¹ Now it happened in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river Chebar, that the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God.
² In the fifth day of the month, which was the fifth year of king Jehoiachin's captivity, ³ the word of Jehovah came expressly to Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar and the hand of Jehovah was there upon him.
⁴ And I looked, and behold, a stormy wind came out of the north, a great cloud, with a fire enfolding itself and a brightness all around it and out of the midst of it, as it were glowing metal, out of the midst of the fire.
⁵ And out of the midst of it came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance. They had the likeness of a man.
⁶ And each one had four faces and each one of them had four wings. ⁷ And their feet were straight feet and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf's foot and they sparkled like burnished brass. ⁸ And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides. And those four had their faces and their wings thus: ⁹ Their wings were joined one to another. They did not turn when they went; they went each one straight forward.
¹⁰ As for the likeness of their faces, they had the face of a man. And those four had the face of a lion on the right side and those four had the face of an ox on the left side, those four also had the face of an eagle. ¹¹ And their faces and their wings were separate above, two wings of each one were joined one to another and two covered their bodies.
¹² And they went each one straight forward. Where the spirit was to go, they went. They did not turn when they went.
¹³ As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, like the appearance of torches. It went up and down among the living creatures and the fire was bright and out of the fire went forth lightning. ¹⁴ And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning.
¹⁵ Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold, one wheel was upon the earth beside the living creatures, for each of the four faces of it. ¹⁶ The appearance of the wheels and their work was like a beryl. And those four had one likeness and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel within a wheel.
¹⁷ When they went, they went in their four directions. They did not turn when they went. ¹⁸ As for their rims, they were high and fearful. And those four had their rims full of eyes all around. ¹⁹ And when the living creatures went, the wheels went beside them. And when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.
²⁰ Wherever the spirit was to go, they went; there the spirit was to go. And the wheels were lifted up beside them, for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels. ²¹ When those went, these went and when those stood, these stood and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up beside them, for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.
²² And over the head of the living creature there was the likeness of an expanse, like awesome crystal to look upon, stretched forth over their heads above. ²³ And under the expanse their wings were straight, the one toward the other. Each one had two which covered their bodies on this side and each one had two which covered on that side.
²⁴ And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings like the noise of great waters, like the voice of the Almighty, a noise of tumult like the noise of a host. When they stood, they let down their wings. ²⁵ And there was a voice above the expanse that was over their heads. When they stood, they let down their wings.
²⁶ And above the expanse that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone. And upon the likeness of the throne was a likeness as the appearance of a man upon it above.
²⁷ And I saw as it were glowing metal, as the appearance of fire within it all around, from the appearance of his loins and upward. And from the appearance of his loins and downward I saw as it were the appearance of fire. And there was brightness all around him.
²⁸ As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness all around. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of Jehovah. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face and I heard a voice speaking.

¹ After these things the word of Jehovah came to Abram in a vision, saying, Do not fear, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.

² And God spoke to Israel in the visions of the night and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here I am.

¹⁰ And they saw the God of Israel. And there was under his feet as it were a paved work of sapphire stone and as it were the very heaven for clearness.

³ from thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all who enter upon the service, to do the work in the tent of meeting.

⁶ And he said, Hear now my words. If there is a prophet among you*, I Jehovah will make myself known to him in a vision. I will speak with him in a dream.

¹ This I laid to my heart for all, even to explore all this, that the righteous and the wise and their works, are in the hand of God. No man understands, either love or hatred. All is before them.
² All things come alike to all. There is one event to the righteous man and to the wicked man, to the good man and to the clean man and to the unclean man, to him who sacrifices and to him who does not sacrifice, as is the good man, so is the sinner and he who swears, as he who fears an oath.

¹ The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.

⁵ Jehovah says thus, the God of Israel: Like these good figs, so I will regard the captives of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans, for good.
⁶ For I will set my eyes upon them for good and I will bring them again to this land. And I will build them and not pull them down and I will plant them and not pluck them up. ⁷ And I will give them a heart to know me, that I am Jehovah. And they will be my people and I will be their God, for they will return to me with their whole heart.

³ the word of Jehovah came expressly to Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar and the hand of Jehovah was there upon him.

¹⁵ Then I came to those of the captivity at Tel-abib, who dwelt by the river Chebar and to where they dwelt. And I sat there overwhelmed among them seven days.

²³ Then I arose and went forth into the plain. And behold, the glory of Jehovah stood there, as the glory which I saw by the river Chebar and I fell on my face.

³ And he put forth the form of a hand and took me by a lock of my head. And the Spirit lifted me up between earth and heaven and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the gate of the inner court that looks toward the north, where the seat of the image of jealousy was, which provokes to jealousy.

¹⁵ And the cherubim mounted up. This is the living creature that I saw by the river Chebar.

²⁰ This is the living creature that I saw under the God of Israel by the river Chebar and I knew that they were cherubim.

²² And as for the likeness of their faces, they were the faces which I saw by the river Chebar, their appearances and themselves. They went each one straight forward.

²⁴ And the Spirit lifted me up and brought me in the vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to those of the captivity. So the vision that I had seen went up from me.

² He brought me in the visions of God into the land of Israel and set me down upon a very high mountain, upon which was as it were the frame of a city on the south.

³ And it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city. And the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar. And I fell upon my face.

¹ In the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar a vision appeared to me, even to me, Daniel, after what appeared to me at the first. ² And I saw in the vision, now it was so, that when I saw, I was in Shushan the palace, which is in the province of Elam and I saw in the vision and I was by the river Ulai.

¹⁰ I have also spoken to the prophets and I have multiplied visions. And I have used similitudes by the ministry of the prophets.

²⁸ And it will happen afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh and your* sons and your* daughters will prophesy. Your* old men will dream dreams. Your* young men will see visions.

¹⁶ And Jesus when he was immersed, came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God coming down, like a dove, and coming upon him;

⁹ And while coming down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, saying, Tell the vision to no one, until the Son of Man should rise from the dead.

¹⁰ And immediately coming up from the water, he saw the heavens being split-apart, and the Spirit like a dove coming down upon him.

²¹ Now it happened, while all the people were immersed; when Jesus also was immersed, and while praying, the heaven was opened,

²³ And he was approximately thirty years old, when beginning to teach, (as it was supposed, the son of Joseph). Although Jesus, himself was a descendant from Heli,

⁵¹ And he says to him, Assuredly, assuredly, I am saying to you, From now on, you will be seeing the heaven has opened, and the messengers of God ascending and coming down upon the Son of Man.

⁵⁶ and said, Behold, I am viewing the heavens that have been opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.

¹⁰ Now there was a certain disciple in Damascus, Ananias by name, and the Lord said to him in a vision, Ananias.
And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.
¹¹ Now the Lord said to him, When you stand up, travel to the lane which is called Straight and seek one from Tarsus, Saul by name, in the house of Judas; for behold, he is praying; ¹² and he has seen in a vision a man, Ananias by name, who came in and laid a hand on him, in order that he might recover his sight.

³ He saw openly in a vision, at approximately the ninth hour of the day, a messenger of God who came to him and said to him, Cornelius.

¹¹ And he views the heaven having opened and a certain vessel coming down, like a great sheet having been bound and being dropped down by four edges upon the earth;

¹ It is not advantageous for me to boast! For I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.

¹ I saw after these things, and behold, a door has been opened in heaven and the first voice which I heard speaking with me, a voice like that of a trumpet, saying, Come up here and I will be showing you what things are essential to happen after these things.

¹¹ And I saw the heaven has been opened, and behold, a white horse and he who sits upon it being called Faithful and True, and he is judging in righteousness and is making war.

¹² And Jehoiachin the king of Judah went out to the king of Babylon, he and his mother and his servants and his princes and his officers. And the king of Babylon took him in the eighth year of his reign.
¹³ And he carried out from there all the treasures of the house of Jehovah and the treasures of the king's house and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold, which Solomon King of Israel had made in the temple of Jehovah, as Jehovah had said. ¹⁴ And he carried away all Jerusalem and all the rulers and all the mighty men of valor, even ten thousand captives and all the craftsmen and the blacksmiths. None remained except the poorest sort of the people of the land.
¹⁵ And he carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon. And the king's mother and the king's wives and his officers and the chief men of the land, he carried into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon.

¹ And it happened in the sixth year, in the sixth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I sat in my house and the elders of Judah sat before me, that the hand of the lord Jehovah fell there upon me.

¹ And it happened in the seventh year, in the fifth month, the tenth day of the month, that certain of the elders of Israel came to inquire of Jehovah and sat before me.

¹ In the tenth year, in the tenth month, in the twelfth day of the month, the word of Jehovah came to me, saying,

¹⁷ And it happened in the twenty-seventh year, in the first month, in the first day of the month, the word of Jehovah came to me, saying,

¹ And it happened in the eleventh year, in the third month, in the first day of the month, that the word of Jehovah came to me, saying,

¹ In the twenty-fifth year of our captivity, in the beginning of the year, in the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city was struck, in the same day, the hand of Jehovah was upon me and he brought me there.

⁴⁶ And the hand of Jehovah was on Elijah and he girded up his loins and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.

¹⁵ But now bring me a minstrel. And it happened, when the minstrel played, that the hand of Jehovah came upon him.

² to whom the word of Jehovah came in the days of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his reign.

⁴ Now the word of Jehovah came to me, saying,

¹ Now it happened in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river Chebar, that the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God.

¹⁴ So the Spirit lifted me up and took me away. And I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit and the hand of Jehovah was strong upon me.

²² And the hand of Jehovah was there upon me and he said to me, Arise, go forth into the plain and I will talk with you there.

²² Now the hand of Jehovah had been upon me in the evening, before he who escaped came. And he had opened my mouth until he came to me in the morning. And my mouth was opened and I was no more mute.

¹ The hand of Jehovah was upon me and he brought me out in the Spirit of Jehovah and set me down in the midst of the valley and it was full of bones.

¹ The word of Jehovah that came to Hosea the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah, kings of Judah and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, King of Israel.

¹ The word of Jehovah that came to Joel the son of Pethuel.

¹ But the Spirit expressly says, In later times some will be withdrawing from the faith, taking-heed to misleading spirits and teachings of demons,

¹⁶ And it happened on the third day, when it was morning, that there were thunders and lightnings and a thick cloud upon the mountain and the voice of an exceedingly loud trumpet. And all the people who were in the camp trembled.
¹⁷ And Moses brought out the people out of the camp to meet God and they stood at the lower part of the mountain. ¹⁸ And Mount Sinai, the whole of it, smoked, because Jehovah descended upon it in fire and the smoke of it ascended as the smoke of a furnace. And the whole mountain quaked greatly.

¹⁶ And the glory of Jehovah abode upon Mount Sinai and the cloud covered it six days. And the seventh day he called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud. ¹⁷ And the appearance of the glory of Jehovah was like devouring fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the sons of Israel.

¹¹ And you* came near and stood under the mountain and the mountain burned with fire to the heart of heaven, with darkness, cloud and thick darkness.
¹² And Jehovah spoke to you* out of the midst of the fire. You* heard the voice of words, but you* saw no form, only a voice.

¹³ it happened, when the trumpeters and singers were as one voice, to sound-aloud in praising and thanking Jehovah. And when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music and praised Jehovah, saying, For he is good. For his loving kindness is everlasting, that the house was then filled with a cloud, even the house of Jehovah,

¹ Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices. And the glory of Jehovah filled the house. ² And the priests could not enter into the house of Jehovah, because the glory of Jehovah filled Jehovah's house.
³ And all the sons of Israel looked on when the fire came down and the glory of Jehovah was upon the house. And they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement and worshiped and gave thanks to Jehovah, saying, For he is good. For his loving kindness is everlasting.

¹¹ He made darkness his hiding-place, his pavilion all around him, darkness of waters, thick clouds of the skies.
¹² At the brightness before him his thick clouds passed, hailstones and coals of fire. ¹³ Jehovah also thundered in the heavens and the Most High uttered his voice, hailstones and coals of fire.

³ Our God comes and does not keep silence. A fire devours before him and it whirlwinds much all around him.

² Clouds and darkness are all around him. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.
³ A fire goes before him and burns up his adversaries all around.

³ who lays the beams of his chambers in the waters, who makes the clouds his chariot, who walks upon the wings of the wind, ⁴ who makes his messengers spirits, his ministers a flame of fire,

¹ The burden of Egypt. Behold, Jehovah rides upon a swift cloud and comes to Egypt. And the idols of Egypt will tremble at his presence and the heart of Egypt will melt in the midst of it.

¹ The burden of the wilderness of the sea. As whirlwinds in the South sweep through, it comes from the wilderness, from a terrible land.

¹³ And the word of Jehovah came to me the second time, saying, What do you see? And I said, I see a boiling caldron and the face of it is from the north. ¹⁴ Then Jehovah said to me, Out of the north evil will break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land.

⁶ Set up a standard toward Zion. Flee for safety, do not stay. For I will bring evil from the north and a great destruction.

¹ Flee for safety, you* sons of Benjamin, out of the midst of Jerusalem. And blow the trumpet in Tekoa and raise up a signal on Beth-haccherem. For evil looks forth from the north and a great destruction.

¹⁹ Behold, the tempest of Jehovah, wrath, has gone forth, yes, a whirling tempest. It will burst upon the head of the wicked.

⁹ behold, I will send and take all the families of the north, says Jehovah and Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant and will bring them against this land and against the inhabitants of it and against all these nations all around. And I will utterly destroy them and make them an astonishment and a hissing and everlasting desolations.

³² Jehovah of hosts says thus: Behold, evil will go forth from nation to nation and a great tempest will be raised up from the outermost parts of the earth.

²⁷ And I saw as it were glowing metal, as the appearance of fire within it all around, from the appearance of his loins and upward. And from the appearance of his loins and downward I saw as it were the appearance of fire. And there was brightness all around him.

² Then I beheld, and behold, a likeness as the appearance of fire, from the appearance of his loins and downward, fire and from his loins and upward, as the appearance of brightness, as it were glowing metal.

² And he spoke to the man clothed in linen and said, Go in between the whirling wheels, even under the cherub and fill both your hands with coals of fire from between the cherubim and scatter them over the city. And he entered in my sight.
³ Now the cherubim stood on the right side of the house when the man went in and the cloud filled the inner court. ⁴ And the glory of Jehovah mounted up from the cherub, over the threshold of the house. And the house was filled with the cloud and the court was full of the brightness of Jehovah's glory.

⁸ And there appeared in the cherubim the form of a man's hand under their wings. ⁹ And I looked, and behold, four wheels beside the cherubim, one wheel beside one cherub and another wheel beside another cherub. And the appearance of the wheels was like a beryl stone.

³ Jehovah is slow to anger and great in power and will by no means clear the guilty.
Jehovah has his way in the whirlwind and in the storm and the clouds are the dust of his feet. ⁴ He rebukes the sea and makes it dry and dries up all the rivers. Bashan languishes and Carmel and the flower of Lebanon languishes. ⁵ The mountains quake at him and the hills melt and the earth is upheaved at his presence. Yes, the world and all who dwell in it.
⁶ Who can stand before his indignation? And who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? His wrath is poured out like fire and the rocks are broken apart by him.

⁸ Their horses also are swifter than leopards and are more fierce than the evening wolves. And their horsemen press proudly on. Yes, their horsemen come from far. They fly as an eagle that hastens to devour. ⁹ They come all of them for violence. The set of their faces is forwards and they gather captives as the sand.

³ God came from Teman and the Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens and the earth was full of his praise. ⁴ And his brightness was as the light. He had rays from his hand and there was the hiding of his power. ⁵ Before him went the pestilence. And fiery bolts went forth at his feet.

²⁹ for our God is also a consuming fire.

¹⁵ and his feet similar to polished brass, like what has been refined in a furnace, and his voice like the voice of many waters.

²⁶ And above the expanse that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone. And upon the likeness of the throne was a likeness as the appearance of a man upon it above.

⁶ and in the sight of his throne, like a glassy sea similar to crystal, and in the middle of the throne and in a circle of the throne, four living creatures full of eyes before and behind. ⁷ And the first living creature was similar to a lion and the second living creature was similar to a calf and the third living creature having a face like that of a man and the fourth living creature was similar to a flying eagle. ⁸ And the four living creatures, one by one, having six wings apiece, are full of eyes inside and surrounding, and they have no rest day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is coming.

⁶ And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, Liter containers of grain for a denarius and three liter containers of barley for a denarius, and do not hurt the oil and the wine.

²⁰ And the cherubim will spread out their wings on high, covering the mercy-seat with their wings, with their faces one to another; the faces of the cherubim will be toward the mercy-seat.

²⁴ And five cubits was the one wing of the cherub and five cubits the other wing of the cherub. From the outermost part of the one wing to the outermost part of the other were ten cubits. ²⁵ And the other cherub was ten cubits; both of the cherubim were of one measure and one form. ²⁶ The height of the one cherub was ten cubits and so it was of the other cherub.
²⁷ And he set the cherubim inside the inner house. And the wings of the cherubim were stretched forth, so that the wing of the one touched the one wall and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall. And their wings touched each another in the middle of the house.

² Above him stood the seraphim. Each one had six wings, with two he covered his face and with two he covered his feet and with two he flew.

⁸ And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides. And those four had their faces and their wings thus: ⁹ Their wings were joined one to another. They did not turn when they went; they went each one straight forward.
¹⁰ As for the likeness of their faces, they had the face of a man. ²¹ Each one had four faces and each one four wings. And the likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings. ²² And as for the likeness of their faces, they were the faces which I saw by the river Chebar, their appearances and themselves. They went each one straight forward.

³ Whatever parts the hoof and is cloven footed and chews the cud, among the beasts, that may you* eat.

⁴⁷ to make a distinction between the unclean and the clean and between the living thing that may be eaten and the living thing that may not be eaten.

⁴ who makes his messengers spirits, his ministers a flame of fire,

¹³ As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, like the appearance of torches. It went up and down among the living creatures and the fire was bright and out of the fire went forth lightning.

⁶ Also his body was like the beryl and his face as the appearance of lightning and his eyes as flaming torches and his arms and his feet like burnished brass and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.

⁶ Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from the altar.

¹⁷ When they went, they went in their four directions. They did not turn when they went.

² And he spoke to the man clothed in linen and said, Go in between the whirling wheels, even under the cherub and fill both your hands with coals of fire from between the cherubim and scatter them over the city. And he entered in my sight.

⁷ And the cherub stretched forth his hand from between the cherubim to the fire that was between the cherubim and took and put it into the hands of him who was clothed in linen, who took it and went out.
⁸ And there appeared in the cherubim the form of a man's hand under their wings.

¹¹ When they went, they went in their four directions. They did not turn as they went, but to the place where the head looked they followed it. They did not turn as they went.

¹⁸ And the glory of Jehovah went forth from over the threshold of the house and stood over the cherubim.

²¹ Each one had four faces and each one four wings. And the likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings.

¹¹ And the wings of the cherubim were twenty cubits long; the wing of the one was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house and the other wing was likewise five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub. ¹² And the wing of the other cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house and the other wing was five cubits also, joining to the wing of the other cherub.

²⁵ Let your eyes look right on and let your eyelids look straight before you. ²⁶ Make the path of your feet level and let all your ways be established. ²⁷ Do not turn to the right hand nor to the left. Remove your foot from evil.

¹¹ And their faces and their wings were separate above, two wings of each one were joined one to another and two covered their bodies.
¹² And they went each one straight forward. Where the spirit was to go, they went. They did not turn when they went.

⁵¹ Now it happened, when the days were being fulfilled of his taking up, he established his face to travel to Jerusalem,

⁶² But Jesus said to him, No one, having put his hand upon the plow and looking behind, is fit for the kingdom of God.

¹⁰ Now brethren, I am pleading with you through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, in order that you all should speak the same thing and there should be no splits among you, but you should be framed together in the same mind and in the same viewpoint.

³ And those who encamp on the east side toward the sunrise will be those of the standard of the camp of Judah, according to their armies. And the ruler of the sons of Judah will be Nahshon the son of Amminadab.

¹⁰ On the south side will be the standard of the camp of Reuben according to their armies. And the ruler of the sons of Reuben will be Elizur the son of Shedeur.

¹⁸ On the west side will be the standard of the camp of Ephraim according to their armies. And the ruler of the sons of Ephraim will be Elishama the son of Ammihud.

²⁵ On the north side will be the standard of the camp of Dan according to their armies. And the ruler of the sons of Dan will be Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.

⁴⁹ Jehovah will bring a nation against you from far, from the end of the earth, as the eagle flies, a nation whose tongue you will not understand,

¹⁸ And the men of the city said to him on the seventh day before the sun went down, What is sweeter than honey? and what is stronger than a lion? And he said to them, If you* had not plowed with my heifer, you* would not have found out my riddle.

⁸ And of the Gadites there separated themselves to David to the stronghold in the wilderness, mighty men of valor, men trained for war, who could handle shield and spear, whose faces were like the faces of lions and they were as swift as the roes upon the mountains:

²⁷ Is it at your command that the eagle mounts up and makes her nest on high?

⁴ Where no oxen are, the crib is clean, but by the strength of the ox is much increase.

³¹ But those who wait for Jehovah will renew their strength. They will mount up with pinions like eagles. They will run and not be weary. They will walk and not faint.

⁸ Remember this and show yourselves men. Bring it again to mind, O you* transgressors.

⁴ The first was like a lion and had eagle's wings. I beheld till the wings of it were plucked and it was lifted up from the earth and made to stand upon two feet as a man and a man's heart was given to it.

¹⁰ Even so, I say to you, There becomes joy in the sight of the messengers of God over one repenting sinner.

⁹ For it has been written in the Law of Moses, ‘You will not muzzle a threshing bull.’God does not care only for the bulls, does he? ¹⁰ Or does he certainly say it because of us? For it was written because of us, that the one who is plowing ought to plow in hope, and the one who is threshing ought to thresh in hope to partake of his hope.

²⁰ Brethren, do not become children in your mindsets, (but be infants in malice), but become mature in your mindsets.

⁷ And the first living creature was similar to a lion and the second living creature was similar to a calf and the third living creature having a face like that of a man and the fourth living creature was similar to a flying eagle.

⁵ And one out of the elders says to me, Do not weep; behold, the Lion who is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome, so as to open the book and its seven seals.

²³ And under the expanse their wings were straight, the one toward the other. Each one had two which covered their bodies on this side and each one had two which covered on that side.

¹⁶ And when the cherubim went, the wheels went beside them. And when the cherubim lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the wheels also did not turn from beside them.

¹⁹ And the cherubim lifted up their wings and mounted up from the earth in my sight when they went forth and the wheels beside them. And they stood at the door of the east gate of Jehovah's house and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.

⁹ Their wings were joined one to another. They did not turn when they went; they went each one straight forward.

²⁰ Wherever the spirit was to go, they went; there the spirit was to go. And the wheels were lifted up beside them, for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels. ²¹ When those went, these went and when those stood, these stood and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up beside them, for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.

¹⁴ Are they not all ministering spirits, being sent forth into service because of those who are about to inherit salvation?

¹⁷ And it happened, that, when the sun went down and it was dark, behold, there appeared a smoking furnace and a flaming torch that passed between these pieces.

⁷ And their feet were straight feet and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf's foot and they sparkled like burnished brass.

⁵ I lifted up my eyes and looked. And behold, a man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with pure gold of Uphaz. ⁶ Also his body was like the beryl and his face as the appearance of lightning and his eyes as flaming torches and his arms and his feet like burnished brass and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.

³ His form was like lightning and his clothing was white like snow;

⁵ And lightnings and voices and thunders traveled out from the throne. And there were seven torches of fire burning in the sight of the throne, which are the seven spirits of God;

¹ And I saw a strong messenger coming down from heaven, having been dressed with a cloud, and the rainbow is upon his head and his face is like the sun and his feet like pillars of fire;

¹ I saw after these things, another messenger coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated from his glory.

¹⁵ He sends out his commandment upon earth. His word runs very swiftly.

²¹ yes, while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.

³ And behold, the messenger who talked with me went forth. And another messenger went out to meet him, ⁴ and said to him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem will be inhabited as villages without walls, because of the multitude of men and cattle in it.

¹⁰ For who has despised the day of small things? For these seven will rejoice and will see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel, the eyes of Jehovah, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

²⁷ For just-like the lightning comes from the east and appears even to the west; so also will be the presence of the Son of Man.

³¹ And he will be sending forth his messengers with a loud voice of a trumpet, and they will be gathering together his chosen from the four winds, from the tip of the heavens to the tip of their four winds.

²⁷ And then he will be sending forth his messengers and will be gathering together his chosen from the four winds, from the tip of the earth to the tip of heaven.

²⁴ For just-like the lightning, which flashes from the one end under heaven, and shines to the other end under heaven; so will the Son of Man be in his day.

⁶ And each one had four faces and each one of them had four wings.

¹⁹ And when the living creatures went, the wheels went beside them. And when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.

⁹ And I looked, and behold, four wheels beside the cherubim, one wheel beside one cherub and another wheel beside another cherub. And the appearance of the wheels was like a beryl stone.

¹³ As for the wheels, they were called in my hearing, O wheel.
¹⁴ And each one had four faces. The first face was the face of the cherub and the second face was the face of a man and the third face the face of a lion and the fourth the face of an eagle.
¹⁵ And the cherubim mounted up. This is the living creature that I saw by the river Chebar. ¹⁶ And when the cherubim went, the wheels went beside them. And when the cherubim lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the wheels also did not turn from beside them. ¹⁷ When they stood, these stood and when they mounted up, these mounted up with them, for the spirit of the living creature was in them.

⁹ I beheld till thrones were placed and one who was ancient of days sat. His garments was white as snow and the hair of his head like pure wool. His throne was fiery flames and the wheels of it burning fire.

¹³ and the fourth row, a beryl, an onyx and a jasper. They were set in enclosures of gold in their settings.

¹⁰ who does great things past finding out, yes, marvelous things without number.

⁶ Your righteousness is like the mountains of God. Your judgments are a great deep. O Jehovah, you preserve man and beast.

⁵ Many, O Jehovah my God, are the wonderful works which you have done and your thoughts which are toward us. They cannot be set in order to you. If I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

⁹ And I looked, and behold, four wheels beside the cherubim, one wheel beside one cherub and another wheel beside another cherub. And the appearance of the wheels was like a beryl stone. ¹⁰ And as for their appearance, those four had one likeness, as if a wheel have been within a wheel.
¹¹ When they went, they went in their four directions. They did not turn as they went, but to the place where the head looked they followed it. They did not turn as they went.

³³ O the depth of the riches, and of the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and untraceable his ways!

¹⁰ in order that now the multifaceted wisdom of God might be made known to the principalities and the authorities in the heavenly places through the congregation of believers. \ulnone\nosupersub

¹¹ so will my word be that goes forth out of my mouth. It will not return to me void, but it will accomplish what I please. And it will prosper in the thing to which I sent it.

¹² And they went each one straight forward. Where the spirit was to go, they went. They did not turn when they went.

¹ Then I looked, and behold, in the expanse that was over the head of the cherubim there appeared above them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.
² And he spoke to the man clothed in linen and said, Go in between the whirling wheels, even under the cherub and fill both your hands with coals of fire from between the cherubim and scatter them over the city. And he entered in my sight.
³ Now the cherubim stood on the right side of the house when the man went in and the cloud filled the inner court. ⁴ And the glory of Jehovah mounted up from the cherub, over the threshold of the house. And the house was filled with the cloud and the court was full of the brightness of Jehovah's glory. ⁵ And the sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of God Almighty when he speaks.
⁶ And it happened, when he commanded the man clothed in linen, saying, Take fire from between the whirling wheels, from between the cherubim, that he went in and stood beside a wheel. ⁷ And the cherub stretched forth his hand from between the cherubim to the fire that was between the cherubim and took and put it into the hands of him who was clothed in linen, who took it and went out.
⁸ And there appeared in the cherubim the form of a man's hand under their wings.

²² Out of the north comes golden splendor. God has upon him awesome majesty.
²³ O the Almighty, we cannot find him out. He is excellent in power. And in justice and abundant righteousness he will not afflict. ²⁴ Men therefore fear him. He does not regard any who are wise of heart.

¹⁶ The waters saw you, O God, the waters saw you. They were afraid. The depths also trembled. ¹⁷ The clouds poured out water. The skies sent out a sound. Your arrows also went abroad.
¹⁸ The voice of your thunder was in the whirlwind. The lightnings lightened the world. The earth trembled and shook.
¹⁹ Your way was in the sea and your paths in the great waters. And your footsteps were not known.

² Clouds and darkness are all around him. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.
³ A fire goes before him and burns up his adversaries all around. ⁴ His lightnings lightened the world. The earth saw and trembled. ⁵ The mountains melted like wax at the presence of Jehovah, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

³ The eyes of Jehovah are in every place, keeping watch upon the evil and the good.

⁹ For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your* ways and my thoughts than your* thoughts.

¹² And their whole body and their backs and their hands and their wings and the wheels, were full of eyes all around, even the wheels that those four had.

⁶ and in the sight of his throne, like a glassy sea similar to crystal, and in the middle of the throne and in a circle of the throne, four living creatures full of eyes before and behind.

⁸ And the four living creatures, one by one, having six wings apiece, are full of eyes inside and surrounding, and they have no rest day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is coming.

²⁰ Praise Jehovah, you* his messengers, who are mighty in strength, who fulfill his word, listening to the voice of his word.

¹⁷ When they stood, these stood and when they mounted up, these mounted up with them, for the spirit of the living creature was in them.

¹ And again I lifted up my eyes and looked. And behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains and the mountains were mountains of brass. ² In the first chariot were red horses and in the second chariot black horses, ³ and in the third chariot white horses and in the fourth chariot strong grayed horses.
⁴ Then I answered and said to the messenger who talked with me, What are these, my lord? ⁵ And the messenger answered and said to me, These are the four winds of heaven, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth. ⁶ The chariot in which are the black horses goes forth toward the north country and the white horses went forth after them and the grayed horses went forth toward the south country.
⁷ And the strong ones went forth and sought to go that they might walk to and fro through the earth. And he said, You* get from here. Walk to and fro through the earth. So they walked to and fro through the earth. ⁸ Then he cried to me and spoke to me, saying, Behold, those who go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.

³² The spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets;

¹⁹ And when the living creatures went, the wheels went beside them. And when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.
²⁰ Wherever the spirit was to go, they went; there the spirit was to go. And the wheels were lifted up beside them, for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.

² For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free away from the law of sin and of death.

³ was one similar in appearance to a jasper stone and a carnelian and there was a rainbow surrounding the throne, similar in appearance to an emerald.

¹¹ having the glory of God. Her illumination was similar to a precious stone, like a crystal-like jasper stone,

¹⁸ Behold, he puts no trust in his servants and he charges his messengers with error.

⁷ a God very awesome in the council of the holy ones and to be feared above all those who are all around him?

²⁴ And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings like the noise of great waters, like the voice of the Almighty, a noise of tumult like the noise of a host. When they stood, they let down their wings.

¹⁰ So also you, whenever you have done all the things which were commanded to you, say, We are useless bondservants, because we have done what we are obligated to have done.

⁶ For the Lord had made the army of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great army. And they said one to another, Behold, the King of Israel has hired against us the kings of the Hittites and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us.

² Hear, O, hear the noise of his voice and the rumbling that goes out of his mouth.

⁴ After it a voice roars. He thunders with the voice of his majesty and he does not restrain the lightnings when his voice is heard.
⁵ God thunders marvelously with his voice. He does great things which we cannot comprehend.

¹³ Jehovah also thundered in the heavens and the Most High uttered his voice, hailstones and coals of fire.

³ The voice of Jehovah is upon the waters. The God of glory thunders, even Jehovah upon many waters.
⁴ The voice of Jehovah is powerful. The voice of Jehovah is full of majesty.
⁵ The voice of Jehovah breaks the cedars. Yes, Jehovah breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon. ⁶ He makes them also to skip like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild-ox.
⁷ The voice of Jehovah splits the flames of fire.
⁸ The voice of Jehovah shakes the wilderness. Jehovah shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.
⁹ The voice of Jehovah makes the female-deers to birth-calves and strips the forests bare. And in his temple everything says, Glory.

³³ to him who rides upon the heaven of heavens, which are of long-ago. Behold, he utters his voice, a mighty voice.

⁵ And the sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of God Almighty when he speaks.

² And behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east. And his voice was like the sound of many waters and the earth shone with his glory.

⁶ And I heard as it was the voice of a large crowd and like the voice of many waters and like the voice of mighty thunders, saying, Hallelujah, because the Lord our God, the Almighty reigns.

²² And over the head of the living creature there was the likeness of an expanse, like awesome crystal to look upon, stretched forth over their heads above.

²⁴ And Jacob was left alone and a man wrestled with him until the breaking of the day. ²⁵ And when he saw that he did not prevail against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was strained as he wrestled with him.
²⁶ And he said, Let me go, because the day breaks. And he said, I will not let you go unless you bless me. ²⁷ And he said to him, What is your name? And he said, Jacob. ²⁸ And he said, Your name will be called Jacob no more, but Israel, because you have striven with God and with men and have prevailed.
²⁹ And Jacob asked him and said, I beseech you, tell me your name.
And he said, Why is it that you ask for my name? And he blessed him there.
³⁰ And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel, for, I have seen God face to face and my life is preserved.

¹³ And it happened, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, there stood a man opposite him with his sword drawn in his hand. And Joshua went to him and said to him, Are you for us, or for our adversaries?

⁶ Your throne, O God, is everlasting and forever. A scepter of straightness is the scepter of your kingdom.

¹ In the year that king Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up and his train filled the temple.

⁶ For to us a child is born, to us a son is given. And the government will be upon his shoulder. And his name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Father of Eternity, Prince of Peace.
⁷ Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and upon his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from hereafter until everlasting. The zeal of Jehovah of hosts will perform this.

¹¹ O you afflicted, tossed with tempest and not comforted, behold, I will set your stones in fair colors and lay your foundations with sapphires.

⁵ Behold, the days come, says Jehovah, that I will raise to David a righteous Branch and he will reign as king and deal wisely and will execute justice and righteousness in the land. ⁶ In his days Judah will be saved and Israel will dwell safely. And this is his name by which he will be called: Jehovah our righteousness.

⁹ I beheld till thrones were placed and one who was ancient of days sat. His garments was white as snow and the hair of his head like pure wool. His throne was fiery flames and the wheels of it burning fire. ¹⁰ A fiery stream was streaming and came out from before him. Thousands of thousands ministered to him and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him. The judgment was set and the books were opened.

¹⁴ And there was given him dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all the peoples, nations and languages should serve him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which will not pass away and his kingdom is one that will not be destroyed.

¹⁸ Then someone like the appearance of a man touched me again and he strengthened me.

¹³ even he will build the temple of Jehovah. And he will bear the glory and will sit and rule upon his throne. And he will be a priest upon his throne and the counsel of peace will be between them both.

¹³ Therefore watch, because you do not know the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.

¹⁸ And Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying, All authority has been given to me in heaven and upon earth.

²¹ up above all rule and authority and power and lordship and every name that is being named, not only in this age, but also in the future age. \ulnone\nosupersub ²² And he subjected all things under his feet and gave him to be head above all things to the congregation of believers,

⁹ Hence, God also highly exalted him, and granted to him the name which is above every name; ¹⁰ in order that every knee should bow in the name of Jesus, those from the heavenly and earthly and subterranean places,

⁸ But he says toward the Son, ‘Your throne, O God, is forevermore; the scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your kingdom.

¹ Now a summation upon the things which we are saying is this : we have such a high-priest, who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens,

² Looking away from things, look toward Jesus, the author and completer of the faith, who endured the cross having despised shame, in exchange-for the joy laying before him, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

²² who is at the right hand of God, having traveled into heaven; with messengers and authorities and powers having been made subject to him.

¹³ And one similar to a son of man was in the middle of the seven lamp-stands. He has clothed himself with a long-robe and the breasts are girded around with a golden belt.

²¹ He who overcomes, I will be giving to him to sit with me at my throne, as I also overcame and sat down with my Father at his throne.

² And immediately I became in the spirit and behold, a throne was placed in heaven, and sitting upon the throne ³ was one similar in appearance to a jasper stone and a carnelian and there was a rainbow surrounding the throne, similar in appearance to an emerald.

¹³ And every created thing which is in the heaven and upon the earth and underneath the earth and upon the sea and all things in them, I heard saying, To the one who is sitting upon the throne and to the Lamb, is the thanks and the honor and the glory and the dominion, forevermore. Amen.

¹⁴ And I saw and behold, a white cloud, and upon the cloud I saw one sitting similar to a son of man, having upon his head a golden crown and in his hand a sharp sickle.

¹¹ And I saw a great white throne and the one who sits upon it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away, and no place was found for them.

²⁴ For Jehovah your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.

² Clouds and darkness are all around him. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.

⁴ And I looked, and behold, a stormy wind came out of the north, a great cloud, with a fire enfolding itself and a brightness all around it and out of the midst of it, as it were glowing metal, out of the midst of the fire.

⁸ giving vengeance in a fire of flame to those who do not know God and to those who are not obeying the good-news of our Lord Jesus Christ,

¹⁴ Now his head and his hair were white like white wool, like snow, and his eyes were like a flame of fire; ¹⁵ and his feet similar to polished brass, like what has been refined in a furnace, and his voice like the voice of many waters. ¹⁶ And he has in his right hand seven stars and a sharp two edged long-sword traveled out from his mouth and his appearance was as the sun appears in its power.

¹³ I set my bow in the cloud and it will be for a sign of a covenant between me and the earth. ¹⁴ And it will happen, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow will be seen in the cloud. ¹⁵ And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you* and every living creature of all flesh. And the waters will no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. ¹⁶ And the bow will be in the cloud and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.

³ And Abram fell on his face. And God talked with him, saying,

⁷ and in the morning, then you* will see the glory of Jehovah, because he hears your* murmurings against Jehovah. And what are we, that you* murmur against us?

¹⁰ And it happened, as Aaron spoke to the whole congregation of the sons of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and behold, the glory of Jehovah appeared in the cloud.

¹⁶ And the glory of Jehovah abode upon Mount Sinai and the cloud covered it six days. And the seventh day he called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud.

¹⁸ And he said, I beseech you, show me your glory. ¹⁹ And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before you and will proclaim the name of Jehovah before you. I will be merciful to whom I may be merciful and I will be compassionate to whomever I may be compassionate. ²⁰ And he said, You cannot see my face, because man will not see me and live.
²¹ And Jehovah said, Behold, there is a place by me and you will stand upon the rock. ²² And it will happen, while my glory passes by, that I will put you in a cleft of the rock and will cover you with my hand until I have passed by. ²³ And I will take away my hand and you will see my back, but my face will not be seen.

²⁴ And there came out fire from before Jehovah and consumed the burnt offering and the fat upon the altar. And when all the people saw it, they shouted and fell on their faces.

⁶ And he said, Hear now my words. If there is a prophet among you*, I Jehovah will make myself known to him in a vision. I will speak with him in a dream. ⁷ My servant Moses is not so. He is faithful in all my house. ⁸ With him I will speak mouth to mouth, even manifestly and not in dark speeches and he has beheld the form of Jehovah. Why then were you* not afraid to speak against my servant, against Moses?

¹⁰ And it happened, when the priests came out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of Jehovah, ¹¹ so that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud, for the glory of Jehovah filled the house of Jehovah.

⁸ In overflowing wrath I hid my face from you for a moment, but with everlasting loving kindness I will have mercy on you, says Jehovah your Redeemer.
⁹ For this is as the waters of Noah to me. For as I have sworn that the waters of Noah will no more go over the earth, so I have sworn that I will not be angry with you, nor rebuke you. ¹⁰ For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my loving kindness will not depart from you, nor will my covenant of peace be shaken, says Jehovah who has mercy on you.

⁴ And behold, the glory of the God of Israel was there, according to the appearance that I saw in the plain.

¹⁹ And the cherubim lifted up their wings and mounted up from the earth in my sight when they went forth and the wheels beside them. And they stood at the door of the east gate of Jehovah's house and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.
²⁰ This is the living creature that I saw under the God of Israel by the river Chebar and I knew that they were cherubim.

²² Then the cherubim lifted up their wings and the wheels were beside them and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above. ²³ And the glory of Jehovah went up from the midst of the city and stood upon the mountain which is on the east side of the city.

³ And it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city. And the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar. And I fell upon my face.
⁴ And the glory of Jehovah came into the house by the way of the gate whose view is toward the east. ⁵ And the Spirit took me up and brought me into the inner court, and behold, the glory of Jehovah filled the house.

⁴ Then he brought me by the way of the north gate before the house. And I looked, and behold, the glory of Jehovah filled the house of Jehovah. And I fell upon my face.

¹⁷ So he came near where I stood. And when he came, I was frightened and fell upon my face. But he said to me, Understand, O son of man, for the vision belongs to the time of the end.

⁷ And I, Daniel, alone saw the vision, for the men who were with me did not see the vision, but a great quaking fell upon them and they fled to hide themselves.
⁸ So I was left alone and saw this great vision. And there remained no strength in me, for my fitness was turned in me into debility and I retained no strength. ⁹ Yet I heard the voice of his words. And when I heard the voice of his words, then I fell into a deep sleep on my face, with my face toward the ground.

¹⁶ And behold, someone in the likeness of the sons of men touched my lips. Then I opened my mouth and spoke and said to him who stood before me, O my lord, because of the vision my pains have turned upon me and I retain no strength. ¹⁷ For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? For as for me, immediately there remained no strength in me, nor was there breath left in me.

⁵ While he is still speaking, behold, a radiant cloud overshadowed them, and behold, a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am delighted; hear him!
⁶ And when the disciples heard it, they fell upon their face, and were extremely afraid.

⁴ and having fallen upon the earth, he heard a voice saying to him, Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?

¹² For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. I know now partially, but then I will fully know just-as I was also fully known.
