Isaiah 48 Cross References - MLV

1 Hear this, O house of Jacob, who are called by the name of Israel and have come forth out of the waters of Judah, who swear by the name of Jehovah and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness 2 (for they call themselves of the holy city and steady themselves upon the God of Israel, Jehovah of hosts is his name): 3 I have declared the former things from of old. Yes, they went forth out of my mouth and I showed them. Suddenly I did them and they happened.
4 Because I knew that you are obstinate and your neck is an iron muscle and your brow brass, 5 therefore I have declared it to you from of old. Before it happened I showed it to you, lest you should say, My idol has done them. And my graven image and my molten image, has commanded them.
6 You have heard it, behold all this and you*, will you* not declare it? I have shown you new things from this time, even hidden things, which you have not known. 7 They are created now and not from of old. And you have not heard them before this day, lest you should say, Behold, I knew them. 8 Yes, you heard not. Yes, you did not know. Yes, from of old your ear was not opened. For I knew that you dealt very treacherously and were called a transgressor from the womb.
9 For my name's sake I will defer my anger and for my praise I will refrain for you, that I not cut you off. 10 Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver. I have chosen you in the furnace of affliction. 11 For my own sake, for my own sake, I will do it. For how should my name be profaned? And I will not give my glory to another.
12 Listen to me, O Jacob and Israel my called: I am he. I am the first. I also am the last. 13 Yes, my hand has laid the foundation of the earth and my right hand has spread out the heavens. When I call to them, they stand up together.
14 Assemble yourselves, all you* and hear: Who among them has declared these things? He whom Jehovah loves will perform his pleasure on Babylon and his arm, the Chaldeans. 15 I, even I, have spoken, yes, I have called him. I have brought him and he will make his way prosperous.
16 Come you* near to me, hear this: From the beginning I have not spoken in secret. From the time that it was, there I am. And now the lord Jehovah and his Spirit has sent me.
17 Jehovah says thus, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am Jehovah your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way that you should go. 18 Oh that you had listened to my commandments! Then your peace would have been as a river and your righteousness as the waves of the sea. 19 Your seed also would have been as the sand and the offspring of your guts like the grains of it. His name would not be cut off nor destroyed from before me.
20 Go forth from Babylon. Flee from the Chaldeans. With a voice of singing declare, tell this, utter it even to the end of the earth. Say you*, Jehovah has redeemed his servant Jacob. 21 And they did not thirst when he led them through the deserts. He caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them. He also split the rock and the waters gushed out.
22 There is no peace, says Jehovah, to the wicked.

9 but as it has been written, ‘Things which the eye did not see and the ear did not hear and things which did not come up in the heart of man, which God prepared for those who love him.’

1 Peter 1:10-12

10 Concerning which salvation the prophets, who prophesied concerning the favor that would come to you, sought out and utterly searched out; 11 searching what time or what sort of time the Spirit of Christ in them was indicating, when testifying beforehand of the sufferings for Christ and the glories following after these things. 12 To whom it was revealed, that they were serving these things not to themselves, but to you; which things now have been reported to you through those who proclaimed the good-news to you in the Holy Spirit, when he was sent forth from heaven; into which things messengers desire to peer into.

Revelation 5:1-2

1 And I saw upon the right hand of the one who sits upon the throne a book having been written inside and on the back, having been sealed with seven seals. 2 And I saw a strong messenger preaching with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book and to loose its seals?

Revelation 6:1-17

1 And I saw that the Lamb opened one out of the seven seals and I heard one out of the four living creatures saying like a voice of thunder, Come and behold! 2 And behold a white horse and he who sits upon it holding a bow, and a crown was given to him and he came forth overcoming and in order that he might overcome.
3 And when he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, Come. 4 And there came forth, another horse of fire, and to the one who sits upon it was given to take peace from the earth, in order that they should slaughter one another and a great sword was given to him.
5 And when he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, Come and behold. And behold, I saw a black horse and he who sits upon it had a balance in his hand. 6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, Liter containers of grain for a denarius and three liter containers of barley for a denarius, and do not hurt the oil and the wine.
7 And when he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, Come and behold. 8 And behold, a pale-green horse and he who sits upon him, his name was Death, and Hades was following with him. And there was given to him authority over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with a long-sword and with famine and with death and by the beasts of the earth.
9 And when he opened the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who have been slaughtered because of the word of God and because of the testimony of the lamb which they were holding to. 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, Until when, O holy and true Master, do you not judge and avenge our blood from those who dwell upon the earth? 11 And a white robe was given to each, and it was said to them, in order that they should still rest themselves for a time, until both their fellow bondservants and those who are about to be killed as they were also, should be fulfilled.
12 And I saw when he opened the sixth seal and a great earthquake happened, and the sun became black like hairy sackcloth and the whole moon became like blood; 13 and the stars of the heaven fell to the earth, like a fig tree, having cast its unripe figs when being shaken by a great wind. 14 And the heaven departed like a scroll being coiled up, and every mountain and every island were moved out of their places. 15 And the kings of the earth and the great-men and the commanders and the rich and the strong and every bondservant and free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains; 16 and they say to the mountains and to the rocks, Fall upon us and hide us from the face of the one who is sitting upon the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb; 17 for the great day of his wrath has come, and who is able to stand?

Deuteronomy 9:7-24

7 Remember, do not you forget how you provoked Jehovah your God to wrath in the wilderness. From the day that you went forth out of the land of Egypt, until you* came to this place, you* have been rebellious against Jehovah.
8 Also in Horeb you* provoked Jehovah to wrath and Jehovah was angry with you* to destroy you*. 9 When I had gone up onto the mountain to receive the tablets of stone, even the tablets of the covenant which Jehovah made with you*, then I abode on the mountain forty days and forty nights. I neither ate bread nor drank water. 10 And Jehovah delivered to me the two tablets of stone written with the finger of God. And on them was according to all the words, which Jehovah spoke with you* in the mountain out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly.
11 And it happened, at the end of forty days and forty nights, that Jehovah gave me the two tablets of stone, even the tablets of the covenant. 12 And Jehovah said to me, Arise, get down quickly from here, for your people that you have brought forth out of Egypt have corrupted themselves. They have quickly turned aside out of the way which I commanded them. They have made them a molten image.
13 Furthermore Jehovah spoke to me, saying, I have seen this people, and behold, it is a stubborn people. 14 Let me alone, that I may destroy them and blot out their name from under heaven and I will make of you a nation mightier and greater than they.
15 So I turned and came down from the mountain and the mountain was burning with fire. And the two tablets of the covenant were in my two hands. 16 And I looked, and behold, you* had sinned against Jehovah your* God. You* had made you* a molten calf. You* had turned aside quickly out of the way which Jehovah had commanded you*. 17 And I took hold of the two tablets and cast them out of my two hands and broke them before your* eyes.
18 And I fell down before Jehovah, as at the first, forty days and forty nights. I neither ate bread nor drank water, because of all your* sin which you* sinned, in doing what was evil in the sight of Jehovah, to provoke him to anger. 19 For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure with which Jehovah was angry against you* to destroy you*. But Jehovah listened to me that time also.
20 And Jehovah was very angry with Aaron to destroy him. And I prayed for Aaron also at the same time. 21 And I took your* sin, the calf which you* had made and burnt it with fire and stamped it, grinding it very small, until it was as fine as dust. And I cast the dust of it into the brook that descended out of the mountain.
22 And at Taberah and at Massah and at Kibroth-hattaavah, you* provoked Jehovah to wrath. 23 And when Jehovah sent you* from Kadesh-barnea, saying, Go up and possess the land which I have given you*, then you* rebelled against the commandment of Jehovah your* God and you* did not believe him, nor listen to his voice.
24 You* have been rebellious against Jehovah from the day that I knew you*.

9 And it happened through the lightness of her prostitution, that the land was polluted and she committed adultery with stones and with stocks. 10 And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah has not returned to me with her whole heart, but in pretense, says Jehovah.
11 And Jehovah said to me, Backsliding Israel has shown herself more righteous than treacherous Judah.
