¹ Now brethren, you have no need for anything to be written to you concerning the times and the seasons. ² For you yourselves know accurately that the day of the Lord so comes like a thief in the night. ³ For whenever they are saying, Peace and security; then sudden utter-destruction stands by them, just-like the travail a woman has in her womb, and they may never flee away from it. ⁴ But brethren, you are not in darkness, in order that the day might overtake you like a thief. ⁵ You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night, nor of darkness; ⁶ Therefore consequently, we should not sleep, like the rest also do, but let us watch and be sober. ⁷ For those who are sleeping, sleep in the night, and those who are drunken, are drunken in the night. ⁸ But we, being of the day, should be sober; having clothed yourselves with the breastplate of faith and love, and a helmet-- the hope of salvation. ⁹ Because God appointed us not for wrath, but for the acquisition of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, ¹⁰ who died on our behalf, in order that, whether we should watch or sleep, we should live together with him at the same time. ¹¹ Hence, encourage one another and build up one by one, just-as you are also practicing.
¹² But brethren, we request of you to know those who are laboring among you, and are governing over you, and admonishing you in the Lord; ¹³ and to deem them exceptionally in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves. ¹⁴ But brethren, we encourage you : admonish the disorderly, console the fainthearted, hold up the weak, have patience toward all. ¹⁵ See that not anyone repays evil in exchange-for evil to anyone, but always pursue the good, both toward one another and toward all. ¹⁶ Rejoice always. ¹⁷ Pray constantly. ¹⁸ Give-thanks in everything; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you. ¹⁹ Do not quench the Spirit. ²⁰ Do not scorn prophesying. ²¹ Test all things. Hold-onto the good things. ²² Abstain from every form of evil.
²³ Now may the God of peace himself make you entirely holy, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ. ²⁴ He is faithful who calls you, who will also do it.
²⁵ Brethren, pray concerning us.
²⁶ Greet all the brethren by a holy kiss. ²⁷ I am imploring you by the Lord that the letter be read to all the holy brethren.
²⁸ The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is with you. Amen.

³ Now when he sat upon the Mountain of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of your presence and of the end of the world?

³⁶ But concerning that day and the hour, no one knows, neither the messengers of the heavens, except my Father only.

³⁰ Assuredly I am saying to you, This generation may never pass away, till all these things should happen. ³¹ Heaven and earth will be passing away, but my words may never pass away.

³² But no one knows concerning that day or hour, not even the messengers in heaven, neither the Son, except the Father only.

⁷ Now he said to them, It is not yours to know times or seasons, which the Father placed in his own authority.

¹ For indeed, concerning the relief service for the holy-ones, it is superfluous for me to write to you :

⁹ Now concerning brotherly-love, you have no need for someone to write to you; for you yourselves are taught by God, that you should love one another;

³ Beloved, making all diligence to write to you concerning our common salvation, I had a necessity to write to you encouraging you to fight earnestly for the faith which was given once for all to the holy-ones.

²⁰ The anger of Jehovah will not return until he has executed and till he has performed the intents of his heart. In the latter days you* will understand it perfectly.

⁴² Therefore watch, because you do not know in what hour your Lord is coming. ⁴³ But know this, that if the master of the house knew in what watch the thief is coming, he would have watched and would have not permitted his house roof to be burrowed through. ⁴⁴ Because of this, you also, become prepared, because the Son of Man is coming in an hour you do not think.

¹³ Therefore watch, because you do not know the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.

³⁴ It is like a man, going-abroad, having left his house and given authority to his bondservants, and his work to each one, and he commanded the doorkeeper in order that he should watch. ³⁵ Therefore watch; for you do not know when the lord of the house is coming, whether at evening or midnight or rooster’s crowing or in the morning;

³⁹ But know this, that if the householder knew in what hour the thief was coming, he would have watched, and would not have left his house roof to be burrowed through. ⁴⁰ You therefore, also become prepared, because in an hour that you do not think the Son of Man is coming, he comes.

⁸ who will also confirm you until the end, so that you are irreproachable in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

¹⁰ But the day of the Lord will be coming like a thief in the night; in which the heavens will be passing away with a crashing-sound, and the elements will be dissolved, being burnt with heat, and the earth and the works which are in it will be burned up.

³ Therefore remember how you have received and heard, and keep it and repent. Therefore if you do not watch, I will be coming upon you like a thief and you may never know what hour I will be coming upon you.

¹⁵ (Behold, I am coming like a thief. The fortunate one is watching and keeping his garments, in order that he may not walk naked and in order that they may see his indecency.)

⁹ The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil, my desire will be satisfied upon them. I will draw my sword, my hand will destroy them. ¹⁰ You did blow with your wind, the sea covered them. They sank as lead in the mighty waters.

¹⁹ and it happens, when he hears the words of this curse, that he graces himself in his heart, saying, I will have peace, though I walk in the stubbornness of my heart, to destroy the moist with the dry.

²⁰ And when the men of Ai looked behind them, they saw, and behold, the smoke of the city ascended up to heaven and they had no power to flee this way or that way. And the people who fled to the wilderness turned back upon the pursuers.
²¹ And when Joshua and all Israel saw that the ambush had taken the city and that the smoke of the city ascended, then they turned again and killed the men of Ai. ²² And the others came forth out of the city against them, so they were in the midst of Israel, some on this side and some on that side. And they killed* them so that they let none of them remain or escape.

²⁷ And they took what Micah had made and the priest whom he had and came to Laish, to a people quiet and secure and killed* them with the edge of the sword and they burnt the city with fire. ²⁸ And there was no deliverer because it was far from Sidon and they had no dealings with any man and it was in the valley that lies by Beth-rehob. And they built the city and dwelt in it.

⁴¹ And the men of Israel turned and the men of Benjamin were dismayed, for they saw that evil had come upon them. ⁴² Therefore they turned their backs before the men of Israel to the way of the wilderness. But the battle followed hard after them and those who came out of the cities destroyed them in the midst of it.

¹⁹ And they spoke of the God of Jerusalem, as of the gods of the peoples of the earth, which are the work of men's hands.
²⁰ And Hezekiah the king and Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz, prayed because of this and cried out to heaven. ²¹ And Jehovah sent a messenger who cut off all the mighty men of valor and the leaders and captains, in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned with shame of face to his own land. And when he came into the house of his god, those who came out from his own guts killed him there with the sword.

¹¹ He says in his heart, God has forgotten. He hides his face. He will never see it.
¹² Arise, O Jehovah, O God, lift up your hand. Do not forget the poor.
¹³ Why does the wicked man despise God and say in his heart, You will not require it?

⁶ Trembling took hold of them there, pain, as of a woman in travail.

¹⁸ Surely you set them in slippery places. You cast them down to destruction. ¹⁹ How they have become a desolation in a moment! They are utterly consumed with terrors.
²⁰ As a dream from awakening, O Lord, when you waken, you will despise their form.

¹ He who, being often reproved, hardens his neck will suddenly be destroyed and that without remedy.

³ Therefore my loins are filled with anguish. Pangs have taken hold upon me, as the pangs of a woman in travail. I am pained so that I cannot hear. I am dismayed so that I cannot see. ⁴ My heart wanders. Horror has frightened me. The twilight that I desired has been turned into trembling to me.

¹³ therefore this iniquity will be to you* as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking comes suddenly in an instant.

⁶ I will say to the north, Give up and to the south, Do not keep back. Bring my sons from far and my daughters from the end of the earth, ⁷ everyone who is called by my name and whom I have created for my glory, whom I have formed, yes, whom I have made. ⁸ Bring forth the blind people who have eyes and the deaf who have ears.
⁹ Let all the nations be gathered together and let the peoples be assembled. Who among them can declare this and show us former things? Let them bring their witnesses that they may be justified, or let them hear and say, It is truth.

¹² Come you*, they say, I will fetch wine and we will fill ourselves with strong drink. And tomorrow will be as this day, great beyond measure.

³¹ For I have heard a voice as of a woman in travail, the anguish as of her who brings forth her first child, the voice of the daughter of Zion, who gasps for breath, who spreads her hands, saying, Woe is me now! For my soul faints before the murderers.

²⁴ We have heard the report of it. Our hands grow feeble. Anguish has taken hold of us and pangs as of a woman in travail.

²¹ What will you say when he will set over you as head those whom you yourself have taught to be friends to you? Shall not sorrows take hold of you as of a woman in travail?

²³ O inhabitant of Lebanon, who makes your nest in the cedars, how greatly to be pitied you will be when pangs come upon you, the pain as of a woman in travail!

³ Then they brought the golden vessels that were taken out of the temple of the house of God which was at Jerusalem. And the king and his lords, his wives and his concubines, drank from them. ⁴ They drank wine and praised the gods of gold and of silver, of brass, of iron, of wood and of stone.
⁵ In the same hour the fingers of a man's hand came out and wrote opposite the lamp-stand upon the plaster of the wall of the king's palace. And the king saw the part of the hand that wrote.
⁶ Then the king's countenance was changed in him and his thoughts troubled him. And the joints of his loins were loosed and his knees killed* one against another.

¹³ The sorrows of a travailing woman will come upon him. He is an unwise son, for it is time he should not abide in the place of the breaking forth of sons.

⁹ Now why do you cry out aloud? Is there no king in you. Has your counselor perished, that pangs have taken hold of you as of a woman in travail? ¹⁰ Be in pain and labor to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail.
For now you will go forth out of the city and will dwell in the field and will come even to Babylon. There you will be rescued. There Jehovah will redeem you from the hand of your enemies.

¹⁰ For entangled like thorns and drunken as with their drink, they are consumed utterly as dry stubble.

³³ Serpents, offspring of vipers! How may you flee from the judgment of hell?

³⁷ But just-as the days of Noah were, so will the presence of the Son of Man also be. ³⁸ For just-as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and being betrothed, till the day that Noah entered into the ark, ³⁹ and they did not know until the flood came and took them all away; so the presence of the Son of Man will also be.

²⁶ And just-as it happened in the days of Noah, so it will also be in the days of the Son of Man. ²⁷ They were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being betrothed, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. ²⁸ Likewise, even as it happened in the days of Lot; they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building; ²⁹ but in the day that Lot went out from Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. ³⁰ According to these things, it will be in the day that the Son of Man is revealed.

³⁴ But take-heed to yourselves, lest your hearts might be burdened in a hangover and drunkenness, and anxieties of everyday life, and that day might suddenly stand upon you; ³⁵ for it will be coming like a snare upon all those sitting upon the face of all the earth.

²² Now the public was shouting out, saying, This is a voice of a god and not of a man! ²³ But instantly a messenger of the Lord struck him, because he did not give God the glory and he expired, having become maggot-eaten.

⁴¹ ‘You despisers, behold and marvel and disappear, because I am working a work in your days, a work which you may never believe, even if someone describes it to you.’

⁹ who will be suffering-punishment, the sentence of everlasting utter-destruction away from the face of the Lord, and away from the glory of his strength,

³ how shall we flee, having neglected so-great a salvation, which having received at the beginning was spoken through the Lord, which was confirmed to us from those who heard it?

²³ to the festal-gathering and to the congregation of the firstborn ones, who have been registered in the heavens and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous who have been completed,

⁴ For if God did not spare messengers who sinned, but threw them into hell and gave them to restraints of blackness, being kept for judgment;

⁷ In how-much she glorified herself and was promiscuous, give to her so-much more torment and mourning, because she says in her heart, I am sitting as a queen and I am no widow and may never see mourning. ⁸ Because of this, in one day her wounds will come–death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned in fire, because strong is the Lord God who judged her.

⁶ Lest the avenger of blood pursue the manslayer, while his heart is hot and overtake him, because the way is long and kill* him mortally, and he was not worthy of death, inasmuch as he did not hate him in time past.

¹⁵ But it will happen, if you will not listen to the voice of Jehovah your God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command you this day, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:

⁴⁵ And all these curses will come upon you and will pursue you and overtake you, till you are destroyed, because you listened not to the voice of Jehovah your God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded you,

¹⁶ then it will happen, that the sword, which you* fear, will overtake you* there in the land of Egypt and the famine, of which you* are afraid, will follow hard after you* there in Egypt and there you* will die.

⁹ O Israel, you have sinned from the days of Gibeah. There they stood. The battle against the sons of unrighteousness does not overtake them in Gibeah.

⁶ But my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they not overtake your* fathers? And they turned and said, Like as Jehovah of hosts thought to do to us, according to our ways and according to our practices, so he has dealt with us.

¹⁸ to open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light, and from the authority of the Adversary to God, in order for them to receive forgiveness of sins, and an inheritance among those who have been made holy in faith, the faith in me.

¹¹ Also this, knowing the time, that it is already the hour to be raised from sleep; for our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. ¹² The night has progressed, and the day has drawn near. Therefore, we should place away from ourselves the works of darkness, and should clothe ourselves with the weapons of light. ¹³ We should walk decently, like in the day; not in revelings and drunkenness, not in sleeping-around and in unbridled-lusts, not in strife and in jealousy.

¹³ He rescued us out of the authority of darkness and transplanted us into the kingdom of the Son of his love;

⁹ But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s ownership, that you may proclaim the virtues of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light; ¹⁰ who previously were not a people, but now are the people of God; who had not been shown-mercy, but now have been shown-mercy.

⁸ Again, I am writing a new commandment to you, which is true in him and in you, because the darkness is passing away and the true light is already appearing.

⁸ And his lord praised the steward of unrighteousness because he had done prudently, because the sons of this world are more prudent to their own generation; even beyond the sons of the light.

³⁶ While you have the light, believe in the light, in order that you might become sons of light.
Jesus spoke these things and he went away and hid himself from them.

⁸ For you were previously in darkness, but now you^\'b0 are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light

¹⁵ Slothfulness casts into a deep sleep and the idle soul will suffer hunger.

¹⁰ His watchmen are blind. They are all without knowledge. They are all mute dogs. They cannot bark, dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber.

⁶ So the captain came to him and said to him, What do you mean, O sleeper? Arise, call upon your God, perhaps that God will think upon us, that we not perish.

²⁵ but while the men slept, his enemy came and sowed darnels between the stalks of the wheat and went away.

⁴² Therefore watch, because you do not know in what hour your Lord is coming.

³⁸ Then he says to them, My soul is very sorrowful until death. Remain here and watch with me.

⁴⁰ And he comes to the disciples and finds them sleeping and says to Peter, What, were you not strong-enough to watch with me one hour? ⁴¹ Watch and pray, in order that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit is indeed eager, but the flesh is weak.

³⁷ And he comes and finds them sleeping, and says to Peter, Simon, do you sleep? Were you not strong-enough to watch one hour? ³⁸ Watch and pray, in order that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit is indeed eager, but the flesh is weak.

³⁷ The fortunate bondservants, whom the lord, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly I am saying to you, that he will gird himself, and will have them recline at the meal, and having passed by them, he will be serving them.

³⁹ But know this, that if the householder knew in what hour the thief was coming, he would have watched, and would not have left his house roof to be burrowed through.

³⁶ Therefore, watch in every season, beseeching, in order that you might be deemed worthy to flee away from all the things which are about to happen, and to stand before the Son of Man.

³¹ Hence watch, remembering that for three years I ceased not from admonishing each one of you^\'b0 every day with tears.

¹⁸ through all prayer and supplication praying in all seasons in the Spirit and watching in this same thing in all perseverance and supplication concerning all the holy-ones.

⁵ Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is near.

² Persevere in your prayer, watching in it in thanksgiving;

⁸ But we, being of the day, should be sober; having clothed yourselves with the breastplate of faith and love, and a helmet-- the hope of salvation.

⁹ Likewise also, the women to adorn themselves in a respectable array, with modesty and self-discipline; not in hair braids or gold or pearls or costly garments;

¹⁵ but she will be saved through her childbearing, if they remain in faith and love and holiness with self-discipline.

² Therefore, it is essential for the overseer to be: unimpeachable, the husband of one wife, temperate, sensible, orderly, hospitable, skilled in teaching;

¹¹ Women likewise must be honorable, not slanderers, but temperate, faithful in all things.

⁵ But you, be sober in all things, suffer evil treatment, do the work of an evangelist, fully assure your service.

⁶ Likewise encourage the younger-men to be sensible,

¹² educating us in order that we should live with self-discipline and righteously and devoutly in this current age, after having denied ungodliness and worldly lusts;

¹³ Hence when you have girded up the loins of your mind, while being sober, hope completely upon the grace being brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

⁷ But the end of all things has drawn near. Therefore, be sensible and be sober for prayers.

⁸ Be sober! Watch! Your opponent, the devil, like a roaring lion, is walking around seeking whom he may swallow,

² Become watchful and establish the rest of the things, which were about to be cast away; for I have not found your works having been fulfilled in the sight of my God.

³⁶ And Abigail came to Nabal, and behold, he held a feast in his house like the feast of a king. And Nabal's heart was merry within him, for he was very drunk. Therefore she told him nothing, less or more, until the morning light.
³⁷ And it happened in the morning, when the wine had gone out of Nabal, that his wife told him these things and his heart died within him and he became as a stone.

²⁹ Who has woe? Who has sorrow? Who has contentions? Who has complaining? Who has wounds without cause? Who has redness of eyes? ³⁰ Those who abide long at the wine. Those who go to seek out mixed wine.
³¹ Do not look upon the wine because it is red, when it sparkles in the cup, when it goes down smoothly. ³² At the end it bites like a serpent and stings like an adder.
³³ Your eyes will behold strange things and your heart will utter perverse things. ³⁴ Yes, you will be as he who lies down in the midst of the sea, or as he who lies upon the top of a mast.
³⁵ They have stricken me, you will say and I was not hurt. They have beaten me and I did not feel it. When shall I awake? I will seek it yet again.

¹³ They will be getting the wages of unrighteousness; those who are deeming the carousing in the day to be a sensual-delight. They are stains and blemishes, carousing in their own acts of deception, while feasting sumptuously alongside you,

²³ O that my words were now written! O that they were inscribed in a book, ²⁴ that they were engraved in the rock forever with an iron pen and lead!
²⁵ But as for me I know that my Redeemer lives and at last he will stand up upon the earth. ²⁶ And after my skin, this body, is destroyed, then outside my flesh I will see God, ²⁷ whom I, even I, will see on my side and my eyes will behold and not as a stranger. My heart is consumed within me.

⁵ Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you in an uproar within me? Hope in God, because I will yet praise him for the help of his countenance.

²⁶ It is good that a man should hope and quietly wait for the salvation of Jehovah.

² through whom we also have had our access to this grace in the faith in which we are standing, and we are boasting in hope of the glory of God. ³ But not only in this, but we are also boasting in our afflictions, knowing that affliction is working endurance; ⁴ and endurance, approved character, and an approved character, hope; ⁵ and hope does not shame one, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

²⁴ For we were saved in hope; but hope which is seen, is not hope; for why does anyone even hope for what he sees? ²⁵ But if we hope for what we do not see, then we are waiting for it through endurance.

¹³ But these three are remaining now: faith, hope, love, and the greater of these is love.

⁷ in the word of truth, in the power of God; through the weapons of righteousness from the right hand and from the left hand,

⁵ For we are waiting for the hope of righteousness in a Spirit from faith.

⁸ For you were previously in darkness, but now you^\'b0 are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light ⁹ (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth),

¹¹ Clothe yourselves with the full-armor of God, that you may be able to stand up to the schemes of the devil.

¹³ Because of this, take up the full-armor of God, in order that you may be able to stand against the devil in the evil day, and to stand straight, having worked against all things. ¹⁴ Therefore stand, having girded your loins in truth and having clothed yourselves with the breastplate of righteousness, ¹⁵ and having tied the feet with the readiness of the good-news of peace. ¹⁶ Upon all these things, when you have taken up the shield of the faith, in which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one; \ulnone\nosupersub ¹⁷ also able to accept the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, ¹⁸ through all prayer and supplication praying in all seasons in the Spirit and watching in this same thing in all perseverance and supplication concerning all the holy-ones.

²³ Peace to the brethren and love with faith from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

⁵ You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night, nor of darkness;

¹⁶ Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God and Father who loved us and gave us everlasting encouragement and good hope in his grace,

¹⁹ This hope which we have as an anchor of the soul, is both secure and steadfast and entering into the inner side of the curtain;

³⁵ Therefore do not cast away your boldness, which has great reward. ³⁶ For you have need of endurance, in order that, having done the will of God, you may get the promise for yourselves.

³ The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ is gracious, who according to his much mercy has born us again into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, ⁴ into an incorruptible, undefiled and unfading inheritance having been guarded in the heavens for you; ⁵ who are kept through faith in the power of God, into a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

⁹ But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s ownership, that you may proclaim the virtues of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light;

⁷ But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son is cleansing us from every sin.

¹ Behold what sort of love the Father has given to us, in order that we might be called children of God. Because of this, the world does not know you, because it did not know him. ² Beloved, we are now the children of God and it was not yet manifested what we will be. But we know that, if he is manifested, we will be similar to him, because we will be seeing him just-as he is. ³ And everyone who has this hope set on him purifies himself, just-as that man is pure.

¹⁶ But indeed for this cause I have raised you up, to display in you my power and that my name may be proclaimed in all the earth.

⁴ Jehovah has made everything for its own end, yes, even the wicked for the day of evil.

¹⁰ The lord Jehovah says thus: It will happen in that day, that things will come into your mind and you will devise an evil plan.
¹¹ And you will say, I will go up to the land of un-walled villages. I will go to those who are at rest, who dwell securely, all of them dwelling without walls and having neither bars nor gates, ¹² to take the spoil and to take the prey, to turn your hand against the waste places that are now inhabited and against the people who are gathered out of the nations, who have gotten cattle and goods, who dwell in the middle of the earth.
¹³ Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions of it, will say to you, Have you come to take the spoil? Have you assembled your company to take the prey, to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take great spoil?
¹⁴ Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog, The lord Jehovah says thus: In that day when my people Israel dwell securely, will you not know it?
¹⁵ And you will come from your place out of the outermost parts of the north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding upon horses, a great company and a mighty army. ¹⁶ And you will come up against my people Israel, as a cloud to cover the land. It will happen in the latter days, that I will bring you against my land, that the nations may know me, when I will be made holy in you, O Gog, before their eyes.
¹⁷ The lord Jehovah says thus: Are you he of whom I spoke in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied in those days for many years that I would bring you against them?

²⁴ The Son of Man indeed is going, just-as it has been written concerning him, but woe to that man through whom the Son of Man is given up! It was

²⁰ For it has been written in the book of Psalms, ‘Let his habitation become desolate and do not let there be one dwelling in it’and, ‘Let a different one take his overseership.’

²⁵ to receive the inheritance of this service and apostleship from which Judas transgressed, so as to travel on to his own place.

⁴⁸ And when the Gentiles heard this, they were rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord, and they believed as many as were appointing themselves toward everlasting life.

¹¹ for the children not yet having been born, nor having practiced anything good or evil, in order that the purpose of God according to his choice might abide, not from works, but from the one who is calling. ¹² It was said to her, ‘The greater will be serving the inferior.’ ¹³ Just-as it has been written, ‘Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.’
¹⁴ Therefore what shall we say? There is not unrighteousness with God, is there? Let it not happen! ¹⁵ For he says to Moses, ‘I will show-mercy to whomever I show-mercy and I will have pity on whomever I have pity.’ ¹⁶ Therefore consequently, it is not from the one who wills, nor from the one who runs, but from God, the one who shows-mercy. ¹⁷ For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, ‘I have lifted you up for this same thing, that I myself might show in you my power and that my name might be thoroughly proclaimed in all the earth.’ ¹⁸ Therefore consequently, he shows-mercy on whom he wills and he hardens whom he wills.
¹⁹ Therefore you will say to me, Why is he still finding-fault? For who is standing against his will? ²⁰ But-rather, O man, who are you who answers back against God? The molded thing will not say to the one who molded it, why did you make me so, will it? ²¹ Or does the potter not have authority over the clay, to make out of the same batch one vessel for honor and another for dishonor? ²² But what if God, willing to show his wrath and to make his power known, carried us, vessels of wrath having been framed for destruction, in much patience; ²³ and in order that he might make known the riches of his glory upon vessels of mercy, which he prepared beforehand for glory,

⁷ Therefore what? What Israel is seeking after, it did not obtain this, but the chosen obtained it and the rest were hardened;

³⁰ For just-as you were also previously disobedient to God, but now you were shown-mercy by their disobedience,

¹⁰ and to await his Son Jesus from the heavens, whom he raised up from the dead; who rescues us from the coming wrath.

³ that no one be shook up in these afflictions; for you yourselves know that we are destined for this thing.

¹³ But we ought to thank God always concerning you brethren, beloved by the Lord, that God himself selected you from the beginning to salvation in holiness of the Spirit and in faith of the truth; ¹⁴ to which he called you through our good-news, for the acquisition of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

¹³ even though I was a former blasphemer and a persecutor and an insolent man, but I was shown-mercy, because I did it being ignorant in unbelief;

¹⁶ But I was shown-mercy because of this, in order that Jesus Christ might show all his patience in me as foremost, for a pattern of those who are afterward about to believe on him for everlasting life.

¹⁰ Because of this, I endure all things, because of the chosen, in order that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with everlasting glory.

¹⁹ Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal, ‘The Lord knows those who are his,’
²⁰ Now vessels are not only golden and silver in a great house, but also wooden and clay, and indeed the things to honor and the things to dishonor.

⁸ and, ‘A stone of stumbling and a rock of offense'; those who are stumbling in the word, being disobedient, toward which they were also appointed.

¹⁰ who previously were not a people, but now are the people of God; who had not been shown-mercy, but now have been shown-mercy.

¹ Simon Peter, a bondservant and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who are allotted an equally precious faith with us, in the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ:

³ And in their greed, they will be merchants of you with fabricated words; to whom the condemnation from long-ago is not idle, and their destruction will not be slumbering.

⁴ For some men sneaked in among you, those who have been written about, from long-ago for this condemnation of the ungodly, those who are transferring the grace of our God into unbridled-lusts and denying our only Master, God the Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

²⁸ just-like the Son of Man did not come to be served to, but to serve and to give his life as a redemption in exchange-for many.

¹¹ I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life on behalf of the sheep.

¹⁵ just-as the Father knows me and I know the Father, and I lay down my life on behalf of the sheep.

¹⁷ Because of this, the Father loves me, because I lay down my life, in order that I may again take it.

¹³ No one has greater love than this: in order that someone should lay down his life on behalf of his friends.

⁶ For when we were still weak, according to the proper time, Christ died on behalf of the ungodly. ⁷ For scarcely will one die on behalf of a righteous man; for perhaps someone might even dare to die on behalf of the good man. ⁸ But God is establishing his own love toward us, in that when we were still sinners, Christ died on our behalf.

³⁴ Who is the one who condemns? Christ is the one who died, but rather, who was also raised up from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also is petitioning on our behalf.

⁸ For in both, if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord; therefore, in both, if we live or die, we are the Lord’s. ⁹ For Christ both died and rose up and lived for this, in order that he might have lordship over both the dead and the living.

³ For I gave to you first, what I also received: that Christ died on behalf of our sins according to the Scriptures;

¹⁵ and he died on behalf of all, in order that those who are living should no longer live to themselves, but to the one who died and rose again on their behalf.

²¹ For the one who knew no sin, he was made the sin offering on our behalf; in order that we might become the righteousness of God in him.

² and walk in love, just-as the Christ also loved us and gave himself up on our behalf as an offering and a sacrifice to God for an aroma of a sweet-fragrance.

¹³ But brethren, we do not wish you to be ignorant concerning those who have fallen-asleep; in order that you may not be sorrowful like the rest who have no hope.

¹⁷ thereafter we, the living, who are left, will be taken away at the same time together with them in the clouds, to the encounter of the Lord in the air, and so we will always be together with the Lord.

⁶ who gave himself as a ransom on behalf of all; the testimony given in its own times;

¹⁴ who gave himself on our behalf, in order that he might redeem us away from all lawlessness and might cleanse a treasured people for himself, zealous of good works.

²⁴ who, himself, carried our sins in his body upon the tree, in order that we might live to righteousness, having died to our sins; by whose wound s you were healed.

¹⁸ Because Christ also suffered once for all on behalf of our sins, the righteous on behalf of the unrighteous, in order that he might lead you to God; having indeed been slain in the flesh, but was given-life in the Spirit;

¹⁹ Therefore consequently, we may pursue the things of peace, and the things for building up one another.

² Let each of us please his neighbor for what is the good thing toward building him up.

¹⁴ And my brethren, I also have confidence in myself concerning you, that you yourselves are full of goodness, having been filled with all knowledge, being able also to admonish one another.

²³ All things are legal for me, but not all things are advantageous. All things are legal for me, but not all things build up.

⁵ Now I wish for all of you to speak with foreign languages, but more in order that you may prophesy, for greater is he who prophesies than he who speaks with foreign languages, unless he translates, in order that the congregation may receive building up.

¹² So you also, since you are zealous ones of spiritual gifts, seek in order that you may abound to the building up of the congregation.

²⁹ But let the prophets speak by two or three and let the others discern.

¹⁹ Again, do you think that we are defending ourselves to you? We speak in Christ in God’s sight. But beloved, all things are on behalf of your building up.

¹² for the equipping of the holy-ones, for the work of the service, for the building up of the body of the Christ,

¹⁶ from whom all the body is fitly framed and knitted together, through every supplying joint, according to the working in measure of each part, which is making the growth of the body to the building up of itself in love.

²⁹ Do not let any rotten speech travel from your mouth. But if something is good for the building up of a need, do this in order that it may give a favor to those who are hearing.

¹⁰ for you are also practicing it toward all the brethren who are in the whole of Macedonia. But brethren, we encourage you, that you abound even more,

¹⁸ So-then, encourage one another in these words.

⁴ nor to take-heed to fables and unending genealogies, which provide more debates, rather than a stewardship of God which is in faith.

¹³ But encourage one another every day, until what is called today; in order that not anyone of you may be hardened by the deception of sin.

²⁵ not forsaking our own gathering-together, just-as the custom is with some, but encouraging one another, and so-much more, inasmuch as you are seeing the day drawing near.

¹² Hence, I will habitually not be neglecting to remind you concerning these things, although you know them and are established in the present truth.

²⁰ But you, beloved, keep building yourselves up in your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.

³⁷ Then he says to his disciples, The harvest is indeed large, but the workers are few. ³⁸ Therefore beseech from the Lord of the harvest, that he should put out workers into his harvest.

¹ Now after these things, the Lord also delegated seventy others, and sent them two apiece into every city and place before his face, where he himself was about to go. ² Therefore he said to them, The harvest is indeed large, but the workers are few, therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest, that he should put out workers into his harvest.

⁷ Now abide in that same house, eating and drinking from their things; for the worker is worthy of his wages. Do not proceed from house to house.

³⁸ I sent you to reap what you have not labored; others have labored, and you have entered into their labor.

²⁸ Therefore, take-heed to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit placed you as overseers, to shepherd the congregation of the Lord and God, which the Lord acquired through his own blood.

³⁵ I showed to you an example in all things, that so laboring, it is essential to help the weak and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that he himself said, It is more fortunate to give than to receive.

⁹ For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s cultivation, God’s building.

²⁸ And indeed God placed some in the congregation of believers, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, thereafter miracles, thereafter gifts of healing, helps, those who pilot others, those with varieties of languages.

¹⁰ But I am what I am by the grace of God and his grace toward me has not become empty, but I labored even-more than they all did; but not I, but the grace of God which was together with me.

¹⁶ in order that you may also be subject to those who are such and to everyone working together with us and laboring with them.

¹⁸ for they gave-rest to my spirit and yours. Therefore recognize those who are such.

⁹ Hence we also make it our aim to be well pleasing to him, whether at home, or away from home.

¹ And working together with him, we are also encouraging you to not accept the grace of God in vain;

²³ Are they servants of Christ? (I speak, as if having insanity) I am beyond them : in labors even-more, in lashes surpassingly, in prisons even-more, in deaths often.

¹¹ I fear for you, lest somehow I have vainly labored toward you.

¹⁶ Keep holding onto the word of life, for a boast to me in the day of Christ, that I did not run in vain nor labored in vain.

¹⁹ Now I am hoping in the Lord Jesus, to send Timothy to you shortly, in order that I may also be in good spirits when I know about the things concerning you.

²⁹ for which I also labor, struggling according to his working, which works in power in me.

⁹ For brethren, you remember our labor and hardship. For we were working night and day, that we might not burden any of you while we preached to you the good-news of God.

¹⁴ But brethren, we encourage you : admonish the disorderly, console the fainthearted, hold up the weak, have patience toward all.

¹ Do not berate an elder man, but encourage him like a father; younger-men like brethren;

¹⁷ The elders who are governing well, let them be deemed worthy of double honor, especially those who are laboring in the word and in teaching. ¹⁸ For the Scripture says, ‘You will not muzzle a threshing bull.’And, ‘The worker is worthy of his wages.’

²⁰ Reprove those who are sinning in the sight of all, in order that the rest may also have fear.

⁶ It is essential that the farmer who labors to receive of the fruits first.

³ But in his own seasons, he manifested his word in the preaching in which I was entrusted, according to the commandment of God our Savior.

⁵ Because of this, I left you in Crete, in order that you might amend the things which are deficient and should designate elders in every city, as I commanded you.

¹⁵ Speak and encourage and reprove these things with every commandment. Let no one despise you.

⁷ Remember your leaders, men who spoke to you the word of God, and review the outcome of their conduct; imitate the faith of such.

¹⁷ Obey and yield yourselves to your leaders; for they are watching out on behalf of your souls, as those who will be giving account; in order that they may do this thing with joy and not groaning; for this would be detrimental to you.

² Shepherd the flock of God among you, exercising the oversight, not by compulsion, but willfully, nor covetously, but eagerly; ³ nor like one lording it over his inheritances, but by becoming examples to the flock.

²⁰ The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in my right hand and the seven golden lamp-stands is this : the seven stars are the messengers of the seven congregations and the seven lamp-stands are seven congregations.

³ and you have endurance and did bear because of my name and have not fatigued.

⁸ And write to the messenger of the congregation in Smyrna:

¹ So let a man count us as attendants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. ² But furthermore, it is required in stewards, in order that someone should be found faithful.

⁷ Does anyone ever make war while supplying his own rations? Who plants a vineyard and does not eat from its fruit? Or who shepherds a flock and does not drink from the milk of the flock? ⁸ I am not speaking these things according to man. Or is the law not also saying these things? ⁹ For it has been written in the Law of Moses, ‘You will not muzzle a threshing bull.’God does not care only for the bulls, does he? ¹⁰ Or does he certainly say it because of us? For it was written because of us, that the one who is plowing ought to plow in hope, and the one who is threshing ought to thresh in hope to partake of his hope.
¹¹ If we sowed spiritual things to you, is it a big thing if we will be reaping your fleshly things?

¹¹ Furthermore brethren: rejoice; be completed; be comforted; be mindful of the same thing; be at peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.

¹⁴ And you did not scorn, nor spurn my test, which was in my flesh; but you accepted me as a messenger of God, even as Christ Jesus.

²² But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,

⁶ But let him, who is instructed in the word, share in all good things with the one who instructs.

³ Be diligent to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

¹⁵ And let the peace of God arbitrate in your hearts, for which you were also called in one body, and become thankful. ¹⁶ Now the Lord of peace himself may give you peace always in every manner. The Lord is with all of you.

²² But flee the youthful lusts; pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, with those who are calling upon the Lord out of a clean heart.

¹⁴ Pursue peace with all and the holiness without which no one will be seeing the Lord:

¹⁸ And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who are making peace.

³ Strengthen you* the weak hands and confirm the feeble knees. ⁴ Say to those who are of a fearful heart, Be strong, do not fear. Behold, your* God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God. He will come and save you*.

¹ Comfort you*, comfort my people, says your* God. ² Speak comfortably to Jerusalem and cry to her, that her warfare has been completed, that her iniquity is pardoned, that she has received of Jehovah's hand double for all her sins.

¹¹ He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will gather the lambs in his arm and carry them in his bosom, and will gently lead those who have their young.

⁹ In all their affliction he was afflicted and the messenger of his presence saved them. In his love and in his pity he redeemed them. And he bore them and carried them all the days of old.

¹² And their houses will be turned to others, their fields and their wives together. For I will stretch out my hand upon the inhabitants of the land, says Jehovah.

¹⁷ Son of man, I have made you a watchman to the house of Israel. Therefore hear the word at my mouth and give them warning from me.
¹⁸ When I say to a wicked man, You will surely die and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked man from his wicked way, to save his life, the same wicked man will die in his iniquity, but I will require his blood at your hand.
¹⁹ Yet if you warn the wicked man and he does not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he will die in his iniquity, but you have delivered your soul.
²⁰ Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits unrighteousness and I lay a stumbling block before him, he will die. Because you have not given him warning, he will die in his sin and his righteous deeds which he has done will not be remembered, but I will require his blood at your hand.
²¹ Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man, that the righteous man not sin and he does not sin, he will surely live, because he took warning and you have delivered your soul.

³ if, when he sees the sword come upon the land, he blows the trumpet and warns the people, ⁴ then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet and takes no warning, if the sword comes and takes him away, his blood will be upon his own head.
⁵ He heard the sound of the trumpet and took no warning; his blood will be upon him. But if he had taken warning, he would have delivered his soul.
⁶ But if the watchman sees the sword come and does not blow the trumpet and the people are not warned and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity, but I will require his blood at the watchman's hand.
⁷ So you, son of man, I have set you a watchman to the house of Israel. Therefore hear the word at my mouth and give them warning from me. ⁸ When I say to the wicked man, O wicked man, you will surely die and you do not speak to warn the wicked man from his way, that wicked man will die in his iniquity, but I will require his blood at your hand.
⁹ Nevertheless, if you warn the wicked man of his way to turn from it and he does not turn from his way, he will die in his iniquity, but you have delivered your soul.

¹⁶ I will seek what was lost and will bring back what was driven away and will bind up what was broken and will strengthen what was sick, but I will destroy the fat and the strong. I will feed them in justice.

²⁰ He will not fracture a bruised reed and he will not quench a smoking wick, until he should cast out the judgment to victory.

³² But I besought concerning you, in order that your faith may not fail, and someday having turned back again, establish your brethren.

¹⁵ Therefore when they had a meal, Jesus says to Simon Peter, Simon, Son of Jonah, do you ^{F} love me more-than these things?
He says to him, Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.
He says to him, Feed my lambs.
¹⁶ He says to him again a second-time, Simon, Son of Jonah, do you ^{F} love me?
He says to him, Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.
He says to him, Shepherd my sheep.
¹⁷ He says to him the third-time, Simon, Son of Jonah, Do you ^{F} love me?
Peter was sorrowful because he said to him the third-time, Do you ^{F} love me like a friend? And he said to him, Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you like a friend.
Jesus says to him, Feed my sheep.

²⁷ For I did not retreat back from proclaiming to you the whole plan of God.

¹ Therefore brethren, I am encouraging you through the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, well pleasing to God, which is your logical divine service.

¹ But receive the one who is weak in the faith, yet not for the judging of his reasonings.

¹ Now we, the able, ought to bear the weaknesses of the powerless and not to please ourselves. ² Let each of us please his neighbor for what is the good thing toward building him up. ³ For also Christ did not please himself, but, as it has been written, ‘The reproaches of those who are reproaching you fell upon me.’

¹⁴ I am not writing these things to be embarrassing you, but I am admonishing you as my beloved children.

⁴ Love has patience. It is kind. Love is not jealous. Love does not brag. It is not arrogant. ⁵ It does not behave improperly. It does not seek its own. It does not irritate. It does not reason evil.

¹ Brethren, even if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you, the spiritual, mend such a one in a spirit of meekness; noting any trespass in yourself, lest you might also be tempted. ² Bear the burdens of one another and thus fulfill the law of the Christ.

² with all humility and meekness, with patience tolerating one another in love.

³² and become kind to one another, affectionate, forgiving others in yourselves, just-as God also forgave us in Christ.

²⁸ The Christ whom we are proclaiming, admonishing every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, in order that we should present every man complete in Christ Jesus;

¹² Therefore as chosen ones of God, holy and beloved, clothe yourselves with a heart of mercy, kindness, humility, meekness, patience, ¹³ tolerating one another and forgiving others in yourselves. If anyone has a complaint toward anyone; just-as the Christ forgave you, so you also forgive others.

⁷ But we became mild in your midst, as a nurse may cherish her own children. ⁸ So having kindly-feelings of you, we were delighted to have given to you not only the good-news of God, but also our own souls, because you have become beloved to us.
⁹ For brethren, you remember our labor and hardship. For we were working night and day, that we might not burden any of you while we preached to you the good-news of God. ¹⁰ You and God are witnesses, as we became holy and righteous and blameless toward you who believe. ¹¹ Just-as you know, as we became with each one of you, like a father with his own children, encouraging you and consoling you\super\'b0 ¹² and testifying, that you should walk worthy of God, who is calling you into his own kingdom and glory.

⁶ Now brethren, we are commanding you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to withdraw yourselves from every brother who is walking disorderly and not according to the tradition which they received from us. ⁷ For you yourselves know how it is essential for you to imitate us. Because we did not act-disorderly among you;

¹¹ For we hear there are some who are walking disorderly among you, working at nothing, but are busybodies. ¹² Now we are commanding to such and are encouraging through our Lord Jesus Christ, in order that they work with quietness and should eat their own bread. ¹³ But you brethren, do not be depressed in doing good.

³ not a drunkard, not a bully, not covetous, but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a money-lover;

¹¹ But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue: righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, meekness.

²⁴ But it is essential for the Lord’s bondservant to not quarrel, but to be mild toward all, skilled in teaching, tolerating it when being mistreated, ²⁵ in meekness educating those who are placing themselves in opposition; if maybe God might give them repentance to come to the full knowledge of the truth,

² Preach the word. Stand-ready opportunely and inopportunely. Reprove, rebuke and encourage in all patience and teaching.

⁶ If anyone is irreproachable, the husband of one wife, having believing children, who is not in an accusation of riotousness or rebellious.

¹⁰ For there are many even rebellious men, empty-talkers and deceivers, especially those out of the circumcision,

² he who is able to moderate his emotions with those who are ignorant and are misled, since he himself is also encompassed with weakness; ³ and because of this weakness, he is obligated to offer sacrifices on behalf of sins concerning the people so also concerning himself.

¹² Hence straighten the drooping hands and the paralyzed knees;

³ Remember those who are prisoners, as having been bound together with them; those who are mistreated, as though being mistreated yourselves also in the body.

⁴ If you meet your enemy's ox or his donkey wandering, you will surely bring it back to him again. ⁵ If you see the donkey of him who hates you lying under his burden, you will refrain leaving him. You will surely release it with him.

¹⁸ You will not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the sons of your people, but you will love your neighbor as yourself. I am Jehovah.

²⁰ You will follow what is altogether just, that you may live and inherit the land which Jehovah your God gives you.

¹³ As says the proverb of the ancients, Out of the wicked comes forth wickedness, but my hand will not be upon you.

⁴ if I have rewarded evil to him who was at peace with me, (yes, I have delivered him without cause who was my adversary),

²⁰ They who also render evil for good are adversaries to me, because I follow the good thing.

¹³ He who rewards evil for good, evil will not depart from his house.

²² Do not say, I will recompense evil. Wait for Jehovah and he will save you.

¹⁷ Rejoice not when your enemy falls and do not let your heart be glad when he is overthrown,

²⁹ Do not say, I will do so to him as he has done to me; I will render to the man according to his work.

²¹ If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink.

³⁹ But I am saying to you, Not to stand against an evil man, but who ever slaps you upon your right jaw, turn also the other to him.

⁴⁴ But I am saying to you, Love^*\'b0 your enemies, speak well of those who curse you, do good things to those who hate you and pray on behalf of those who are railing at you and are persecuting you. ⁴⁵ Do this that you may become sons of your Father who is in the heavens, because his sun rises upon the evil and the good and it rains upon the righteous and the unrighteous.

³⁵ However, love^*\'b0 your enemies and do good things for them and lend, hoping for nothing again. And your reward will be much, and you will be sons of the Highest, because he is kind toward the unthankful and evil.

⁹ Let the love be non-pretended, abhorring evil things, joining yourselves to what is the good thing.

¹⁷ Repay to no one evil in exchange-for evil. Plan-for good things in the sight of all men. ¹⁸ If possible, what is from you should be at peace with all men.
¹⁹ Beloved, do not be avenging yourselves, but give a chance for the wrath of God; for it has been written, ‘Vengeance is for me. I will be repaying, says the Lord.’ ²⁰ Therefore, if your enemy hungers, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him a drink; for while doing this, you will be piling up hot-coals of fire upon his head. ²¹ Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

⁷ Therefore, it is indeed already a literal loss to you, that you have lawsuits with yourselves. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be defrauded?

¹ Pursue love; but yet be zealous for spiritual gifts, but rather in order that you may prophesy.

¹⁰ Now if Timothy comes, see to it, in order that he may become fearless toward you; for he is working the work of the Lord, as I also am.

¹⁰ Therefore consequently, as we have opportunity, we should work what is the good thing toward all men but especially in the household of the faith.

¹⁵ Therefore beware, how accurately you are walking, not as unwise, but as wise;

³³ However to you also, let each, one to one, love his own wife like himself, and let the wife see that she should fear her husband.

¹² and testifying, that you should walk worthy of God, who is calling you into his own kingdom and glory.

²⁴ But it is essential for the Lord’s bondservant to not quarrel, but to be mild toward all, skilled in teaching, tolerating it when being mistreated,

² to blaspheme no one, to not be quarrelsome, to be gentle, showing all meekness toward all men.

²² Having purified your souls in the obedience to the truth through the Spirit toward non-pretended brotherly-love, intensely love^*\'b0 one another from a clean heart;

¹⁷ Honor all men. Love^*\'b0 the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.

²² He who did no sin, nor was treachery found in his mouth; ²³ who, being reviled, was not reviling again in return; when suffering, was not threatening, (but was giving himself to the one who judges righteously),

⁹ not repaying evil in exchange-for evil or reviling in exchange-for reviling, but instead, speaking well of others; knowing that you were called for this, in order that you should inherit a blessing.

¹¹ Let him shun evil and let him practice good. Let him seek peace and let him pursue it, ¹² because the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous and his ears are toward their supplication. But the face of the Lord is against those who are practicing evil.
¹³ And who is he who will be mistreating you, if you become imitators of the good one?

¹¹ Beloved, do not imitate the evil one, but the good one. He who practices good is from God. He who practices evil has not seen God.

¹⁰ And I fell down before his feet to worship him. And he says to me, See that you do not do that. I am a fellow bondservant of you and of your brethren who are holding the testimony of Jesus. Worship God; for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

⁹ And he says to me, See that you do not do that. I am your fellow bondservant and of your brethren the prophets, and of those who are keeping the words of this book. Worship God.

¹² Rejoice and be glad, because your reward is much in the heavens; for thus, they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

²⁰ However, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in the heavens.

¹² rejoicing in the hope; enduring in your affliction; persevering in your prayer;

¹⁰ as sorrowful, yet even habitually rejoicing; as poor, yet enriching many; as having nothing and yet having all things.

⁴ Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, Rejoice.

¹ Now he also spoke a parable to them, to show that it is essential for them to always pray, and not to be depressed;

²¹ And he said, Naked I came out of my mother's womb and naked I will return there. Jehovah gave and Jehovah has taken away, praise the name of Jehovah.

¹ I will praise Jehovah at all times. His praise will continually be in my mouth.

²⁰ giving-thanks always on behalf of all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God and Father;

⁶ Be anxious in nothing, but in everything, let your requests be made known to God by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving.

¹⁷ And everything, anything, whatever you do in word or in work, do all things in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving-thanks to the God and Father through him.

³ For this is the will of God, your holiness, for you to abstain from fornication;

¹⁵ Therefore, let us always offer up a sacrifice of praising through him to God, that is, the fruit of our lips confessing in his name.

¹⁵ Because so is the will of God, doing good things to hush the ignorance of foolish men;

² that you should no longer have your life, (the rest of your time in the flesh), in the lusts of men, but in the will of God.

¹⁷ And the world is passing away and its lust, but he who is practicing the will of God abides forever.

³ And Jehovah said, My Spirit will not strive in man everlasting, he is flesh in their erring. Yet his days will be a hundred and twenty years.

⁴ And Samuel did what Jehovah spoke and came to Bethlehem. And the elders of the city came to meet him trembling and said, Do you come peaceably?

³⁰ Yet many years you prolonged with them and testified against them by your Spirit through your prophets. Yet they would not listen. Therefore you gave them into the hand of the peoples of the lands.

¹¹ Cast me not away from your presence and take not your holy Spirit from me.

⁷ Many waters cannot quench love, nor can floods drown it. If a man would give all the substance of his house for love, he would be utterly scorned.

¹⁰ But they rebelled and grieved his holy Spirit. Therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and himself fought against them.

⁵¹ You are stiff-necked and non-circumcised in heart and ears. You are habitually defying the Holy Spirit, like your fathers, like you also!

³⁰ But if a prophesy is revealed to another sitting by, let the first be silent.

³⁰ And do not make the Holy Spirit of God sorrowful, in whom you were sealed to the day of redemption.

¹⁶ Upon all these things, when you have taken up the shield of the faith, in which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one; \ulnone\nosupersub

¹⁴ Do not neglect the gift which is in you, which was given to you through prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the eldership.

⁶ Because of which case, I am reminding you to rekindle the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands.

²⁵ And Jehovah came down in the cloud and spoke to him and took of the spirit that was upon him and put it upon the seventy elders. And it happened, that, when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, but they did so no more.
²⁶ But there remained two men in the camp, the name of the one was Eldad and the name of the other Medad. And the spirit rested upon them. And they were of those who were written, but had not gone out to the tent. And they prophesied in the camp. ²⁷ And a young man ran and told Moses and said, Eldad and Medad do prophesy in the camp. ²⁸ And Joshua the son of Nun, the minister of Moses, one of his chosen men, answered and said, My lord Moses, forbid them.
²⁹ And Moses said to him, Are you jealous for my sake? Would that all of Jehovah's people were prophets, that Jehovah would put his spirit upon them!

⁵ After that you will come to the hill of God where is the garrison of the Philistines. And it will happen, when you have come there to the city, that you will meet a band of prophets coming down from the high place with a psaltery and a timbrel and a pipe and a harp, before them and they will be prophesying.
⁶ And the Spirit of Jehovah will come mightily upon you and you will prophesy with them and will be turned into another man.

¹⁰ And when they came there to the hill, behold, a band of prophets met him. And the Spirit of God came mightily upon him and he prophesied among them.
¹¹ And it happened, when all who knew him formerly saw, that, behold, he prophesied with the prophets, then the people said one to another, What is this that has come to the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets? ¹² And a man from the same place answered and said, And who is their father? Therefore it became a proverb, Is Saul also among the prophets?
¹³ And when he had made an end of prophesying, he came to the high place.

²⁰ And Saul sent messengers to take David. And when they saw the company of the prophets prophesying and Samuel standing as head over them, the Spirit of God came upon the messengers of Saul and they also prophesied. ²¹ And when it was told Saul, he sent other messengers and they also prophesied. And Saul sent messengers again the third time and they also prophesied.
²² Then he also went to Ramah and came to the great well that is in Secu. And he asked and said, Where are Samuel and David? And one said, Behold, they are at Naioth in Ramah.
²³ And he went there to Naioth in Ramah and the Spirit of God came upon him also and he went on and prophesied until he came to Naioth in Ramah. ²⁴ And he also stripped off his clothes and he also prophesied before Samuel and lay down naked all that day and all that night. Therefore they say, Is Saul also among the prophets?

⁶ And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they were speaking in foreign languages and were prophesying.

⁴ Every man praying or prophesying, having something on his head, shames his head.

¹⁰ and workings of miracles to another; and prophecy to another; and the discernings of spirits to another; varieties of languages to a different one; and the translation of foreign languages to another;

² And if I have the gift of prophecy and if I know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so-then to remove mountains, but if I do not have love, I am nothing.

⁹ But we know partially and we prophesy partially;

³ But he who prophesies speaks to men for building up and encouragement and consolation. ⁴ He who speaks in a foreign language builds himself up, but he who prophesies builds up the congregation. ⁵ Now I wish for all of you to speak with foreign languages, but more in order that you may prophesy, for greater is he who prophesies than he who speaks with foreign languages, unless he translates, in order that the congregation may receive building up.
⁶ But brethren, now if I come to you speaking in foreign languages, what will I profit you, if I do not speak to you either in revelation or in knowledge or in prophesying or in teaching?

²² So-then foreign languages are for a sign, not to those who believe, but to the unbelieving, but prophesying is for a sign, not to the unbelieving, but to those who believe. ²³ Therefore, if the whole congregation comes together in the same place, and if all speak with foreign languages, and if unskilled or unbelieving people come in, will they not be saying that you are insane? ²⁴ But if all prophesy and some unbelieving or unskilled person comes in, he is reproved by all. He is judged by all. ²⁵ And thus, the secret things of his heart become apparent, and so, when he has fallen down upon his face, he will be worshiping God, reporting that God really is among you.

²⁹ But let the prophets speak by two or three and let the others discern. ³⁰ But if a prophesy is revealed to another sitting by, let the first be silent. ³¹ For all of you are able to prophesy, one by one, in order that all may learn and all might be encouraged. ³² The spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets;

³⁷ If anyone thinks himself to be a prophet or spiritual, let him fully know what I write to you, that they are the commandments from the Lord. ³⁸ But if anyone is ignorant, let him be ignorant.
³⁹ So-then brethren, be zealous to prophesy and do not forbid people to speak with foreign languages.

¹¹ And he gave some to be : the apostles, and the prophets, and the evangelists, and the shepherds and teachers ¹² for the equipping of the holy-ones, for the work of the service, for the building up of the body of the Christ,

⁸ Therefore, the one who is rejecting this is not rejecting man, but God, who also gives his Holy Spirit to you.

³ And I will be giving to my two witnesses and they will be prophesying one thousand two hundred and sixty days, having been dressed in sackcloth. ⁴ These are the two olive trees and the two lamp-stands, standing in the sight of the Lord of the earth. ⁵ And if anyone wishes to hurt them, fire travels out from their mouth and devours their enemies, and if anyone wishes to hurt them, it is essential for him to thus be killed. ⁶ These have the authority to lock the heaven, in order that no rainfall may rain on the days of their prophecy and they have authority over the waters to turn them into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of wound, whenever they will it.
⁷ And whenever they completed their testimony, the beast which is ascending out of the abyss, will make war with them and overcome them and kill them. ⁸ And the corpse s of them lay in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified. ⁹ And some from among the peoples and tribes and languages and nations look upon their corpses three and a half days and they will not allow their corpses to be laid in a tomb. ¹⁰ And those who are dwelling upon the earth rejoice over them and will be joyous, and they will send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell upon the earth. ¹¹ And after the three and a half days the spirit of life from God entered into them and they stood upon their feet, and great fear fell upon those who view them.

⁶ and what he did to Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben, how the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up and their households and their tents and every living thing that followed them, in the midst of all Israel, ⁷ but your* eyes have seen all the great work of Jehovah which he did.
⁸ Therefore you* will keep all the commandment which I command you this day, that you* may be strong and go in and possess the land, where you* go over to possess it, ⁹ and that you* may prolong your* days in the land, which Jehovah swore to your* fathers to give to them and to their seed, a land flowing with milk and honey.

⁴⁶ And he said to them, Set your* heart to all the words which I testify to you* this day, which you* will command your* sons to observe to do, even all the words of this law. ⁴⁷ For it is no vain thing for you*, because it is your* life and through this thing you* will prolong your* days in the land where you* go over the Jordan to possess it.

¹ My son, do not forget my law, but let your heart keep my commandments.

²¹ My son, do not let them depart from your eyes. Keep sound-wisdom and discretion, ²² so they will be life to your soul and adornment to your neck.
²³ Then you will walk in your way securely and your foot will not stumble. ²⁴ When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet.

¹³ Take firm hold of instruction. Do not let her go. Keep her, because she is your life.

²¹ Bind them continually upon your heart. Tie them about your neck. ²² When you walk, it will lead you. When you sleep, it will watch over you. And when you awake, it will talk with you.
²³ Because the commandment is a lamp and the law is light and reproofs of instruction are the way of life,

²³ Buy the truth and do not sell it, yes, wisdom and instruction and understanding.

⁴ It was but a little that I passed from them when I found he whom my soul loves. I held him and would not let him go until I had brought him into my mother's house and into the chamber of her who conceived me.

²⁰ Seek to the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, surely there is no morning for them.

¹⁵ But take-heed, stay away from false prophets, who are coming to you in sheep’s clothing, but inside are ravenous wolves. ¹⁶ You will fully know them from their fruits. They do not collect a grape-cluster from thorns or figs from thistles, do they? ¹⁷ Thus every good tree produces good fruit, but the rotten tree produces evil fruit. ¹⁸ A good tree is not able to produce evil fruit, nor is a rotten tree able to produce good fruit. ¹⁹ Every tree which is not producing good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire. ²⁰ Consequently, you will fully know them from their fruits.

¹⁴ And having called to him all the crowd again, he said to them, All, hear me and understand. ¹⁵ There is nothing outside the man, that traveling into him is able to desecrate him, but the things which travel out from him, those are the things which defile the man.

⁵⁷ But why are you not judging the righteous thing s, even from among yourselves?

³¹ Therefore Jesus said to those Jews who have believed in him, If you abide in my word, then you truly are my disciples;

⁴ Abide in me and I in you. Just-as the branch is not able to bring forth fruit from itself, if it does not abide in the vine; so neither can you if you do not abide in me.

²³ who, having come and having seen the favor of God, rejoiced and was encouraging all with purpose of heart to remain in the Lord,

²² further strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to remain in the faith, and that it is essential for us through many afflictions to enter into the kingdom of God.

¹¹ Now these Jews were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they accepted the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily, to see if these things were so.

² And not to fashion yourselves to this age, but be transfigured by the renewal of your mind, that you may be proving in you what is the will of God: the good and acceptable and mature.

¹¹ For who from men knows the things of a man, except the spirit of the man, which is in him? So also, no one knows the things of God, except the Spirit of God.

¹⁴ Now the physical man is not accepting the things from the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness to him, and he is not able to know them, because they are spiritually examined. ¹⁵ But the spiritual one is indeed examining all things, but he himself is examined by no one.

²⁸ But if there is no translator, let him be silent in the congregation, and let him speak to himself and to God. ²⁹ But let the prophets speak by two or three and let the others discern.

⁵⁸ So-then my beloved brethren, become grounded, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not empty in the Lord.

¹⁰ testing what is well pleasing to the Lord.

¹⁰ that you may approve the things which are carrying more-value; in order that you may be sincere and guilt-free in the day of Christ;

¹⁶ however in what we have attained, we are to march by the same standard, to be mindful of the same things.

⁸ Furthermore brethren, as many things as are true, as many as are honorable, as many as are righteous, as many as are pure, as many as are lovely, as many as have good-repute; if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, reason on these things.

¹⁵ Therefore, consequently, brethren, stand-firm and hold-fast the traditions which you were taught, whether through speech or through our letter.

¹⁵ You know this, that all who are in Asia turned away from me; of whom are Phygelus and Hermogenes.

⁶ For out of these people are those who are sneaking into houses and capturing immature women, who have been piled up with sins and are led away by various lusts,

¹⁴ Alexander the coppersmith showed to ward me many evils. May the Lord give to him according to his works;

²³ We should hold-onto the confession of our hope–unwavering; for he who promised is faithful.

¹ Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, to see if they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

² I know your works and your labor and endurance and that you are not able to bear evil men and you tested those who are saying about themselves, They are apostles and are not and you have found them false;

²⁵ However hold-fast^\'b0 to what you have, till whenever I have come.

¹¹ I am coming shortly. Hold-fast what you have, in order that no one may take your crown.

⁷ Keep far from a false matter. And do not kill an innocent and righteous man, because I will not justify a wicked man.

¹⁵ He who walks righteously and speaks in uprightness. He who despises the gain of oppressions, who shakes away his hands from taking a bribe, who stops his ears from hearing of blood and shuts his eyes from looking upon evil.

²⁶ And Peter says to him, From aliens.
Jesus said to him, Consequently, the sons are free. ²⁷ But in order that we might not offend them, you travel to the sea and cast a fishhook, and lift out the fish that ascends first, and when you have opened its mouth, you will find a four-denarii coin. Take that, and give it to them in exchange-for you and me.

¹⁷ Repay to no one evil in exchange-for evil. Plan-for good things in the sight of all men.

¹³ Hence, if food is offending my brother, I should never eat idol’s meat forever, in order that I may not offend my brother.

³¹ Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or if you are doing anything, do all to the glory of God. ³² Do not become a stumbling block, either to Jews or to Greeks, or to the congregation of God; ³³ just-as I am also pleasing all people in all things, not seeking what is advantageous for me, but what is advantageous for many, in order that they may be saved.

³ giving no one a stumbling block in anything, in order that the service from us might not be blamed.

²⁰ We are avoiding this thing, lest anyone might blame us in the matter of this lavish donation which is served by us; ²¹ planning-for good things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.

¹² in order that you may walk decently toward those who are outside, and may have need of nothing.

²³ but save others in fear, seizing them out of the fire, hating even the tunic which has been stained from the flesh.

⁸ And you* will keep my statutes and do them. I am Jehovah who sanctifies you*.

²⁶ And you* will be holy to me, for I, Jehovah, am holy and have set you* apart from the peoples, that you* should be mine.

²⁸ And the nations will know that I am Jehovah, who sanctifies Israel, when my sanctuary will be in the midst of them everlasting.

⁴⁶ And Mary said, My soul extols the Lord,

¹⁹ And I make myself holy on their behalf, in order that they themselves may also be made holy in truth.

³² And hereafter I consign you brethren to God, and to the word of his favor, which is able to build you up and to give you an inheritance among all those who have been made holy.

⁵ Now the God of the endurance and the encouragement gives to you to be mindful of the same thing among one another according to Christ Jesus,

¹³ Now the God of hope may fill you with all joy and peace in the believing, that you may abound in hope in the power of the Holy Spirit.

³³ Now the God of peace is with all of you. Amen.

²⁰ Now the God of peace will crush the Adversary under your feet shortly.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is among you.

² to the congregation of God which is in Corinth–those who have been made holy in Christ Jesus, called ones, holy-ones, together with all who are calling upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ in every place, both theirs and ours:

⁸ who will also confirm you until the end, so that you are irreproachable in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. ⁹ God is faithful, through whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

³³ for God is not a God of unrest, but of peace.
As in all the congregations of the holy-ones:

¹⁹ as that, God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ not counting to them their trespasses and having placed the word of reconciliation in us.

²⁶ in order that he might make her holy, having cleansed her in the full-washing of the water in the word, ²⁷ in order that he might present her to himself, the glorious congregation, not having stain or wrinkle or any such things, but in order that she should be holy and unblemished.

⁶ I have confidence of this same thing, that he who has begun a good work in you will be completing it till the day of Jesus Christ;

¹⁵ in order that you might become blameless and harmless children of God, flawless in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as illuminations in the world. ¹⁶ Keep holding onto the word of life, for a boast to me in the day of Christ, that I did not run in vain nor labored in vain.

⁹ The things which you both learned and received and heard and saw in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

²² in the body of his flesh through his death, to present you holy and unblemished and irreproachable in his sight;

¹⁹ For what is our hope or joy or crown of boasting, or is it not also you, which is before our Lord Jesus Christ at his presence?

¹³ that he might establish your hearts, blameless in holiness before our God and Father, in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ, with all his holy-ones.

¹¹ For both he who is making holy and those who are made holy are all from one. Because of which case, he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

¹² For the word of God is living and effective and sharper beyond that of any two edged sword and is penetrating till the division of both soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow and is a judge of the contemplations and deliberations of the heart.

²⁰ Now the God of peace, who brought up the great shepherd of the sheep, our Lord Jesus, from the dead in the blood of an everlasting covenant,

² according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in the holiness of the Spirit, to obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: grace to you and may peace be multiplied.

¹⁰ But the God of all grace, who called you to his everlasting glory in Christ Jesus, when you have suffered a small time, he himself may frame you up, will establish, will strengthen and will found you.

¹⁴ Hence, beloved, while expecting these things, be diligent that you may be found in peace, unstained and unblemished in his sight.

¹ Jude, a bondservant of Jesus Christ and brother of James, to the called one, those who have been made holy in God the Father and have been kept in Jesus Christ:

²⁴ Now to the one who is able to guard us from falling and to stand us in the sight of his glory, unblemished in gladness,

¹⁹ God is not a man, that he should lie, neither the son of man, that he should repent. Has he said and will he not do it? Or has he spoken and will he not make it good?

⁹ Know therefore that Jehovah your God, he is God, the faithful God, who keeps covenant and loving kindness with those who love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations,

³¹ For out of Jerusalem will go forth a remnant and out of Mount Zion those who will escape. The zeal of Jehovah will perform this.

⁵ Your loving kindness, O Jehovah, is in the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies.

¹⁰ I have not hid your righteousness within my heart. I have declared your faithfulness and your salvation. I have not concealed your loving kindness and your truth from the great assembly.

¹⁵ But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abundant in loving kindness and truth.

² Because I have said, Mercy will be built up everlasting. Your faithfulness you will establish in the very heavens.

² to show forth your loving kindness in the morning and your faithfulness every night,

⁵ Because Jehovah is good. His loving kindness is everlasting and his faithfulness to all generations.

² I will worship toward your holy temple and give thanks to your name because your loving kindness and for your truth. Because you have magnified your word above all your name.

⁶ who made heaven and earth, the sea and all that is in them, who keeps truth everlasting,

⁷ Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and upon his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from hereafter until everlasting. The zeal of Jehovah of hosts will perform this.

²⁴ Jehovah of hosts has sworn, saying, Surely, as I have thought, so will it happen and as I have purposed, so will it stand, ²⁵ that I will break the Assyrian in my land and tread him under foot upon my mountains. Then will his yoke depart from them and his burden depart from their shoulder.
²⁶ This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations.

¹ O Jehovah, you are my God. I will exalt you. I will praise your name. For you have done wonderful things, even counsels of old, in faithfulness and truth.

³² For out of Jerusalem will go forth a remnant and out of Mount Zion those who will escape. The zeal of Jehovah of hosts will perform this.

²³ They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness.

²⁰ You will perform the truth to Jacob and the loving kindness to Abraham, which you have sworn to our fathers from the days of long-ago.

³⁵ The heaven and the earth will be passing away, but my words may never pass away.

¹⁷ Because the law was given through Moses; the favor and the truth became through Jesus Christ.

³³ He who has received his testimony has sealed this : that God is true.

³⁰ and whom he predetermined, he also invited these and whom he invited, he also made these righteous and whom he made righteous, he also glorified these.

²⁴ whom he also invited, not only from the Jews, but also from the Gentiles?

⁹ God is faithful, through whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

¹³ No temptation has taken you except common human temptations, but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able to undergo, but together with the temptation, he will also make an outlet.

¹⁵ But when God was delighted–he separated me from my mother’s womb, having called me through his grace,

¹⁴ to which he called you through our good-news, for the acquisition of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

³ But the Lord is faithful, who will be establishing you and will be guarding you from the evil one. \ulnone\nosupersub

⁹ who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before times everlasting,

¹³ if we are unfaithful, that one is remaining faithful; he is not able to deny himself.

² upon the hope of everlasting life, which God, who is incapable of lying, promised before times everlasting.

¹⁷ In which God, planning to show even-more to the heirs of the promise the unchangeable will of his plan, intermediated this with an oath; ¹⁸ in order that through two unchangeable matters, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge, to take-hold of the hope that lays before us.

³ As his divine power has been bestowed to us as a gift, (all things pertaining to life and godliness), through the full knowledge of the one who called us through glory and virtue;

¹⁴ These will make war with the Lamb and the Lamb will overcome them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those called and chosen and faithful with him.

³⁰ Now brethren, I am encouraging you through our Lord Jesus Christ and through the love of the Spirit, to struggle together with me, and on my behalf in your prayers to God;

¹¹ You^\'b0 are also working together on our behalf by your supplication; in order that the gift to us from many faces might be a thanksgiving through many people on our behalf.

¹⁸ through all prayer and supplication praying in all seasons in the Spirit and watching in this same thing in all perseverance and supplication concerning all the holy-ones. ¹⁹ And pray on my behalf, in order that the word may be given to me, in opening my mouth to make known the mystery of the good-news in boldness, ²⁰ on behalf of which, I am an ambassador in a chain; in order that I should speak boldly in it, as it is essential for me to speak.

¹⁹ For I know that this will be transpiring for my salvation, through your supplication and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,

³ praying at the same time concerning us also, in order that God may open a door of the word to us, to speak the mystery of the Christ, because of which I have also been bound;

¹ Furthermore, brethren, pray concerning us, in order that the word of the Lord may run onward and may be glorified, just-as it is also with you; ² and in order that we may be rescued from the improper and evil men; for the faith is not of all. ³ But the Lord is faithful, who will be establishing you and will be guarding you from the evil one. \ulnone\nosupersub

²² But also at the same time, prepare me a lodging. For I am hoping that through your prayers I will be granted to you.

¹⁸ Pray concerning us; for we have confidence that we have a good conscience, wishing to conduct ourselves in a good manner in all things. ¹⁹ But I am encouraging you even-more to do this, in order that I may be restored to you shortly.

¹⁶ Greet one another with a holy kiss. The congregations of Christ greet you.

²³ And he laid his hands upon him and gave him a charge, as Jehovah spoke by Moses.

¹⁶ And the king said to him, How many times shall I make you swear that you speak to me nothing but the truth in the name of Jehovah?

⁶³ But Jesus was silent. And the high-priest answered and said to him, I implore you by the living God, in order that you should tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God?

¹³ But also, some exorcists from the strolling Jews undertook the task to name the name of the Lord Jesus upon those who had the evil spirits, saying, We implore you on the Jesus whom Paul is preaching.

¹⁶ And whenever this letter has been read before you, do forward it, in order that it should also be read in the congregation of the Laodiceans, and in order that you also should read the letter from Laodicea.

¹¹ Just-as you know, as we became with each one of you, like a father with his own children, encouraging you and consoling you\super\'b0

¹⁴ And if anyone is not obeying our word through this letter, mark that man and do not socialize together with him, in order that he may be embarrassed.

³ As I encouraged you to remain in Ephesus, when I was traveling into Macedonia, in order that you might command to some not to teach a different teaching,

¹⁸ I consign this command to you, my child Timothy, according to the prophesies preceding upon you, in order that you may be warring the good warfare by them;

⁷ Also command these things, in order that they may be unimpeachable.

²¹ I am thoroughly testifying in sight of God and the Lord Jesus Christ and the chosen messengers, in order that you should observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing according to bias.

¹³ I am commanding you in God’s sight, who gives-life to all things and of Christ Jesus, who in front of Pontius Pilate testified the good confession;

¹⁷ Command the rich in this current age, not to be cavalier, nor to have hope on the uncertainty of riches, but have hope in the living God, who is richly providing to us all things toward enjoyment;

¹ Therefore, I am thoroughly testifying in the sight of God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who is about to judge the living and the dead according to his appearing and his kingdom.

¹ Hence, holy brethren, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider Jesus Christ, the Apostle and High-Priest of our confession;

⁷ To all those who are in Rome, beloved of God, called holy-ones: grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

²³ Gaius greets you, my host and of the whole congregation. Erastus the steward of the city greets you and Quartus the brother.

¹⁸ The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is with all of you. Amen.
