⁶ But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins, then He said to the paralytic, Arise, take up your bed and go to your house.

²⁵ I, I am He who blots out your sins for My own sake, and will not remember your sins.

¹⁸ Who is a God like You, who pardons iniquity and passes by the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not keep His anger forever, because He delights in mercy.

²⁰ And Jesus said to him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.

⁵ For which is easier? To say, Your sins are forgiven you, or to say, Arise and walk!

⁷ Why does this one speak such blasphemies? Who can forgive sins except God only?

¹⁰ But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority upon earth to forgive sins, He said to the paralytic,

²¹ And the scribes and Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, except God alone?

¹¹ And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and she was bowed together and was not able to be completely erect. ¹² And when Jesus saw her, He called and said to her, Woman, you are delivered from your infirmity. ¹³ And He laid His hands on her. And instantly she was made erect, and she glorified God.

²¹ For as the Father raises the dead and makes alive, even so the Son of Man makes alive whomever He wills. ²² For the Father judges no man, but has committed all judgment to the Son, ²³ so that all should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.

²⁸ And I give to them eternal life, and they shall never ever perish, and not anyone shall pluck them out of My hand.

² even as You have given Him authority over all flesh so that He should give eternal life to all You have given Him.

²¹ Then Jesus said to them again, Peace to you. As My Father has sent Me, even so I send you. ²² And when He had said this, He breathed on them and said to them, Receive the Holy Spirit. ²³ Of whomever sins you remit, they are remitted to them. Of whomever sins you retain, they are retained.

³¹ This One God has exalted to be a Ruler and Savior to His right hand in order to give repentance and remission of sins to Israel.

⁵⁹ And they stoned Stephen, who was calling on God and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. ⁶⁰ And kneeling down, he cried with a loud voice, Lord, do not lay this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

³⁴ And Peter said to him, Aeneas, Jesus the Christ heals you; rise up and spread for yourself! And he arose immediately.

¹⁰ But to whom you forgive anything, I also forgive. For if I forgave anything, for your sakes I forgave it to him in the person of Christ;

²⁰ Then we are ambassadors on behalf of Christ, as God exhorting through us, we beseech you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

³² And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you.

¹³ forbearing one another and forgiving yourselves, if anyone has a complaint against any. As Christ forgave you, so also you do.
