10 For you* will be troubled days beyond a year, you* careless women. For the vintage will fail; the ingathering will not come.

Isaiah 3:17-26

24 And it will happen, that instead of sweet spices there will be rottenness and instead of a belt, a rope and instead of well set hair, baldness and instead of a robe, a girding of sackcloth, branding instead of beauty. 25 Your men will fall by the sword and your mighty in the war. 26 And her gates will lament and mourn and she will be desolate and sit upon the ground.

Isaiah 5:5-6

5 And now I will tell you* what I will do to my vineyard. I will take away the hedge of it and it will be eaten up. I will break down the wall of it and it will be trodden down. 6 And I will lay it waste. It will not be pruned nor hoed, but there will come up briers and thorns. I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.

Isaiah 7:23

23 And it will happen in that day, that every place where there were a thousand vines at a thousand silver coins, will be for briers and thorns.

Isaiah 16:10

10 And gladness is taken away and joy out of the fruitful field. And there will be no singing nor joyful noise in the vineyards. No treader will tread out wine in the presses. I have made the vintage shout to cease.

Isaiah 24:7-12

7 The new wine mourns. The vine languishes. All the merry-hearted do sigh. 8 The joy of tambourine ceases. The noise of those who rejoice ends. The joy of the harp ceases. 9 They will not drink wine with a song. Strong drink will be bitter to those who drink it. 10 The waste city is broken down. Every house is shut up, that no man may come in. 11 There is a crying in the streets because of the wine. All joy is darkened. The gladness of the land has gone. 12 Desolation is left in the city and the gate is struck with destruction.

Jeremiah 8:13

13 I will utterly consume them, says Jehovah. There will be no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig tree and the leaf will fade and things I have given them will pass away from them.

Jeremiah 25:10-11

10 Moreover I will take from them the voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones and the light of the lamp. 11 And this whole land will be a desolation and an astonishment.
