Isaiah 43:1 Cross References - MLV

¹ But now Jehovah says thus who created you, O Jacob and he who formed you, O Israel: Do not fear, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name, You are mine.

²⁸ And he said, Your name will be called Jacob no more, but Israel, because you have striven with God and with men and have prevailed.

¹³ You in your loving kindness have led the people that you have redeemed. You have guided them in your strength to your holy habitation.

⁵ Now therefore, if you* will obey my voice indeed and keep my covenant, then you* will be my own possession from among all peoples, for all the earth is mine, ⁶ and you* will be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. These are the words which you will speak to the sons of Israel.

¹⁷ And Jehovah said to Moses, I will do this thing also that you have spoken, because you have found favor in my sight and I know you by name.

⁹ For Jehovah's portion is his people. Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.

³ Know that Jehovah, he is God. It is he who has made us and we are his. We are his people and the sheep of his pasture.

¹⁸ This will be written for the generation to come. And a people which will be created will praise Jehovah.

⁹ No lion will be there, nor will any ravenous beast go up in it. They will not be found there. But the redeemed will walk there.
¹⁰ And the ransomed of Jehovah will return and come with singing to Zion. And everlasting joy will be upon their heads. They will obtain gladness and joy. And sorrow and sighing will flee away.

¹⁴ Do not fear, you worm Jacob and you* men of Israel. I will help you, says Jehovah and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.

⁶ I, Jehovah, have called you in righteousness and will hold your hand and will keep you and give you for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles,

⁷ everyone who is called by my name and whom I have created for my glory, whom I have formed, yes, whom I have made.

¹⁴ Jehovah says thus, your* Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: For your* sake I have sent to Babylon and I will bring down all of them as fugitives, even the Chaldeans, in the ships of their rejoicing. ¹⁵ I am Jehovah, your* Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your* King.

²¹ the people whom I formed for myself, that they might set forth my praise.

² Jehovah says thus who made you and formed you from the womb, who will help you: Do not fear, O Jacob my servant and you, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.

⁵ One will say, I am Jehovah's and another will call himself by the name of Jacob and another will subscribe with his hand to Jehovah and surname himself by the name of Israel.
⁶ Jehovah says thus, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, Jehovah of hosts: I am the first and I am the last and besides me there is no God.

²¹ Remember these things, O Jacob and Israel, for you are my servant. I have formed you. You are my servant, O Israel, you will not be forgotten by me. ²² I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, your transgressions, and as a cloud, your sins. Return to me, for I have redeemed you.
²³ Sing, O you* heavens, for Jehovah has done it. Shout, you* lower parts of the earth. Break forth into singing, you* mountains, O forest and every tree in it. For Jehovah has redeemed Jacob and will glorify himself in Israel.
²⁴ Jehovah says thus, your Redeemer and he who formed you from the womb: I am Jehovah, who makes all things, who stretches forth the heavens alone, who spreads abroad the earth (who is with me?),

³ And I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that it is I, Jehovah, who call you by your name, even the God of Israel. ⁴ For Jacob my servant's sake and Israel my chosen, I have called you by your name. I have surnamed you, though you have not known me.

¹⁷ Jehovah says thus, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am Jehovah your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way that you should go.

¹ Listen, O isles, to me and listen, you* peoples from far. Jehovah has called me from the womb. From the guts of my mother he has made mention of my name.

⁴ Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed. Neither be confounded, for you will not be put to shame. For you will forget the shame of your youth. And the reproach of your widowhood you will remember no more.
⁵ For your maker is your husband. Jehovah of hosts is his name. And the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer. He will be called the God of the whole earth.

¹² And they will call them The holy people, The redeemed of Jehovah. And you will be called Sought out, A city not forsaken.

¹⁶ For you are our Father, though Abraham knows us not and Israel does not acknowledge us, you, O Jehovah, are our Father, our Redeemer, from everlasting is your name.

³ Jehovah appeared of old to me, saying, Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love. Therefore with loving kindness I have drawn you.

²⁴ Do you not consider what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which Jehovah chose, he has cast them off? Thus they despise my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.

²⁶ then I will also cast away the seed of Jacob and of David my servant, so that I will not take of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. For I will cause their captivity to return and will have mercy on them.

³⁴ Their Redeemer is strong. Jehovah of hosts is his name. He will thoroughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the earth and shake the inhabitants of Babylon.

⁸ Now when I passed by you and looked upon you, behold, your time was the time of love. And I spread my skirt over you and covered your nakedness. Yes, I swore to you and entered into a covenant with you, says the lord Jehovah and you became mine.

⁹ And I will bring the third part into the fire and will refine them as silver is refined and will try them as gold is tried. They will call on my name and I will hear them. I will say, It is my people and they will say, Jehovah is my God.

¹⁷ And they will be mine, says Jehovah of hosts, my own possession, in the day that I make. And I will spare them, as a man spares his own son who serves him.

²⁰ But when neither sun nor stars appeared upon most days and not just a small storm was laying down upon us, all our hope to be saved was furthermore taken away.

²⁵ Hence, be cheerful, men; for I believe God, that it will be so according to the manner it has been spoken to me.

¹⁰ For we are his product, created in Christ Jesus toward good works, in which God prepared beforehand in order that we should walk in them.

¹⁹ Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal, ‘The Lord knows those who are his,’

¹⁴ who gave himself on our behalf, in order that he might redeem us away from all lawlessness and might cleanse a treasured people for himself, zealous of good works.

⁸ For finding-fault with them, he says, ‘Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, That I will complete a new covenant upon the house of Israel and upon the house of Judah; ⁹ not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by my hand to lead them forth out of the land of Egypt, because they did not remain in my covenant and I neglected them, says the Lord. ¹⁰ Because this one is the covenant which I will covenant with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord. I will be giving my laws into their mind and I will be writing them upon their hearts. And I will be a God to them and they will be covenanted into a people for me;

⁹ And they are singing a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the book and to open its seals, because you were slaughtered and bought us in your blood for God out of every tribe and language and people and nation.
