⁴ I said to the proud, Do not boast; and to the wicked, Do not lift up the horn;

² How long will you judge unjustly and lift up the faces of the wicked? Selah. ³ Defend the poor and fatherless; do justice to the afflicted and needy. ⁴ Deliver the poor and needy; save them out of the hand of the wicked. ⁵ They neither know nor will understand; they walk on in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken. ⁶ I have said, You are gods; and all of you sons of the Most High. ⁷ But you shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes. ⁸ Arise, O God, judge the earth; for You shall inherit in all nations.

¹⁷ For You are the glory of their strength; and in Your favor our horn shall be lifted up.

⁸ Understand, you beastly ones among the people; and fools, when will you be wise?

¹⁴ He also lifts up the horn of His people, the praise of all His saints, even of the sons of Israel, a people near to Him. Praise Jehovah!

²² How long will you love simplicity, simple ones? And will scorners delight in their scorning? And will fools hate knowledge?

⁵ O simple ones, understand wisdom; and, fools, be of an understanding heart.

⁶ Forsake the foolish and live; and go in the way of understanding.

²⁰ and of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth speaking very great things, whose appearance was greater than his fellows. ²¹ I watched, and that horn made war with the saints and overcame them

²¹ And I said, What are these coming to do? And He spoke, saying, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man lifted up his head. But these have come to terrify them, to throw down the horns of the nations who lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to scatter it.
