²² And in that day I will set apart the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies will be there, to the end you may know that I am Jehovah in the midst of the earth.

¹⁷ Jehovah says thus, In this you will know that I am Jehovah. Behold, I will kill* with the rod that is in my hand upon the waters which are in the river and they will be turned to blood.

¹⁰ And he said, Tomorrow. And he said, Be it according to your word, that you may know that there is none like Jehovah our God.

⁴ And Jehovah will make a distinction between the cattle of Israel and the cattle of Egypt and there will nothing die of all that belongs to the sons of Israel.

⁶ And Jehovah did that thing on the morrow and all the cattle of Egypt died, but of the cattle of the sons of Israel not one died.

²⁶ Only in the land of Goshen, where the sons of Israel were, was there no hail.

²⁹ And Moses said to him, As soon as I have gone out of the city, I will spread abroad my hands to Jehovah. The thunders will cease, neither will there be any more hail, that you may know that the earth is Jehovah's.

²³ they did not see each other, neither did anyone rise from his place for three days, but all the sons of Israel had light in their dwellings.

⁶ And there will be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there has not been, nor will be any more. ⁷ But against any of the sons of Israel will not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast, that you* may know how that Jehovah makes a distinction between the Egyptians and Israel.

¹³ And the blood will be to you* for a sign upon the houses where you* are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you* and there will no plague be upon you* to destroy you*, when I kill* the land of Egypt.

¹² Yet God is my King of long-ago, working salvation in the midst of the earth.

² Jehovah will send forth the rod of your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of your enemies.

¹⁹ Thus I will execute judgments upon Egypt and they will know that I am Jehovah.

¹⁸ Then you* will return and discern between the righteous man and the wicked man, between he who serves God and he who does not serve him.
