¹⁶ And they said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him sitting on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb;

⁹ You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. ¹⁰ And now be wise, O kings; be instructed, O judges of the earth. ¹¹ Serve Jehovah with fear, and rejoice with trembling. ¹² Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish from the way, when His wrath is kindled in but a little time. Blessed are all who put their trust in Him.

⁵ There they were in great fear; for God is in the generation of the righteous.

⁸ Your hand shall find out all Your enemies; Your right hand shall find out those who hate You. ⁹ You shall make them as a fiery oven in the time of Your presence; Jehovah will swallow them up in His wrath, and the fire shall devour them. ¹⁰ Their fruit shall You destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the sons of men. ¹¹ For they intended evil against You; they imagined a wicked thing; they are not able to prevail. ¹² For You shall make them turn the back; You shall make ready Your arrows on Your strings against their faces.

⁵ The Lord at Your right hand shall strike through kings in the day of His wrath. ⁶ He shall judge among the nations, He shall fill them with dead bodies; He shall shatter heads over much of the earth.

³ And death shall be chosen rather than life by all the rest of those who remain of this evil family, who remain in all the places where I have driven them, says Jehovah of Hosts.

⁸ Also the high places of Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed. The thorn and the thistle shall come up on their altars; and they shall say to the mountains, Cover us, and to the hills, Fall on us.

¹⁴ So the angel who talked with me said to me, Cry out, saying, So says Jehovah of Hosts: I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy. ¹⁵ And with great anger I am angry at the nations at ease; in that I was but a little angry, and they gave help for evil.

⁶⁴ Jesus said to him, You said it. I tell you more. From this time you shall see the Son of Man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming on the clouds of the heavens.

³⁰ And they shall begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us! And to the hills, Cover us!

⁷ and to give rest with us to you who are troubled, at the revealing of the Lord Jesus from Heaven with the angels of His power, ⁸ in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God and who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, ⁹ who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,

² And immediately I became in spirit. And behold, a throne was set in Heaven, and One sat upon the throne.

⁵ And out of the throne came lightnings and thunderings and voices. And seven lamps of fire were burning in front of the throne, which are the seven spirits of God.

⁹ And whenever the living creatures gave glory and honor and thanks to Him who sat on the throne, who lives forever and ever,

¹⁰ And they cried with a loud voice, saying, Until when, Master, holy and true, do You not judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?

⁶ and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created the heaven and the things in it, and the earth and the things in it, and the sea and the things in it, that there should no longer be time.

¹⁵ And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, so that with it He should strike the nations. And He will shepherd them with a rod of iron. And He treads the winepress of the wine of the anger and of the wrath of Almighty God.

¹¹ And I saw a great white throne, and Him sitting on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And a place was not found for them.
