Job 21:27 Cross References - MLV

27 Behold, I know your* thoughts and the devices with which you* would wrong me.

Job 4:8-11

8 According to what I have seen, those who plow wickedness and sow trouble, reap the same. 9 By the breath of God they perish and by the blast of his anger they are consumed. 10 The roaring of the lion and the voice of the fierce lion and the teeth of the young lions, are broken. 11 The old lion perishes for lack of prey and the cubs of the lioness are scattered abroad.

Job 5:3-5

3 I have seen the foolish taking root, but suddenly I cursed his habitation. 4 His sons are far from safety and they are crushed in the gate. Neither is there any to deliver them, 5 whose harvest the hungry eat up and takes it even out of the thorns and the snare pants for their substance.

Job 8:3-6

3 Does God pervert justice? Or does the Almighty pervert righteousness? 4 If your sons have sinned against him and he has delivered them into the hand of their transgression, 5 if you would seek diligently to God and make your supplication to the Almighty, 6 if you were pure and upright, surely now he would awake for you and make the habitation of your righteousness prosperous.

Job 15:20-35

20 The wicked man travails with pain all his days, even the number of years that are laid up for the oppressor. 21 Sound of terrors is in his ears. In prosperity the destroyer will come upon him. 22 He does not believe that he will return out of darkness. And he is awaited by the sword. 23 He wanders abroad for bread, saying, Where is it? He knows that the day of darkness is ready at his hand. 24 Distress and anguish make him afraid. They prevail against him as a king ready to the battle. 25 Because he has stretched out his hand against God and behaves himself proudly against the Almighty.
26 He runs upon him with a stiff neck, with the thick studs of his bucklers, 27 because he has covered his face with his fatness and gathered fat upon his loins. 28 And he has dwelt in desolate cities, in houses which no man inhabited, which were ready to become heaps. 29 He will not be rich, neither will his substance continue, neither will their possessions be extended on the earth. 30 He will not depart out of darkness. The flame will dry up his offshoots and by the breath of God's mouth he will go away.
31 Let him not trust in vanity, making himself go-astray. For vanity will be his recompense. 32 It will be accomplished before his time and his branch will not be green. 33 He will shake off his unripe grape as the vine and will cast off his flower as the olive tree.
34 For the company of the hypocrites will be barren and fire will consume the tents of bribery. 35 They conceive mischief and bring forth wickness and their heart prepares deceit.
