²³ The keeper of the prison did not look to anything that was under his hand, because Jehovah was with him and what he did, Jehovah made it prosper.

² And Jehovah was with Joseph. And he was a man who succeeds. And he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.
³ And his master saw that Jehovah was with him and that Jehovah made all that he did to prosper in his hand.

³ And he put them in confinement in the house of the captain of the guard, into the prison, the place where Joseph was bound. ⁴ And the captain of the guard charged Joseph with them and he ministered to them. And they continued a season in confinement.

²³ The archers embittered at him and shot at him and persecute him, ²⁴ but his bow abode in strength. And the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob (From there is the shepherd, the stone of Israel),

³⁰ Therefore Jehovah, the God of Israel, says, I said indeed that your house and the house of your father, should walk before me everlasting, but now Jehovah says, Be it far from me, for those who honor me I will honor and those who despise me will be lightly esteemed.

³ And he will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. And whatever he does will prosper.

³ Trust in Jehovah and do good. Dwell in the land and feed on his faithfulness. ⁴ Delight yourself also in Jehovah and he will give you the desires of your heart.
⁵ Commit your way to Jehovah. Trust also in him and he will do it. ⁶ And he will make your righteousness to go forth as the light and your justice as the noon-day.
⁷ Rest in Jehovah and wait patiently for him. Do not inflame yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked devices.
⁸ Cease from anger and forsake wrath. Do not inflame yourself, it leads only to evil-doing. ⁹ Because evildoers will be cut off, but those who wait for Jehovah, they will inherit the land.
¹⁰ Yet a little while and the wicked man will not be. Yes, you will diligently consider his place and he will not be.
¹¹ But the meek will inherit the land and will delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

² When you pass through the waters, I will be with you and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, nor will the flame kindle upon you.

²² My God has sent his messenger and has shut the lions' mouths and they have not hurt me, inasmuch as before him innocence was found in me. And also before you, O king, I have done no harm.
