take heed to yourselves. For they shall deliver you up to sanhedrins, and in the synagogues you shall be beaten. And you shall be brought before rulers and kings for My sake, for a testimony against them.

⁴³ For the days will come on you that your enemies will raise up a rampart to you, and will surround you, and will keep you in on every side. ⁴⁴ And they will tear you down, and your children within you, and will not leave a stone on a stone because you did not know the time of your visitation.

²⁴ And they shall fall by the sword's edge. And shall be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem shall be trodden down by the nations until the times of the nations is fulfilled.

¹⁶ forbidding us to speak to the nations that they might be saved, to fill up their sins always; but the wrath has come upon them to the uttermost.

²⁶ For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins, ²⁷ but a certain fearful looking for judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. ²⁸ He who despised Moses' Law died without mercy on the word of two or three witnesses. ²⁹ Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy of punishment, the one who has trampled the Son of God, and who has counted the blood of the covenant with which he was sanctified an unholy thing, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?
