¹ Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, took both Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben;

³ Reuben, you are my first-born, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity and the excellency of power. ⁴ Unstable as water, you shall not excel, because you went up to your father's bed; then you defiled it. He went up to my couch.

¹⁸ And the sons of Kohath: Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel. And the years of the life of Kohath were a hundred and thirty-three years.

²¹ And the sons of Izhar: Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri.

⁹ And the sons of Eliab, Nemuel, and Dathan and Abiram.
