⁷ He shall not be afraid of bad news; his heart is fixed, trusting in Jehovah.

¹ A Psalm of David. Jehovah is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? Jehovah is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? ² When the wicked, my enemies and my foes, came on me to eat my flesh, they stumbled and fell. ³ Though an army should camp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war should rise against me, in this I am trusting.

⁴ I sought Jehovah, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

³ When I am afraid I will trust in You. ⁴ In God I will praise His Word; in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do to me.

⁷ My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise.

⁸ Trust in Him at all times; you people, pour out your heart before Him; God is a hiding-place for us. Selah.

¹⁰ The righteous shall be glad in Jehovah, and shall trust in Him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.

⁶ Jehovah is for me, I will not fear; what can man do to me?

⁸ It is better to trust in Jehovah than to trust in man. ⁹ It is better to trust in Jehovah than to trust in princes.

³³ But whoever listens to me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

²⁵ Do not be afraid of sudden fear, nor of the destroying of the wicked, when it comes. ²⁶ For Jehovah shall be your hope, and shall keep your foot from being taken.

³ You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You; because he trusts in You. ⁴ Trust in Jehovah forever; for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength.

¹⁶ Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to return a word to you on this matter.

⁹ But when you hear of wars and disturbances, do not be terrified, for all these things must first occur, but the end is not at once.

¹⁹ By your patience you will gain your souls.

¹ Let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in Me.

²⁴ But none of these things move me, neither do I count my life dear to myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus Christ, to testify fully the gospel of the grace of God.

¹³ Then Paul answered, What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.

²⁵ Therefore, men, be of good cheer, for I believe God, that it will be so, according to the way it was told me.
